Bluetooth® Pairing
The UX355 can connect with other Bluetooth® enabled
devices like headsets, speakerphones, and laptops that are
nearby so you can make calls and share data wirelessly.
1. From standby mode, press the Left Soft Key for Menu and
select Settings (8).
2. Scroll up and select Bluetooth (7).
3. Select Paired Devices (1).
4. Press the Right Soft Key for New and press OK to
search for new Bluetooth devices within range.
5. Press OK once again to turn on Bluetooth.
6. Select a found device and press OK.
7. Enter the device’s passkey (typically “0000” – 4 zeroes)
and press OK to pair. (Consult your device’s user
manual for its passkey.)
8. Press OK to connect.

Sending a vCard
Save needless keystroking by sending contact information
from your phone directly to another Bluetooth® enabled
device that supports vCard.
1. From standby mode, press the Right Soft Key
for Contacts.
2. Highlight a contact and press the Right Soft Key
for Options.
3. Select Send via Bluetooth (5).
4. If Bluetooth is off, select Yes (1) and press OK to
turn Bluetooth on.
5. Scroll to highlight a paired device and press OK
to send.

Taking a Picture
Take rich photos day or night with the 1.3 megapixel
camera with ash. Then let everyone else in on the fun by
sending them instantly to your favorite contacts.
1. Press the Key.
2. Press left or right on the Navigation Key to adjust
brightness and up or down for zoom* and press OK.
Press the Right Soft Key to adjust resolution, quality,
ash, and multishot*.
3. Press to take the picture.
4. Press the Left Soft Key to save or press OK to send.
Note: To take self-portraits with ip closed, press and hold the side Key.
Press side volume key to activate viewnder, then to take picture.
To view pictures, press the Key, then select Gallery.
*Camera setting of 1280 x 960
does not support zoom or
multishot functions.

Recording a Video
Need more than a picture to tell the story? Create
15-second video clips that capture those indescribable
moments, then share them with friends.
1. To record a video, press and hold the inside Key.
2. Press left or right on the Navigation Key to adjust
brightness and up or down for zoom and press OK.
Press the Right Soft Key to adjust resolution, ash
(video light), and white balance.
3. Press OK to start/stop recording. Press the Left Soft Key
to pause/resume recording.
4. Press the Left Soft Key to save or press OK to send.
Note: To view videos, press and hold the inside Key, then
select Gallery.

Using Voice Commands
With a press of a key, you can handle a host of common
tasks simply by talking to the phone. Or record up to 200
memos to capture those eeting thoughts and reminders.
1. From standby mode, press the Voice Command/Memo
Key on the lower left side.
2. After the prompt, say a command: Call Someone, Digit
Dial, Voice Mail, Missed Calls, Messages, or Time & Date.
3. Follow the prompts.
Note: Press and hold the side Voice Command/Memo Key to
activate the voice memo recorder.
