ADULT BATTERY INSTALLATION REQUIRED.
• Use only size“AAA”(LR03) alkaline batteries (3 required).
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision with batteries removed from
product.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
• Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals.
• Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Open the flap under the puppy to locate the battery compartment.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover.
3. Install three (3) fresh 1.5V AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+)
and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
4. Putting slight pressure on the cover, replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.
5. Close the flap.
The batteries included in your Just Born Puppy™ are for in-store demonstration.
Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries. Here’s how:

QUICK START
1. Before playing with Just Born Puppy™, turn the switch on.
Note:The switch is located on the side of the battery compartment.You will need to pull the compartment
out to locate the switch.
2. Press down on the puppy’s head to wake it up. It will open its eyes and whimper.
3. Use the bottle to feed the puppy making sure the bottle is placed between the nose and mouth. It will
begin to slurp. When you stop feeding, your puppy will burp.
4. Just Born Puppy™ will bark and shortly after will begin to snore.
5. Repeat step 2 to wake it up again.

• Do not immerse in water.
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth and keep moisture away from battery compartment.
• Turn off puppy after use to conserve battery power.
