HDMI™-Übertragungsset
Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor dem
Betrieb gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieses Übertragungsset, bestehend aus zwei Sig-
nalwandlern, ermöglicht die Übertragung von
HDMI™-Signalen über ein Cat-5- oder Cat-6-
Netzwerkkabel. Die Länge des Verbindungskabels
kann dadurch für eine Auflösung von 1080p bis
zu 30 m betragen. Die Signalwandler sind zum
HDMI™-Standard 1.3 kompatibel und unterstützen
3D-Signale. Mithilfe eines HDMI™-DVI-Adapters ist
auch die Übertragung eines DVI-Signals möglich.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren
Gebrauch
Die Geräte (Signalwandler und Netzgeräte) ent-
sprechen allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und
sind deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt folgende Punkte:
GVerwenden Sie die Geräte nur im Innenbereich
und schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwas-
ser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger
Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
GNehmen Sie die Signalwandler nicht in Betrieb
und ziehen Sie sofort das entsprechende Netz-
gerät aus der Steckdose,
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden an einem der Geräte
vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall zur Repara-
tur in eine Fachwerkstatt.
GVerwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-
nes, weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Che-
mikalien.
GWerden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht rich-
tig angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht
fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschä-
den und keine Garantie für die Geräte übernom-
men werden.
Sollen die Geräte endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben
Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
WARNUNG Die Netzgeräte werden mit lebens-
gefährlich hoher Netzspannung ver-
sorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals
selbst Eingriffe daran vor. Durch un-
sachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
3 Montage und Inbetriebnahme
Die Signalwandler können jeweils über ihre beiden
Montagewinkel (1) mithilfe von Schrauben z. B. an
einer Wand befestigt werden.
1) Die Audio-/Videoquelle an die Buchse HDMI IN
(4) auf der Vorderseite des Senders Transmitter
anschließen.
2) Das Gerät zur Verarbeitung des Signals (z. B.
Monitor) an die Buchse HDMI OUT (7) auf der
Vorderseite des Empfängers Receiver anschlie-
ßen.
3) Die Buchsen LINK (6) vom Typ RJ45 (8P8C),
jeweils auf der Rückseite von Sender und Emp-
fänger, mithilfe eines ungeschirmten Cat-5-
oder Cat-6-Kabels (UTP) verbinden (z. B. „CAT-
5100UTP“ von MONACOR). Die Kontakte der
RJ45-Stecker müssen gerade durchverbunden
sein.
Erreichbare Bildauflösungen:
Cat-6, Kabellänge bis 20 m:1080p
Cat-5, Kabellänge bis 30 m:1080p
4) Um eines der beiden voreingestellten Signalfor-
mate zu wählen, am Sender Transmitter den
DIP-Schalter (5) Nr. 1 in die Position OFF↑stel-
len und mit dem Schalter Nr. 2 das Format wäh-
len:
OFF↑Video: 1080i, Audiokanäle: 2, LPCM
ON↓Video: 1080p, Audiokanäle: 5.1, LPCM
Benötigt der verwendete Monitor ein anderes
Format, kann dieses automatisch ermittelt wer-
den. Dazu ist es erforderlich, den Monitor vorü-
bergehend an den Eingang HDMI IN (4) des
Senders Transmitter anzuschließen und fol-
gende Schritte durchzuführen.
a) Den DIP-Schalter Nr. 1 in die Position ON↓
stellen.
b) Den Monitor einschalten.
c) Eines der mitgelieferten Steckernetzgeräte
mit der Kleinspannungsbuchse „DC 5 V“ (2)
am Sender verbinden und in eine Netzsteck-
dose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Die Betriebs-
anzeige ON (3) des Senders leuchtet kurz
und beginnt dann zu blinken. Das vom Moni-
tor empfangene Signalformat ist jetzt im Sen-
der gespeichert.
d) Den Sender wieder von der Stromversor-
gung trennen.
e) Den Monitor wieder an den Ausgang HDMI
OUT (7) des Empfängers anschließen und
die Signalquelle an den Eingang HDMI IN (4)
des Senders.
