Introduction
This document provides instructions for the installation of the ConnectAnywhere® 2.0 All-in-One (AIO)
System Router Kit. The ConnectAnywhere® 2.0 makes it easy to supply high-quality cellular and local
entertainment signals to end customers. This kit is intended for recreational vehicles.
When connected to a OneControl® System, the ConnectAnywhere AIO router allows an end customer to
purchase a data plan to enable RV Remote Control and Monitoring. Depending on the floorplan and devices
supported by the OneControl System, end customers may access comfort, convenience and safety devices
including:
• HVAC
• Power
• Awnings
• Lights
• Water
An end customer controls and monitors devices with the OneControl or OneControl family Mobile App,
available in both App Stores. Data plans are offered by Lippert through a secure nationwide LTE network.
The AIO Antenna supports local radio and TV broadcast signals throughout the RV. This allows OEMs to
install one device to satisfy multiple end customer needs.

Preparation
Prior to Installation
Make sure the mounting surfaces are flat and clean and free of debris and damage.
Make sure that there are no wires, pipes, etc. behind the drilling area before installation.
Selecting a Location
For each floorplan, start by selecting a location for the Router, then the Antenna. Make sure the location meets
the following criteria:
• The Antenna (Fig. 1A) must be installed on the roof (Fig. 1B) directly above the Router (Fig. 1C).
• The Antenna must clear the front of the unit by 30 inches/750mm.
• The Antenna must maintain a clearance 24 inches/600mm to the nearest obstruction and to the end of the roof.
• The Router’s LED must be visible to users, not obstructed or inside cabinets or storage areas.
• The Router should be located toward the center of the unit, allowing even reception throughout the unit.
• 12V power and CAN cables must be to be run to the location.
• If providing radio and local TV signals, COAX cables will need to be run to the location.
NOTE: The front of the Router requires clearance of 3.0 inches/75mm (Fig. 2A) for final installation and
service removal. The front side of the mounting plate, side closest to the cutout area, should have
the available room.

Installation
Install Mounting Plate and Create Saw Hole
1. Separate the mounting plate from the Router by pushing down on the button on the front of the
Router (Fig. 3A), then sliding the mounting plate (Fig. 3B) forward until it pops off.
2. Set the Router aside for later installation.
3. Center the window opening (Fig. 4A) over the desired installation location (Fig. 4B).
4. Mark a 2" circle (Fig. 4C) with a non-permanent marking device in the center of the mounting plate
window.
NOTE: Before drilling, confirm availability of 3.0 inch/75mm clearance area (Fig. 4D).

5. Secure the Mounting Plate to the ceiling with 4 #8 screws (Fig. 5A).
6. Using a drill with a 2” hole saw (Fig, 6A), create a hole in the ceiling (Fig. 6B).
NOTE: Do not let the hole saw go through the roof.

7. Using a small drill bit (Fig. 7A) , drill a pilot hole (Fig. 7B) through the unit’s roof to locate and center the
Antenna. The pilot hole will help ensure alignment between the Antenna and Router.
NOTE: To ensure repeatability across a given floorplan, Lippert recommends fabricating a template to
locate the Router and Antenna. A pilot hole may not be necessary if using a template.
8. The pilot hole will help ensure alignment (Fig. 8A) between the Antenna (Fig. 8B) and Router (Fig, 8C).

Install Antenna
Move to the roof to install the Antenna.
1. Locate the pilot hole.
2. Place the Antenna directly over the pilot hole.
3. With a non-permanent marking device, trace the outline of the Antenna.
4. Set the Antenna aside.
5. With a sharp cutting tool, cross-cut the rubber roof (Fig. 9A).
A. The cuts should be 1¼” long in each direction.
B. Peel the corners of the rubber roof back and drill a 1” hole (Fig. 9B) in the center of the cuts.
NOTE: This is where the cable wires will pass from the Antenna to the Router.
6. Run a CAN line, power line and COAX cables to the
location of the hole (Fig. 10). Let them hang down
inside the unit allowing enough length to reach and
connect to the Router.
7. Thread the Antenna’s cables through the hole in the
roof.
NOTE: Make sure all wires are hanging through the hole
in the unit's ceiling

8. Place the Antenna (Fig. 11A) inside the line traced earlier (Fig. 11B).
9. Using a screw gun, install the #8 screws (Fig. 12A) around the base of the Antenna (Fig. 12B).
NOTE: Set the screw gun to a torque value of 9.5 lbs to avoid damage to the Antenna. Install them in a star
pattern around the edge of the Antenna.

10. Apply line of weatherproof silicon caulk (Fig. 13A) to seal the Antenna (Fig. 13B) to the roof.
COAX Cables Connection
Move back into the unit to connect the COAX cables and install the Router.
A. If the Antenna is to provide radio and local TV broadcasts, connect the COAX cables:
• The black cable is for radio.
• The white cable is for TV.
• Tuck the cables into the hole in the ceiling.
B. If the AIO does not need to provide radio and TV signals, tuck the unused COAX cables into the
ceiling.

Install Router
1. With the mounting plate secured, plug cables into their appropriate ports (Fig. 14).
A. Connect the CAN cable to the “OneControl” port.
B. Connect the LTE cables to the Ant_1 and Ant_2 ports. These cables are interchangeable.
C. Connect the power cable to the power port.
2. Gently tuck the remaining cable slack into the hole in the ceiling or space in front of the ports.
3. Lift the Router (Fig. 15A) up towards the mounting plate (Fig. 15B).
4. Line up the slots on the mounting plate with the positive elements on the Router (Fig. 15C).

5. Slide the Router (Fig. 16A) over the mounting plate (Fig. 16B).
NOTE: Listen for a click when the router is securely in place.
NOTE: There is a release lever on the front of the Router if access to cables, etc. is necessary.
6. Using the button on the side of the Router, turn the device ON (Fig. 17A). When the Router receives
power, the LED will blink red (Fig. 17B).
7. When the LED stops blinking and stays red, it is ready for the user to purchase a data plan and connect
to the Internet.

NOTE: Leave the Router’s box (Fig. 18A) in the unit. The end user will need the label inside to activate their
system (Fig. 18B).
