General information and completness LD Special:
• Multifunctional high-quality stethoscope (type SPRAGUE RAPPAPORT) is designed
for auscultation of heart, lungs, vessels, gastrointestinal tract of adults and children.
• Special completing set provides for 4 working combinations of stethoscope from
ordinary to neonatal.
• Twin metal head (LD-S018), made by special design, with big and small (children)
diaphragms – 1 pc.
Working diameter of big diaphragm – 38 mm, working diameter of small diaphragm
– 25 mm.
Each diaphragm is provided with transparent plastic membrane. Design feature
of head makes it possible to change any diaphragm for bell of needed size.
Diaphragms and bells are attached to the head with the help of thread. Changing
over between working sides is carried out by turn of head round rod valve by 180˚.
Flat side of rod valve points out to working side of head.
Stethoscope in color design “Black Matt” is completed with black mat head
LD-S018bm.
• Two thickened sound-conducting tubes of 56 or 72 cm long (indicated in box) – 1 set.
• Binaural metal tubes with spring and ear tips – 1 set.
Stethoscope in color design “Black Matt” is completed with binaural black mat tube.

• Multifunctional high-quality stethoscope (typ SPRAGUE RAPPAPORT) with quartz
clock built-in into head is designed for: for auscultation of heart, lungs, vessels,
gastrointestinal tract of adults and children.
• Special completing set provides for 4 working combinations of stethoscope from
ordinary to neonatal).
• Twin metal head (LD-S041), made by special design, with big diaphragm and
extension piece with quartz clock – 1 pc. Working diameter of diaphragm – 38 mm.
Diaphragm is provided with transparent plastic membrane.
Design feature of head enables to change both diaphragm and clock to any
extension piece from the set of additional accessories. Diaphragms, clock and bells
are attached to the head by means of thread. Change-over between working sides is
carried out by head turn round rod valve by 180˚ Flat side of rod valve points out to

Change of power cell:
Power cell, type LR 626/377, 1.5 V, is used in clock of stethoscope LD SteTime .
Change of power cell is necessary on the average once a year.
Sequence of power cell change:
Unscrew attachment piece with clock from stethoscope head.1.
Unscrew with the help of coin rear part of attachment piece (Fig. 1).2.
Remove clock (Fig. 2).3.
Using thin screwdriver, pry off and remove clock lid (Fig. 3).4.
Change power cell (type LR 626/377, 1.5 V).5.
Make assembly in reverse order.6.
Clock power cell is recommended to change in specialized clock workshops.
Guarantee for power cell is not applied.
CARE, STORAGE, REPAIR AND DISPOSAL
1. Keep this Stethoscope from exposure to higher humidity, direct sunlight, shocks.
2. Do not keep and use this Stethoscope near heating installations and open fire.
3. Keep the Stethoscope clean and protect it from dust .
4. Do not allow contact with corrosive solutions.
5. Repair the Stethoscope only in authorized organizations, adresses on
Warranty Card.
6. Change clock power cells (for LD SteTime) in specialized clock workshops.

7. Service life of the Stethoscope – 6 years. Year of manufacture is printed on package .
Service life of the power cells ( for LD SteTime) – 1 year.
8. On expiration of the warranted service life apply from time to time to authorized
repair organizations to check the technical condition of the Stethoscope .
9. Dispose of the Stethoscope and its components according to the application
local regulations. No special requirements to disposal of this Unit are defined
by the manufacturer .
10. Operation conditions : temperature from +10°C to +40°C; relative humidity 85% and
lower . Storage and transportation conditions : temperature from -34°C to +50°C; relative
humidity
85% and lower .
WARRANTY
1. The following LD product is covered by warranty for the period specified in the
warranty card.
2. The warranty liabilities are contained in the warranty card given at the sale
of this unit to a purchaser .
CERTIFICATION AND STATE REGISTRATION
This unit manufacturing is certified according to international standard ISO 13485.
Stethoscope comply with the requirements of European Directive MDD 93/42/ЕЕС.