Um das gespeicherte (automatisch ermittelte)
Signalformat zu verwenden, muss der DIP-
Schalter Nr. 1 in der Position ON↓stehen.
5) Die beiliegenden Steckernetzgeräte jeweils mit
der Kleinspannungsbuchse „DC 5 V“ (2) an
Sender und Empfänger verbinden und in eine
Netzsteckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Damit
sind die Geräte eingeschaltet; die Betriebsan-
zeigen ON (3) leuchten.
Bis zu einer Kabellänge von 30 m ist für den
Empfänger kein eigenes Netzgerät erforderlich,
er wird über das Datenkabel vom Sender ver-
sorgt. Die Betriebsanzeige ON des Empfängers
leuchtet nur, wenn ein Netzgerät angeschlossen
ist.
Achten Sie zur Vermeidung von Übertragungsstö-
rungen beim Verlegen des Kabels auf genügend
Abstand zu Geräten oder Leitungen mit elektro-
magnetischen Feldern (z. B. Mikrowellenherde,
Funksender, Netzkabel).
3.1 LEDs der LINK-Buchsen
Die LEDs an den Buchsen LINK (6) haben fol-
gende Bedeutungen:

HDMI™ Transmission Set
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to operation and keep them for later refer-
ence.
1 Applications
This transmission set consisting of two signal con-
verters is designed for transmitting HDMI™ signals
via Cat 5 or Cat 6 network cable. Thus, for a reso-
lution of 1080p, the connection cable may have
a length of up to 30 m. The signal converters
are compatible with HDMI™ 1.3 standard and sup-
port 3D signals. By means of an HDMI™ to DVI
adapter, transmission of a DVI signal is also pos-
sible.
2 Safety Notes
The units (signal converters and power supply
units) correspond to all relevant directives of the
EU and are therefore marked with .
Please observe the following items in any case:
GThe units are suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect them against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range: 0 – 40 °C).
GDo not operate the signal converters and imme-
diately disconnect the corresponding power sup-
ply unit from the socket
1. if one of the units is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit
was dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
GNo guarantee claims for the units and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the units are used for
other purposes than originally intended, if they
are not correctly connected or operated, or if
they are not repaired in an expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
WARNING The power supply units use danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling may result in electric shock.
3 Installation and Operation
To install the signal converters (e. g. on a wall), fas-
ten them with screws via the two mounting brack-
ets (1) of each unit.
1) Connect the audio/video source to the jack
HDMI IN (4) on the front of the Transmitter.
2) Connect the unit for processing the signal (e. g.
monitor) to the jack HDMI OUT (7) on the front
of the Receiver.
3) Connect the jacks LINK (6) of the type RJ45
(8P8C), each on the rear of the transmitter and
the receiver, by means of an unshielded Cat 5 or
Cat 6 cable (UTP) [e. g. “CAT-5100UTP” from
MONACOR]. The contacts of the RJ45 plugs
must be connected straight through.
Image resolution to be obtained:
Cat 6, cable length up to 20 m: 1080p
Cat 5, cable length up to 30 m: 1080p
4) To select one of the two predefined signal for-
mats, set the DIP switch (5) on the Transmitter
No. 1 to the position OFF↑and then use switch
No. 2 to select the format:
OFF↑Video: 1080i, audio channels: 2, LPCM
ON↓Video: 1080p, audio channels: 5.1, LPCM
If the monitor used requires another format, the
required format can be determined automati-
cally: Temporarily connect the monitor to the
input HDMI IN (4) of the Transmitter and then do
the following:
a) Set the DIP switch No. 1 to the position ON↓.
b) Switch on the monitor.
c) Connect one of the plug-in power supply
units provided to the low voltage jack “DC
5 V” (2) on the transmitter and to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz). The power LED ON
(3) of the transmitter will light up briefly and
will then start to flash. The signal format
received from the monitor will now be saved
on the transmitter.
d) Disconnect the transmitter from the power
supply.
e) Connect the monitor to the output HDMI OUT
(7) of the receiver and connect the signal
source to the input HDMI IN (4) of the trans-
mitter.
