Internal Filter Replacement Guide
MX Next Generation
1Turn o power to the ionizer by pressing
the circle side of the power switch
located at the bottom of the ionizer.
Turn power o 2
Slide the provided lter wrench over the lter you
would like to change and turn the lter counter
clockwise to release it out of the socket. Pull up
on the lter to remove it from the ionizer.

like to change.

5Lubricate O-ring
Before installing the lter,
lube up the large outer
O-ring with either olive oil or
vaseline. Line up the 2 tabs
on the lter to the lter base
in the ionizer.
4Remove the clear plastic
packaging and rubber
cover from the bottom of
the lter.

After changing the rst lter, press and hold the “FILTER 1” button for
10 seconds. You will hear 2 beeps and the lter counter indicator will
reset to 3000.
Reset Filter Counter
Replace the cover and turn the
power switch back on.
7Reinstall cover

MENU FILTER1 FILTER2 ON/OFF ALKALINE PURIFIED ACIDIC
After changing the second lter, press and hold the “FILTER 2”
button for 10 seconds. You will hear 2 beeps and the lter counter
indicator will reset to 5000.

• Press the POWER button
• Select the “Puried Water” setting and let
the water run for 2-3 minutes
• Check for leaks
• The lter replacement is nished!
Final Steps
Once you have aligned the tabs on the
lter with the ionizer, press down and
twist the lter clockwise until it stops.
