Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the HDMI Cat6 Extender Classic 30m 1080p
3D. This Extender allows you to transmit Full HD 1080p video and audio
over two inexpensive and flexible Cat.6 cables of up to 30m. For HDMI
3D Blu-ray, distances of up to 15m are supported. For the highest
resolution with the longest distance, we highly recommend using LINDY
Cat.6 or Cat.6A cables. Cat.5/5e cables are not supported.

Installation
If you want to lay cables inside a cable duct, please test your
RJ45 cables in a test installation with the extender BEFORE
you install them in your wall or cable duct!
If problems are encountered, please follow these steps
accordingly:
1. Connect Transmitter and Receiver via the RJ45 cables –
use the highest quality cable for the “TMDS” ports.
2. Switch off your HDMI devices.
3. Switch on the HDMI display / projector
4. Connect the Receiver to the HDMI Display or projector.
5. Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source
6. Switch on your HDMI source
Troubleshooting
Make sure to follow the proper sequence when switching on the units
as described above.
Try to exchange the 2 RJ45 cables with each other and follow the
installation sequence once again.
Especially for extended distances above 20m, you will need high
quality RJ45 cables with at least Cat.6 quality, if further problems are
encountered, please use Cat.6A at least for the cable connecting the
ports labeled “TMDS”.
Please regard the maximum supported distances: 30m for Full HD
1080p60 or 15m for 1080p24 3D.
The extender is powered via its HDMI ports from the HDMI devices.
If your HDMI devices do not provide sufficient power, the extender
may not function properly or even not at all. We have found such
insufficient power provisioning from a Samsung BD player E5500 as
also from an integrated on board Radeon R7 200 graphics of an AMD
A10 series processor on a Asrock FM2A88Xmainboard. Insuch case
it is required to use an HDMI Extender with its own power supply like
LINDY No. 38023.
If you still can’t get the setup working, your HDMI source device might
have a weak HDMI signal strength, too –try to use a stronger HDMI
source.

Dieser HDMI Cat.6 Extender Classic 30m erlaubt die Übertragung
von Full HD 1080p Video mit Audio über zwei günstige flexible Cat.6
RJ45 Kabel. Für HDMI 3D BluRay Signale sind die erreichbaren
Distanzen auf 15m verkürzt, manche Gerätekombinationen
unterstützen aber auch hier höhere Distanzen. Für die RJ45-
Verbindungskabel empfehlen wir dringend die Verwendung
hochwertiger Cat.6 Kabel, Cat.5/5e Kabel sollten nicht verwendet
werden.

INSTALLATION
Bevor Sie die Kabel in der Wand oder in einen Kanal verlegen,
empfehlen wir dringend einen Testaufbau!
Gehen Sie unbedingt nach folgender Reihenfolge vor:
1. Verbinden Sie Transmitter und Receiver mit den beiden
RJ45 Kabeln –das höherwertige für die „TMDS“ Ports
2. Schalten Sie alle HDMI Geräte aus
3. Schalten das HDMI Display/den Projektor ein
4. Schließen Sie den Receiver am HDMI Display/Projektor an
5. Schließen Sie den Transmitter an der HDMI Quelle an
6. Schalten sie die HDMI Quelle ein
PROBLEMBESEITIGUNG
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die o.g. Verbindungs- und Einschalt-
Reihenfolge eingehalten haben
Wechseln Sie die beiden RJ45 Kabel untereinander aus
Besonders bei großen Distanzen über 20m benötigen Sie auf alle
Fälle für das RJ45 Kabel zur Verbindung der mit „TMDS“
bezeichneten Ports ein sehr hochwertiges Kabel zumindest der
Qualität Cat.6.
Beachten Sie die ganz oben genannten Maximallängen.
Die Stromversorgung des Extenders erfolgt über die HDMI
Anschlüsse. An Geräten, die nur wenig Strom über die HDMI
Buchsen liefern, z.B. Samsung BD-Player E5500 oder im
Prozessor AMD A10 Serie auf Asrock FM2A88X integrierte On-
Board Grafik Radeon R7 200, kann oftmals keine stabile Funktion
des Extenders erreicht werden. In solchen Fällen ist ein Extender
mit eigner Stromversorgung wie LINDY Nr. 38023 zu verwenden.
Sollte Ihr Setup dennoch nicht funktionieren, so liefert Ihre HDMI
Quelle wahrscheinlich kein kräftiges stabiles HDMI-Signal -
verwenden Sie eine bessere HDMI Signalquelle.