To use the signal format saved (automatically
determined), set the DIP switch No. 1 to the
position ON↓.
5) Connect the plug-in power supply units provided
to the low voltage jack “DC 5 V” (2) each on the
transmitter and on the receiver, then connect
them to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz). Thus,
the units are switched on; the power LEDs ON
(3) light up.
For cables with a length of up to 30 m, no sepa-
rate power supply unit for the receiver is
required; the transmitter will supply the receiver
with power via the data cable. The power LED
ON of the receiver will only light up when a
power supply unit is connected.
To prevent interference during transmission: While
laying the cable, make sure that its distance to
units or cables with electromagnetic fields (e. g.
microwaves, wireless transmitters, mains cables)
is sufficient.
3.1 LEDs of the jacks LINK
The LEDs at the jacks LINK (6) indicate the follow-
ing:

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant
le fonctionnement et conservez-la pour pouvoir
vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Ce set de transmission composé de deux conver-
tisseurs de signal, permet de transmettre des si-
gnaux HDMI™ via un cordon réseau Cat 5 ou Cat 6.
La longueur du cordon de connexion peut aller
jusquʼà 30 m pour une résolution de 1080p. Les
convertisseurs de signal sont compatibles avec le
standard HDMI™ 1.3 et acceptent les signaux 3D.
Avec un adaptateur HDMI™ DVI, la transmission
dʼun signal DVI est également possible.
2 Conseils dʼutilisation
et de sécurité
Les appareils (convertisseurs de signal et blocs
secteur) répondent à toutes les directives néces-
saires de lʼUnion européenne et portent donc le
symbole .
Respectez scrupuleusement les points suivants :
GLes appareils ne sont conçus que pour une utili-
sation en intérieur. Protégez-les de tout type de
projections dʼeau, des éclaboussures, dʼune
humidité élevée de lʼair et de la chaleur (plage
de température de fonctionnement autorisée :
0 – 40 °C).
GNe faites jamais fonctionner les convertisseurs
de signal et débranchez immédiatement le bloc
secteur correspondant lorsque :
1. des dommages visibles apparaissent sur un
des appareils.
2. après une chute ou accident similaire..., lʼap-
pareil peut présenter un défaut.
3. des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.
Dans tous les cas, les appareils doivent être
réparés par un technicien spécialisé.
GPour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon sec et
doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou
dʼeau.
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages corporels ou matériels résultants si
les appareils sont utilisés dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel ils ont été conçus, sʼils ne sont
pas correctement branchés ou utilisés ou sʼils ne
sont pas réparés par une personne habilitée ; de
même, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
AVERTISSEMENT Les blocs secteur sont alimen-
tés par une tension dange-
reuse. Ne touchez jamais lʼinté-
rieur de lʼappareil car vous
pourriez subir une décharge
électrique.
3 Montage et fonctionnement
Les convertisseurs de signal peuvent être fixés via
leurs deux étriers de montage (1) avec des vis, par
exemple sur un mur.
1) Reliez la source audio/vidéo à la prise HDMI IN
(4) sur la face avant de lʼémetteur Transmitter.
2) Reliez lʼappareil pour traiter le signal (par exem-
ple moniteur) à la prise HDMI OUT (7) sur la
face avant du récepteur Receiver.
3) Reliez les prises LINK (6) de type RJ45 (8P8C),
respectivement sur la face arrière de lʼémetteur
et du récepteur via un câble non blindé Cat 5 ou
Cat 6 (UTP) [par exemple “CAT-5100UTP” de
MONACOR]. Les contacts des fiches RJ45
doivent être connectés en direct.
