Features
• PS/2 interface for keyboard and mouse
• Uses PS/2 cables to extend keyboard and mouse
signals distances of over 150m.
• No software installation required
Installation & Operation
Before installing the Extender, please make sure all
computers and peripherals have been turned off.
Using two PS/2 cables connect the mouse and keyboard
ports of the PC or KVM switch to the ports labelled PC IN on
the
Transmitter
unit. To aid installation the keyboard
connection is coloured purple and the mouse connection is
coloured green.
Connect two PS/2 cables of appropriate length to the ports
labelled EXTENDER on the
Transmitter
and
Receiver
units.
Plug your keyboard and mouse into the ports labelled KB
and MS on the
Receiver
unit.
Connect the power supply to the
Receiver
and switch it ON.
Switch on the computers and peripherals.
If you want to use the Extender to connect a PC to a KVM
switch or to connect two KVM switches to each other, follow
the diagrams below:

Installation & Betrieb
Bevor Sie den Extender installieren schalten Sie bitte die
angeschlossenen Geräte aus.
Die Anschlüsse des
Transmitters
mit der Bezeichnung PC IN
werden mit Maus- und Tastatur-Anschlüssen des Rechners
bzw. KVM Switch verbunden. Verswechseln Sie dabei nicht
Maus-(grün) mit Tastaturport (violett)!!!
Transmitter
and
Receiver
werden mit zwei PS/2 Kabeln
geeigneter Länge verbunden (Portbezeichnung: EXTENDER,
markieren Sie die Kabel für Maus und Tastatur um
Verwechselungen zu vermeiden!
Maus und Tastatur werden direkt an den Receiver and die
Ports KB und MS angeschlossen.
Schließen Sie nun das Netzteil an den
Receiver
an und
schalten Sie danach die angeschlossenen Geräte wieder ein.
Sofern Sie den Extender zwischen PC und einem KVM Switch
oder zwischen zwei KVM switches verwenden wollen folgen
Sie der untenstehenden Zeichnung:

Caractéristiques

Installation & Utilisation
Avant d’installer l’Extender, assurez-vous d’avoir éteint tous
les ordinateurs et les périphériques.
Connectez les deux câbles PS/2 aux ports souris et clavier du
PC ou du commutateur KVM aux ports PC IN sur le
Transmetteur
. Pour permettre de connecter correctement le
clavier et la souris, les connexions sont différenciées par des
couleurs.
Connectez deux câbles PS/2 de la longueur appropriée aux
ports EXTENDER sur le
Transmetteur
et le
Recepteur
.
Connectez votre clavier et souris aux ports KB et MS sur le
Récepteur
.
Connectez l’alimentation au
Récepteur
et allumez-le. Allumez
ensuite l’ordinateur et les périphériques.
Si vous souhaitez utiliser l’Extender pour connecter un PC à
un commutateur KVM ou pour connecter deux KVM ensemble,
suivez le diagramme ci-dessous:
