•Human body measuring: point the product to human forehead within a range of 5-15cm and press the button.
Make sure the measuring area has not been covered by human hair or sweat."
•When the product has been carried to another environment; stay put for at least 5 minutes before
measurement begins. Extreme room temperature differences may affect capture results."
•The product should be used in stable room temperature, avoid to make measurements close to fans or air-con
ducts."
•Capture five readings for each measurement, take-up the result that appears the most as result."
Preset parameters
•Preset parameters can be adjusted to fine-tune measurements on different races. However, do not change
manufacture settings if not necessary."
Setting Operation Instruction
To change settings, follow the steps below:"
Units Settings- F1
Alerts Settings- F2
Thermometer: Body or Surface -F3
Parameters Tuning Settings- F4
Press-Hold the SETTING key for 2 seconds until display F1. "
Select v for °C and ^ for °F. Press key to confirm. (manufacture default is °C)
Press-Hold the SETTING key for 2 seconds until display F1, press SETTING again to enter F2 mode."
Select ^ to increase 0.1°C, v to decrease 0.1°C."
Press SETTING to confirm. (Manufacture default at38.0°C)
Press-Hold the SETTING key for 2 seconds until display F1.Press SETTING key twice to enter F3."
Press v to select 0 to enter "Body" mode."
Press ^ to select 1 to enter "Surface" mode."
Press SETTING to confirm. (manufacture default at Body mode)"
Important: Only use "Body" mode to capture human body temperature; surface mode should only be used to capture
object temperature.
Parameters can be tuned to suit different skin types"

Press-Hold the SETTING key for 2 seconds until display F1, press SETTING Key 3 times to enter F4.
Select ^ to increase 0.1°C, press v to decrease 0.1°C. (Manufacture default at +0.8°C)"
Press SETTING to confirm.

Under F5 mode, Press-hold SETTING key until display turned off; Exit settings."
Storage Review
The product will automatically store up measuring results up to 32 records; Do the followings for review:"
Press-hold ^ and v key for 2 seconds to display last record; press M to view previous record and onwards. Stay put for
5 seconds will exit history viewing mode automatically."

Changing Batteries
The Product uses 2pcs of AAA batteries, and may use for100 thousand measurements in
theory. When a battery symbol has been displayed and flashing; that means low battery.
Replace new batteries as soon as possible."
When replacing the batteries, make sure the new batteries are installed correctly! positive to "+"
and negative to "-". The product will not be working with a wrong battery installation, however,
it will not harm the product."
Use disposable alkaline batteries for each replacement, and DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES.
The product contains a very low power consumption during idle, take out the batteries only if
idle period is more than 6 months."
Maintenance
•External Cleaning: use a piece of clean cloth or medical alcohol to clean up dirt and stains Surrounding the casing."
•Internal Cleaning: the internal "mirror" is an important component of the product! DO NOT TOUCH it or else it will
affect measuring accuracy. In case of Cleaning, use 95% Alcohol with a piece of clean cloth only. DO NOT USE ANY
OTHER KINDS OF CHEMICAL."
Press-Hold the SETTING key for 2 seconds until display F1, press SETTING key 4 times to enter F5."
Press ^ to turn on Alert Alarm (Alert symbol will be displayed on screen), Press to turn offAlert"
Alarm.(Alert symbol will be disappeared). Press SETTING to confirm. (manufacture default at Alert
turned on)

Q & A
1. Display temperature is greater than 95."
•Display units shall be °F, try to switch back to °C."
•Please follow the steps of F1 in the user menu."
2. Display temperature is lower than 32°C"
•Capturing mode shall be in "Surface" mode, try to switch back to “Body" mode. Please follow the steps of F3
in the user menu."
3. When "HI" message has been displayed"
•Under "Body" mode, when a reading is above 42.9°C, a “HI" message will be displayed. Make sure the there
is no external heat that surround the product or object during measurement. If the message continue occurs,
please contact local dealer for Service."
4. When "LO" message has been displayed"
•Under "Body" mode, when a reading is below 32°C, a "LO" message will be Displayed. Make sure the
measurement is not taken under a fan or air-condition; If the message continue occurs, please contact local
dealer for Service."

Temperature changes
Human beings are homeothermic; their temperature is stable, but not immutable! Temperature may change constantly
in a day as follows:"
!Evening: !lowest; activities reduce (lower than 37°C)"
!Morning: !higher; muscle contracts, which generates heat. "
!Noon:! ! highest; naturally regulates, lazy and sleepy. "
!3-4 PM: !! lower; physical exertion and blood sugar is low."
!Nightfall: !lowest; as room temperature goes down after sunset."
Female basal temperature
Female basal temperature is different than men, generally men's is 0.3°C higher, plus a further 0.3°C-0.5°C higher
during adulatory period."
How to confirm pregnancy through body temperature
differences
Basic temperature will increase with ovulation, in the first half of the menstrual cycle, temperature should be under
36.6°C. At the latter half of the menstrual cycle, temperature should be higher than the first half. The range shall be
between 36.6°C and 37°C, body temperature increased indicates that the particular tested female shall be pregnant!
The higher body temperature should last for 2 weeks and then reduced. In case of pregnancy, body temperature won't
reduce and remains high. Temperature will continuously be high during the period of pregnancy. However, pregnancy or
fever will also affect the body temperature curve, so it is not 100% accurate. Please consult a doctor to verify."

Advantage:
non-contact, rapid, and precise.
Disadvantage:
high demand environment requirement, such as air-condition outlet or not close
to other heat energy source. Also, human hair or sweat may also affect reading
precision.