Résolutions dʼimage possibles :
Cat 6, longueur de câble jusquʼà 20 m : 1080p
Cat 5, longueur de câble jusquʼà 30 m : 1080p
4) Pour sélectionner un des deux formats de signal
préréglés, mettez, sur lʼémetteur Transmitter,
lʼinterrupteur DIP (5) N°1 sur la position OFF↑et
sélectionnez le format avec lʼinterrupteur N°2 :
OFF↑Video: 1080i, canaux audio : 2, LPCM
ON↓Video: 1080p, canaux audio : 5.1, LPCM
Si le moniteur utilisé nécessite un autre format,
il peut être automatiquement déterminé. Pour
ce faire, il est nécessaire de relier au préalable
le moniteur à lʼentrée HDMI IN (4) de lʼémetteur
Transmitter et dʼeffectuer les étapes suivantes.
a) Mettez lʼinterrupteur DIP N°1 sur la position
ON↓.
b) Allumez le moniteur.
c) Reliez un des blocs secteur livrés à la prise
dʼalimentation “DC 5 V” (2) sur lʼémetteur et à
une prise secteur (230 V~/50 Hz). Le témoin
de fonctionnement ON (3) de lʼémetteur brille
brièvement et commence à clignoter. Le for-
mat de signal reçu du moniteur est mainte-
nant mémorisé dans lʼémetteur.
d) Débranchez à nouveau lʼémetteur de lʼali-
mentation.
e) Reliez à nouveau le moniteur à la sortie
HDMI OUT (7) du récepteur et la source de
signal à lʼentrée HDMI IN (4) de lʼémetteur.
Pour utiliser le format de signal mémorisé
(déterminé automatiquement), il faut mettre lʼin-
terrupteur DIP N°1 sur la position ON↓.
5) Reliez les blocs secteur livrés respectivement
avec la fiche dʼalimentation “DC 5 V” (2) à
lʼémetteur et au récepteur et à une prise secteur
Lorsque les appareils sont définitivement
retirés du service, vous devez les déposer
dans une usine de recyclage de proximité
pour contribuer à leur élimination non pol-
luante.
230 V~/50 Hz. Les appareils sont alors allumés ;
les témoins de fonctionnement ON (3) brillent.
Aucune alimentation propre nʼest nécessaire
pour le récepteur pour une longueur de câble
jusquʼà 30 m, il est alimenté via le câble donnée
de lʼémetteur. Le témoin de fonctionnement ON
du récepteur ne brille que si un bloc secteur est
relié.
Pour éviter toutes interférences de transmission,
lorsque vous posez le câble, assurez-vous que la
distance avec des appareils ou câbles avec
champs magnétiques (par exemple four micro-
ondes, émetteurs sans fil, câble secteur) soit suffi-
sante.
3.1 LEDs des prises LINK

tions suivantes :

Set di trasmissione HDMI™
Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti
istruzioni prima della messa in funzione e di con-
servarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d'impiego
Questo sistema di trasmissione, composto da due
convertitori di segnali, permette la trasmissione
di segnali HDMI™ per mezzo di un cavo per rete
Cat-5 o Cat-6. La lunghezza del cavo di collega-
mento può andare fino a 30 m con una risoluzione
di 1080p. I convertitori di segnali sono compatibili
con lo standard HDMI™ 1.3 e supportano i segnali
3D. Con l'aiuto di un adattatore HDMI™-DVI è pos-
sibile anche la trasmissione di un segnale DVI.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Gli apparecchi (convertitori e alimentatori) sono
conformi a tutte le direttive rilevanti dellʼUE e per-
tanto portano la sigla .
Si devono osservare assolutamente anche i
seguenti punti:
GUsare gli apparecchi solo allʼinterno di locali e
proteggerli dall'acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi
d'acqua, da alta umidità dell'aria e dal calore
(temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
GNon mettere in funzione i convertitori e staccare
subito il relativo alimentatore dalla rete se:
1. uno degli apparecchi presenta dei danni visi-
bili;
2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste
il sospetto di un difetto;
3. gli apparecchi non funzionano correttamente.
Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad unʼoffi-
cina competente.
GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso acqua o
prodotti chimici.
GNel caso dʼuso improprio, di collegamenti sba-
gliati, dʼimpiego scorretto o di riparazione non a
regola dʼarte degli apparecchi, non si assume
nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni con-
sequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume
nessuna garanzia per gli apparecchi.
