SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
- DO NOT remove he lid while he wa er is boiling.

- Always ensure ha he lid is igh ly closed.
-Use only cold wa er when filling he appliance.
- The wa er level mus be be ween he MAX. and MIN. marks.
- Insure ha he appliance is swi ched off before removing i

- Avoid any spillage on he connec or.
- Hea ing elemen surface is subjec o residual hea af er use.

Before first use
Clean he inside wi h soap and wa er, rinse and dry horoughly. Clean he ou side of he appliance wi h a
damp clo h and wipe dry.
1. Fill half of he ank of fresh wa er. (wi hou addendum of any produc ).
2. Pu he swi ch on " ON "posi ion The ligh goes on, showing ha wa er begins hea ing up.

4. Remove he ke le of i s base and emp y wa er in a sink and be careful no o splash (risk of
burning).
5. The appliance is ready o be used.
USE
1. Unroll he power cord comple ely.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure he appliance is unplugged from he supply socke and fully cooled down before
cleaning.
2. To clean he ex erior surfaces, sligh ly wipe over wi h a sof damp clo h and dry horoughly.
3. To clean he inner walls of he ke le, use a sof damp clo h or a sof brush o remove he residues

6. The appliance has o be descaled regularly o ensure op imum performance. The frequency
depends on he wa er hardness and he boiling frequency.
-If you begin o no ice he increase of he noise during boiling, or he ke le swi ches off
before boiled, his indica es ha descaling is necessary.
Generally, he descaling should be done in he following periodici y:
Wi h sof wa er, a leas once every 6 mon hs.
Wi h hard wa er, a leas once every 3 mon hs.
