BEFORE USING
Thank you for choosing the Living & Co Tapered
Curling Wand. Please read these instructions
carefully before use and keep it in a safe place for
future reference.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
THE APPLIANCE’S BARREL WILL BECOME VERY HOT
DURING USE. AVOID CONTACT WITH THE SKIN. MAKE
SURE THAT THE SUPPLY CORD NEVER COMES INTO
CONTACT WITH THE HOT PARTS OF THE APPLIANCE.
The appliance must be unplugged:
-before cleaning and maintenance procedures.
-if it is not working correctly.
-as soon as you have finished using it.
-if you leave the room, even momentarily.
Check that the voltage of your electricity supply
matches the voltage of your appliance. Any error
when connecting the appliance can cause
irreparable harm, not covered by the guarantee.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

–Burn hazard. Keep appliance out of reach
from young children, particularly during use and
cool down;
–When the appliance is connected to the
power supply, never leave it unattended;
–Always place the appliance with the stand, if
any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
Do not place hair curling iron on soft material e.g.
carpet, bedding, towels, rugs etc.
 WARNING: Do not use this appliance
near bathtubs, showers, basins or
other vessels containing water.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard
For additional protection, the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is
advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask you installer for advice.

OPERATION
Connect the appliance to an electrical outlet and
press the ON/OFF switch (A) to turn the curling
wand on. The LCD screen (B) will light up.
Select the preferred temperature and allow
approximately 5 minutes for the temperature to be
reached before using the appliance.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Your hair must be untangled, clean and dry (in
order not to damage your hair).
Place your curling wand on a flat / stable and
heat resistant surface.
Plug in the appliance and switch it on. Wait for
approximately 3 - 5 minutes until the appliance
reaches the operating temperature.
Part a thin section of hair 2 - 3 cm wide.
Wrap the hair section around the barrel. Wrap
the curl as near to the scalp as possible.
To prevent burns, avoid direct contact with the
scalp.
Hold the hair section in this position for
approximately 20 seconds for tight curls (less than
20 seconds if you wish to have softer curls).

RECOMMENDATIONS (continued)
When you have obtained the required curl, half
unroll the curled section of hair and let the curl
slide out.
Repeat this operation to form a new curl.
For more natural looking waves, carefully comb
your fingers through the curls after letting them
cool.
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance and let it cool on its stand.
Clean the barrel once completely cooled then, wipe
down the handle with a slightly damp soft cloth.
Never use water or any other liquid inside the
handle.
STORAGE
Ensure the appliance is completely cool and dry.
Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as
this will cause damage.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
