SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
- DO NO remove the lid while the water is boiling.
- Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
-Use only cold water when filling the appliance.
- he water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks.
- Insure that the appliance is switched off before removing it
from its stand.
- Avoid any spillage on the connector.
- Heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

Before using for the first time
Prior to initial use, clean it by going through several boiling cycles, using clean water with each cycle and
filling the kettle to its upper marking, the water will reach boiling point after approximately 5minutes,
when the unit switches off automatically.
USE
1. o fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open lid by pressing open lid button (4), fill with the desired
amount of water, and then close the lid. Alternatively, the kettle may be filled through the spout (10). he water
level should not exceed max marks or sit below min level.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that
the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.

Connect the plug into a power outlet. Select the temperature button (- or+), and then press down the On/off
button, the indicator will light up. hen start to boil the water, the kettle will switch off automatically once the water
has reached the selected temperature. (before the water boiled, if you press On/off button again, the electric kettle
stop working)
NOTE: Ensure that the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will not turn off if the water is hot or if the lid is opening.
4. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water carefully.
5. he kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. he kettle may be stored on the power base when not
in use.
6. he kettle has five temperature levels (40 /60/ 70 /80/100). If you want to keep warm the water when the kettle is
working, you can press the → “ ” button→ “On/off” button then keep warm function starts.
NOTE:
1.
Keep warm function only works for 2 hours; Please clean the water by using a dry cloth when the
temperature button surface has water on!
2.
You can add the removable filter to prepare tea; be careful, the tea mustn’t boiled (100° C) .
BOIL-DRY PROTECT
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the
power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water before re-boiling.
CLEANING AND MAIN ENANCE
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled down before
cleaning.
2. o clean the exterior surfaces, slightly wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3. o clean the inner walls of the kettle, use a soft damp cloth or a soft brush to remove the residues

4. Never immerse the jug kettle or its base in water.

6. he appliance has to be descaled regularly to ensure optimum performance. he frequency
depends on the water hardness and the boiling frequency.
If you begin to notice the increase of the noise during boiling, or if the kettle switches off before water
boils, this indicates that descaling is necessary.
Generally, the descaling should be done in the following periodicity:
•If you use soft water, at least once every 6 months.
•If you use hard water, at least once every 3 months.
You can use descaling agent (In this case read carefully the instructions supplied with the product) or with
vinegar mixed with water (1/3 vinegar+ 2/3 water), while respecting the maximum level marked on the
product.
After descaling, rinse the inner of the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
