The Linea Alba of the AOCT Pad and the Peritoneum contain natural latex.
Persons allergic to latex should wear latex free gloves when handling the Trainer.
Wash your hands before touching the foam. If the foam is handled after contact
with certain metals, such as copper coins, it becomes yellow and discoloured.
Practice normal hygiene after handling the Trainer.

An advanced abdominal wall pad consisting of epidermis, dermis, fat
and linea alba. This pad has a separate peritoneal layer and is mounted
on a base for teaching abdominal surgical access and closure techniques.

Anatomy
– 5 layered system represents the abdom-
inal wall anatomy: epidermis, dermis, fat,
linea alba, peritoneum

– Abdominal wall is held under tension by
a balloon which represents the intestines

- Peritoneums (x2)
- Balloons (x5)
• 50055 BSS AOCT Frame
• Base

Fold down the legs of the Support
Frame and insert them into the white
plastic lugs as shown
Inflate the supplied balloon and
push underneath the Support Frame.
Maximum diameter for the balloon
should be 110mm
Push down on the Support Frame to
ensure the legs are fully engaged
Turn the AOCT pad upside down and
ensure that the white Peritoneum
layer is placed in the centre of the
pad, as shown

Place the AOCT Pad on the Support
Frame with the Peritoneum facing
down
Secure the Pad to the Frame by
folding over the four flaps
