Application
Quick Start Guide
In order to make your cable tie collars re-usable it is important to follow this Quick Start Guide prior to fitting to the animal.
1. Applying the cable tie
Step 1:
You will receive your unit and a second cable tie.
The second cable tie is for making adjustments and to be replaced for re-
deployment.
IMPORTANT: If you do not use the second cable tie to deploy your unit you WILL
NOT be able to re-deploy your transmitter.
Step 2:
Slide the second cable tie through the head of the fixed cable tie. Ensure the teeth
are facing inward.
IMPORTANT: Do not feed all the way through.

Step 3:
Feed the fixed cable tie through the head of the second cable tie.
Step 4:
Start pulling the second cable tie down; then adjust the fixed cable tie to suit the
neck size of the animal.
We recommend you use the second cable tie to make adjustments wherever
possible. Avoid cutting the fixed cable tie excess to allow for future deployments
on larger animals.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to leave a gap between the 2 cable tie heads. This is for
removal for re-deployment.
2. Removing the cable tie
Step 1:
Cut the second cable tie between the 2 heads to remove the collar from the
animal.
IMPORTANT: If the wrong cable tie is cut you will make the unit redundant and
unable to be re-deployed.

Step 2:
Pull the second cable tie down through the fixed cable tie head.
Step 3:
Using fine tweezers or something similar, lift the plastic tab down (as pictured),
then slide the remainder of the second cable tie off the fixed cable tie.
If you plan on re-deploying your LiteTrack collar, you will need more cable ties.