Introduction
Cet Extender HDMI Cat.6 Classic 30m permet la transmission de
signaux audio et vidéo Full HD 1080p via deux câbles réseau
cat.6 RJ45. Pour les signaux HDMI BluRay 3D, les distances de
transmission sont réduites à 15m, certaines combinaisons de produits
supportent de plus grandes distances. Nous vous conseillons
vivement l’utilisation de câbles LINDY RJ45 cat.6 ou cat.6A, les câbles
cat.5/5e ou UTP ne sont pas pris en charge.

Installation
Si vous voulez faire passer vos câbles au travers d’une goulotte, merci
de tester vos câbles RJ45 AVANT de les installer dans une goulotte !
Si vous rencontrez des problèmes, merci de suivre ces étapes:
1. Connectez l’émetteur et le récepteur via des câbles
RJ45 –utilisez le meilleur câble pour les ports “TMDS”.
2. Eteignez vos appareils HDMI.
3. Allumez vos écrans/projecteurs HDMI
4. Connectez le récepteur à l’écran HDMI ou au projecteur.
5. Connectez l’émetteur à la source HDMI
6. Allumez votre source HDMI
Dépannage
Assurez-vous que la connexion soit faite entre chaque
élément et que l’ordre d’allumage soit respecté
Echangez les deux câbles RJ45
Pour les distances supérieures à 20m, vous devez utiliser un
câble RJ45 haute qualité avec le port “TMDS“, au minimum en
cat.6 et cat.6A si nécessaire.
Vérifiez bien les distances maximales utilisées : 30m pour le Full
HD 1080p60 ou 15m pour en 1080p24 3D.
L’extender est alimenté par ses ports HDMI via les appareils
connectés en HDMI. Si vos appareils HDMI ne délivrent pas
suffisamment de courant, l’extender ne fonctionnera pas de façon
convenable ou même pas du tout. Nous avons identifié ce type de
problème avec un lecteur BD Samsung E5500 ainsi qu’avec un
processeur AMD A10 sur une carte mère Asrock FM2A88X avec
carte graphique intégrée Radeon R7 200. Dans ces cas, un
extender avec alimentation devra être utilisée, comme le
N°Art.38023 LINDY par exemple.
Si votre installation ne fonctionne toujours pas, votre source
HDMI n’émet pas un signal HDMI assez puissant, essayez d’utiliser
une source HDMI suffisamment puissante pour corriger le
problème.

1080p 3D. Questo prodotto vi permetterà di trasmettere un segnale
audio/video Full HD 1080p fino a 30m di distanza utilizzando due
cavi di rete Cat.6, Per segnali provenienti da Blu-ray in formato
HDMI 3D è possibile raggiungere una distanza massima di 15m. Per
l’utilizzo ad alte risoluzioni su lunghe distanze raccomandiamo
l’utilizzo di cavi di alta qualità LINDY Cat.6 o Cat.6A. I cavi Cat.5/5e
non sono supportati.

Installazione
Se volete utilizzare cavi installati in condutture vi raccomandiamo di
effettuare una prova di trasmissione PRIMA di infilare di cavi!
Seguite i seguenti passi per una corretta installazione:
1. Collegate Trasmettitore e Ricevitore tramite i cavi RJ45 –
utilizzate il cavo di migliore qualità per le porte “TMDS”.
2. Spegnete la sorgente HDMI
3. Accendete lo schermo/proiettore HDMI
4. Collegate il Ricevitore allo schermo/proiettore HDMI
5. Collegate il Trasmettitore alla sorgente HDMI
6. Accendete la sorgente HDMI
Risoluzione dei problemi
Assicuratevi di seguire la corretta sequenza in fase di
accensione dei dispositivi come descritto sopra.
Provate a scambiare i cavi RJ45 e poi ripetete nuovamente la
sequenza di accensione.
Per le distanze oltre i 20m è necessario utilizzare cavi RJ45
cat.6 di alta qualità. Nel caso riscontriate problemi è consigliabile
utilizzare cavi Cat.6A almeno per le porte indicate con la sigla
“TMDS”.
Fate attenzione alle massime distanze supportate: 30m per
video Full HD 1080p60 o 15m a 1080p24 3D.
L’extender è alimentato tramite la porta HDMI dai dispositivi
HDMI a cui è collegato. Nel caso questi ultimi non forniscano
sufficiente corrente il prodotto potrebbe funzionare male o non
funzionare del tutto. Abbiamo riscontrato problemi di questo
genere per esempio con il lettore Bluray Samsung E5500, con
una scheda grafica Radeon R7 200 integrata nel chip AMD A10
installato su una motherboard Asrock FM2A88X. In questi casi è
necessario utilizzare un extender di fascia superiore con
alimentazione propria come l’ art. 38023.
Se non riuscite comunque ad realizzare un installazione
funzionante può essere che la sorgente abbia un livello del
segnale HDMI troppo debole. In questo caso provate ad
utilizzare una sorgente più potente.
