free of defects in materials or workmanship for one year * from the date of purchase (dated sales receipt is
required for proof of purchase). At the sole election of The Little Tikes Company, the only remedies available
under this warranty will be the replacement of the defective part or replacement of the product.This warranty
is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions.This warranty does not
cover abuse, accident, cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or any other cause not
arising from defects in material and workmanship. *The warranty period is three (3) months for daycare or

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision. Use only size“AAA” (LR03)
alkaline batteries (3required).
• Never mix old batteries with new batteries, rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) or carbon zinc with alkaline batteries.
• Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision with batteries removed from
product.
• Avoid short-circuiting battery terminals.
• Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.

The batteries included in your Catch Me Crabbie™ are for in-store demonstration.
Before playing an ADULT must install fresh alkaline batteries. Here’s how:
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) loosen screw and remove battery
compartment cover from the bottom of the Crabbie. (Fig.1)
2. Install three (3) fresh 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the
(+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery
compartment. (Fig. 1) NOTE: Batteries are layered with one battery
inserted on the bottom layer and the two remaining batteries above it.
3. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.
QUICK START
2. Choose“Low Volume”or“High Volume”on the back of Crabbie (Fig. 2). Start up tones will sound.
3. Place the Crabbie in an open area on a flat, level surface. (Fig. 3)
4. Press down on the top of the Crabbie’s head. Crabbie will travel left or right, claws will open and close and
music will play. (Fig.3)
1. Slide the switch to the volume of your choice.(Fig. 2)
6. Crabbie can “see”you through its“eye.” When it stops and you move close to it,it will“see”you and run away!
NOTES:
• If Crabbie moves across an empty area and no other commands are triggered, Crabbie will scurry across the
floor until the song ends.
• If no action is taken for 30 seconds, Crabbie will go to sleep to save battery power. To wake Crabbie up press
the top of the head again.
• Crabbie’s claws close lightly and do not pose a pinch hazard. If fingers or other objects are caught in Crabbie’s
claws Crabbie will stop moving and music will stop until items are removed.
•Always turn the unit “Off”when not in use to conserve battery power.

5. When Crabbie bumps into a wall or other solid object,it will stop, then move in the opposite direction.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
In the event of a malfunction, reset the item by removing and replacing the batteries.
If function is still not restored, replace the batteries with fresh alkaline batteries.
