HDMI preamble
English
HDMI products still undergo a rapid technological development. It may
happen that especially older HDMI 1.1 products show compatibility
issues with new up to date HDMI 1.3 products. Whenever similar
problems show up you should contact the product suppliers and check if
firmware updates are available for the older products. However, if this
cannot solve the problems there may be no other solution than
exchanging the old with new equipment.

Weiterentwicklung. Es kann vorkommen, dass besonders ältere HDMI
1.1 Produkte Inkompatibilitäten mit neuen HDMI 1.3 Produkten zeigen.
Bei Auftreten solcher Probleme sollte zuerst nach Firmwareupdates für
die älteren Geräte beim Lieferanten oder Hersteller nachgefragt werden.
Falls sich damit die Probleme nicht lösen lassen kann es erforderlich
sein, das alte Equipment über kurz oder lang zu ersetzen.

Les produits HDMI suivent le développement de la technologie. Il peut
arriver que d’anciens produits HDMI 1.1 aient des incompatibilités avec
les nouveaux produits HDMI 1.3. Lors de tels problèmes, merci de
contacter le fabricant et de voir s’il existe des mises à jour du firmware
pour les anciens produits. S’il n’y en a pas, il faudra alors remplacer vos
anciens produits HDMI.

E’ probabile che vecchi dispositivi HDMI 1.1 siano comunque compatibili
con prodotti HDMI 1.3 di ultima generazione. In ogni caso per eventuali
problemi potete rivolgervi ai produttori di questi vecchi dispositivi HDMI e
richiedere eventuali aggiornamenti del firmware. Se non dovessero
essere disponibili aggiornamenti l’unica soluzione è quella di sostituire i
vecchi dispositivi con altri di ultima generazione.

Thank you for purchasing the LINDY 4x2 Port HDMI Switch Classic. This
switch allows you to connect four HDMI source devices to two HDMI sink
devices like monitor, TV or projector and then switch between them using
a push button or the remote control. However, it is not possible to switch
one input channel to both outputs at the same time!
The maximum recommended cable transmission distance is 7.5m from
the source to the Switch or from the Switch to the display. Longer
distances up to 15m may be possible but this does depend on the quality
of the source, the display and the connecting cables. We recommend
you use LINDY Premium Gold cables for the best possible performance.

Connection and Operation
1. Connect the included power supply
2. Connect HDMI cables from your display into the HDMI Output port
on the switch and from the HDMI source devices to the HDMI input
ports.
3. Select the desired input for either output 1 or output 2 by pressing
either the front panel or the remote control push button
4. Please note that one input cannot be switched to both outputs at the
same time!

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf des LINDY 4x2 Port HDMI Switch
Classic. Dieser Switch erlaubt den Anschluss von 4 HDMI Geräten an
den Eingängen und zwei HDMI Geräte an den Ausgängen. Umgeschaltet
wird über die Tasten am Gerät oder per Fernbedienung. Bitte beachten
Sie, dass ein Eingangssignal nicht gleichzeitig auf beide Ausgänge
geschaltet werden kann!
Die empfohlene maximale Kabellänge beträgt 7,5m sowohl an den
Eingängen wie auch an den Ausgängen. Größere Kabellängen bis 15m
sind durchaus möglich und hängen sehr von der Qualität der
Signalquellen sowie der der Empfänger/Monitore ab. Für beste
Ergebnisse auch bei großen Kabellängen empfehlen wir LINDY Premium
Gold HDMI Kabel.

Anschluss und Bedienung

Merci d’avoir acheté le switch LINDY 4x2 ports HDMI. Ce switch permet
de connecter 4 sources HDMI vers 2 écrans/projecteurs/TV HDMI, puis
de commuter entre eux en utilisant un bouton poussoir ou la
télécommande. Cependant, il n’est pas possible de commuter une entrée
vers 2 sorties en même temps!
La distance maximale recommandée de câble est de 7.5m, entre la
source et le switch ou entre le switch et l’écran. De plus longues
distances jusqu’à 15m sont possibles mais cela dépend de la qualité de
la source, de l’écran et des câbles. Nous vous conseillons d’utiliser les
câbles LINDY Premium Gold pour les meilleures performances.

Connexion et utilisation
1. Connectez l’alimentation fournie
2. Connectez les câbles HDMI de votre écran vers les ports de sortie
HDMI du switch et de la source HDMI aux ports d’entrées
3. Sélectionnez l’entrée désirée pour la sortie 1 ou 2 en pressant le
bouton en façade ou sur la télécommande
4. Merci de retenir qu’une entrée ne peut pas être commutée vers
deux ports de sortie en même temps!

Switch consente di collegare quattro dispositivi HDMI a due monitor o
proiettori HDMI e commutare tramite i tasti sullo Switch o con il
telecomando. Non è possibile inviare il segnale di una sorgente ad
entrambe le uscite nello stesso tempo!
Supporta cavi da 7.5m dalla sorgente allo Switch o dallo Switch al
display. E’ possibile che supporti anche cavi fino a 15m in base alla
qualità del segnale sorgente, al monitor ed ai cavi utilizzati. Consigliamo
l’uso dei cavi LINDY Premium Gold per ottenere le migliori performance
possibili.

Connessioni e messa in funzione
1. Collegare l’alimentatore
2. Collegare i cavi HDMI dalle uscite dello Switch ai Monitor e dai
dispositvi HDMI agli ingressi dello Switch.
3. Selezionare i segnali in ingresso da assegnare all’uscita 1 o 2

Dieses Gesetz verbietet das Entsorgen von entsprechenden, auch alten, Elektro- und
Elektronikgeräten über die Hausmülltonne! Diese Geräte müssen den lokalen
Sammelsystemen bzw. örtlichen Sammelstellen zugeführt werden! Dort werden sie
