Introduction
The USB KM EXTENDER can be used to extend the
distance between a standard USB keyboard and
mouse and a host computer by up to 300m / 1000
feet. It consists of a local unit with a USB Type A
connector to be connected to the host computer USB
port and a remote unit with two USB type A
receptacles for mouse and keyboard.
This extender is designed to operate STANDARD USB
HID keyboards and mice only. It does not work with
wireless keyboards or mouse and it does not support
any keyboard or mouse other than those with standard
drivers!
Standard Category 5 Network cable (UTP or STP) up
to 300m length (1000 feet) is used to connect the two
units.
Do NOT connect the RJ45 ports
to your LAN network!!
Specifications
Interconnect UTP/STP cable CAT5e or higher, length
up to 300m / 1000 feet with RJ45 connectors.
USB INTERFACE: USB HID mouse and keyboard
ONLY, no support for special drivers and functions, no
support for wireless keyboard / mouse.
This device registers in the USB bus as a USB
Composite Device.
Installation
Connect the local unit to your computer.
Connect the power supply and your mouse and
keyboard to the remote unit and switch on.

Einführung
Der LINDY USB-EXTENDER wird verwendet um
Distanzen zwischen Computer und USB Maus & Tastatur
auf bis zu 300m zu erweitern. Er besteht aus einer
lokalen Einheit (mit USB-Kabel mit Typ A Stecker,
Anschluss an den fernzubedienenden Rechner) und
einer Remote-Einheit (Device-Seite mit eingebauter USB
Typ A Buchse).
Der Extender ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb mit
Standard-Mäusen & -Tastaturen entwickelt worden. Er
unterstützt keine kabellosen Versionen und
ausschließlich Standardtreiber.
Zur Verbindung werden Standard-Netzwerkkabel bis zu
300m Länge (Kategorie 5e oder höher) verwendet.
Verbinden Sie den Extender NICHT mit
RJ45-Anschlüssen ihres LAN / Netzwerkes!!!

recycling of all waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to

Elektronikgeräten über die Hausmülltonne! Diese Geräte müssen den lokalen
Sammelsystemen bzw. örtlichen Sammelstellen zugeführt werden! Dort werden sie
kostenlos entgegen genommen. Die Kosten für den weiteren Recyclingprozess
übernimmt die Gesamtheit der Gerätehersteller.

Introduction
L’EXTENDER USB peut être utilisé pour étendre la
distance entre un couple souris/clavier standard USB et
un ordinateur, jusqu’à 300m. Il comprend une unité
locale avec une prise USB type A à connecter sur
l’ordinateur, et une unité distante avec deux prises USB
type A, pour souris et clavier.
Cet extender n’est PAS prévu pour fonctionner avec
autre chose qu’une souris et un clavier USB. Il ne
fonctionne pas avec les souris et claviers sans fil, et il
ne supporte pas autre chose que des pilotes standard
USB!
Un câble réseau standard catégorie 5 (UTP ou STP)
jusqu’à 300m est utilise pour connecter les 2 unités.
Ne connectez PAS les ports RJ45 de l’extender à un
réseau local!!
Spécifications

supérieur, jusqu’à 300m avec prises RJ45.
INTERFACE USB: USB HID souris et clavier
UNIQUEMENT, ne supporte pas des pilotes et fonctions
spécifiques, ne supporte pas les claviers/souris sans fil.
Cet appareil est reconnu par le bus USB en tant
qu’appareil USB composite.
Installation
Connectez l’unité locale à votre ordinateur, puis
connectez le câble réseau à l’unité distante.
Connectez l’alimentation et votre souris et clavier à
l’unité distante et allumez-le.

Questo USB KM EXTENDER può essere utilizzato per
estendere la distanza tra un computer e mouse e
tastiera USB fino a 300m. Consiste in un’unità locale
con un connettore USB Tipo A per collegarlo ad una
porta USB del computer, e in un’unità remota con due
porte USB Tipo A per mouse e tastiera.
Questo extender supporta solo mouse e tastiere
STANDARD USB HID. Non è compatibile con tastiere
e mouse wireless, supporta solo queste periferiche
con driver standard USB!
Per collegare le due unità occorre un cavo di rete
standard Cat 5 (UTP o STP) lungo fino a 300m.
NON connettere le porte RJ45 ad
una rete LAN!!