Se si desidera eliminare gli apparecchi
definitivamente, consegnarli per lo smalti-
mento ad un'istituzione locale per il rici-
claggio.
AVVERTIMENTO Gli alimentatori sono alimentati
con pericolosa tensione di rete.
Non intervenire mai personal-
mente al loro interno. La mani-
polazione scorretta può provo-
care delle scariche elettriche
pericolose.
3 Montaggio e messa in funzione
I convertitori di segnali possono essere fissati, per
esempio ad una parete, per mezzo dei due angoli
di montaggio (1) e con l'aiuto di viti.
1) Collegare la fonte audio/video con la presa
HDMI IN (4) sul lato anteriore del trasmettitore
Transmitter.
2) Collegare il dispositivo che serve per elaborare
il segnale (p. es. un monitor) con la presa HDMI
OUT (7) sul lato anteriore del ricevitore Receiver.
3) Collegare le prese LINK (6) del tipo RJ45 (8P8C)
sul retro del trasmettitore e del ricevitore per
mezzo di un cavo Cat-5 o Cat-6 non schermato
(UTP) [p. es. “CAT-5100UTP” di MONACOR].
I contatti dei connettori RJ45 devono essere col-
legati direttamente.
Risoluzioni possibili delle immagini:
Cat-6, lunghezza del cavo fino a 20 m: 1080p
Cat-5, lunghezza del cavo fino a 30 m: 1080p
4) Per scegliere uno dei due formati preimpostati
dei segnali, sul Transmitter portare il dip-switch
(5) n. 1 in posizione OFF↑e con lo switch n. 2
scegliere il formato:
OFF↑Video: 1080i, canali audio: 2, LPCM
ON↓Video: 1080p, canali audio: 5.1, LPCM
Se il monitor utilzzato richiede un formato diffe-
rente è possibile stabilirlo automaticamente. In
questo caso occorre collegare il monitor tempo-
raneamente con l'ingresso HDMI IN (4) del
Transmitter e eseguire i seguenti passi.
a) Portare il dip-switch n. 1 in posizione ON↓.
b) Accendere il monitor.
c) Collegare uno degli alimentatori a spina in
dotazione con la presa “DC 5 V” (2) sul tras-
mettitore e inserirlo in una presa di rete
(230 V~/50 Hz). La spia di funzionamento
ON (3) del trasmettitore si accende breve-
mente e inizia poi a lampeggiare. Il formato
del segnale ricevuto dal monitor è ora memo-
rizzato nel trasmettitore.
d) Separare il trasmettitore nuovamente dall'ali-
mentazione.
e) Collegare il monitor nuovamente con l'uscita
HDMI OUT (7) del ricevitore e collegare la
fonte di segnali con l'ingresso HDMI IN (4)
del trasmettitore.
Per utilizzare il formato memorizzato (determi-
nato automaticamente) dei segnali, il dip-switch
n. 1 deve trovarsi in posizione ON↓.
5) Collegare gli alimentatori in dotazione con le
prese “DC 5 V” (2) sul trasmettitore e sul ricevi-
tore e inserirli in una presa di rete (230 V~/
50 Hz). A questo punto, gli apparecchi sono atti-
vati e le spie di funzionamento ON (3) sono
accese.
Fino a una lunghezza del cavo di 30 m, il ricevi-
tore non richiede nessun alimentatore proprio
perché è alimentato dal trasmettitore tramite il
cavo dati. La spia di funzionamento ON del rice-
vitore è accesa solo se è collegato un alimenta-
tore.
Per evitare delle interferenze durante la trasmis-
sione, mentre si posano i cavi rispettare una
distanza sufficiente da apparecchi o fili con campi
magnetici (p. es. fornelli a microonde, trasmettitori
radio, cavi rete).
3.1 LED delle prese LINK
I LED delle prese LINK (6) hanno i seguenti signi-
ficati:

Giallo: non ci sono dati video oppure formato del
segnale sbagliato
