OPERATING AND MAINTENANGE INSTRUCTIONS
(Read the entire sheet carefully and retain for future reference)
LADDER INSPEGTION
. Upon receipt, inspect each unit immediately for damage incurred during
shipping. lf damage has occurred, sign for ladder as DAMAGED, contact
the freight carrier and the manufacturer immediately. DO NOT USE LADDER.
. lnspect all ladders prior to each use, any ladders damaged or weakened
from any cause SHALL NOT BE USED until repaired or replaced. Ladders
damaged or worn beyond repair shall be destroyed. NEVER climb a damaged ladder.
. lf assembly is required ensure all bracing is properly fitted,
. Ensure that all rubber tips are installed on all legs, Replace all tips that are worn,
. Gheck brake mechanism. All legs must rest firmly on the floor before elimhing.
. Ensure all fasteners are properly tightened.
. Missing or worn labels must be replaced, please contact the manufacturer,
LADDER USE
. All employees shall be instructed by employer in the proper use of the unit,
and shall read the operating instructions before being allowed to use any unit.
. Employees must read and obey all instruction labels attached to the unit.
. Units must not be loaded beyond the weight marked on the label.
. The user shall face the ladder and use the handrail when ascending or
descending. Overreaching while on a unit could cause instability and result in a fall.
. Additional height shall not be gained by the addition of any type of extension
or object being placed on the unit.
. Do not stand on railing or top guardrail. The user shall not ascend farther than
the top step,
. Foreign material such as grease shall be removed from shoes prior to ascent
of a unit.
. Access to or egress from any step or platform from any other elevated surface
shall be prohibited unless the unit has been positively secured against any movement'
. DO NOT USE ladder when occupied.
. DO NOT USE near open electrical circuits, contact with an energized circuit or
conductor will cause an electrical shock.
. DO NOT USE in front of a door unless the door is secured in an open position,
locked or guarded.
. DO NOT USE on an uneven or sloping surface, units are to be used on a flat
level sulface.
. D0 NOT USE if you tire easily are subject to fainting spells, use medicine,
alcohol, or are physically handicapped'

EREGTING THE L]ADDER
2. THIS LADDER IS DESIGITIED FOR USE ON A FLAT LEVEL SURFAGE, INSPECT ALL EQUIPMENT PRIOR
TO USING. NEVER USE EQUIPMENT THAT IS DAMAGED OR DEFEGTIVE.
3. SURVEY THE JOB SITE FOR HAZARDS, HtcH TENSION UIIIRES, ELEGTRICAL GIRGUITS, UNGUARDED
oPENINGS, AND OTHER HAZARDOUS GONDITIONS.

ALL DIRECTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
(KDED & WLED)
These instructions are to be used as a supplement to the RWED Assembly
Instructions, please read these instructions before using this ladder. If you do
not have both sets of these instructions, then please call customer service for
both sets of instructions. Figures for ease of assembly are on the back of this
sheet.
Assembly of the swivel caster assembly to the Ladder
Remove or locate the swivel caster assembly kit and adjuster angle
and fasteners shipped with the ladder.
Using the fasteners, slide bar clamps over mount bar on ea end .Attach
caster & caster mount plate to bottom assembly Slide caster assembly
on to caster mount plate and attach other caster and caster mount to
bottom assembly. Clip onto the piece of angle welded perpendicular
to the pedal assembly in the front, (See Figure 2). DO NOT
OVE,RTIGHTEN THE FASTENER.
Hold the swivel caster adjuster angle and locate the hole that is closest
to the hole on swivel caster wheel assembly.
Attach the angle to the swivel caster assembly using the hole that is
closest to the hole on the angle (See Figure 1). DO NOT
OVERTIGHTEN FASTENER.
By attaching the swivel caster assembly the wheels should have lifted
off the ground approximately 314".
Test the ladder by stepping on the pedal. The swivel caster assembly
wheels should now be touching the ground and you should be able to
spin the ladder about the swivel caster wheeis.
If the swivel caster assembly wheels are still up in the air and you are
not able to spin the ladder about the swivel caster wheels, then you
have to try another hole that will lower the wheels towards the
ground.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTE,N THE BOLTS. THE SWIVEL CASTER
ASSEMBLY WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY IF THESE BOLTS
ARE, OVERTIGHTENED.

5. Attoch center coster odjuster rod to swivel coster wheel ossembly
using the hole on the cehter coster odjuster rod closesito tf,e nof'e
on ihe swivel coster wheel ossembly. DO NOT OVfR TiGHTEN FASTENER.
6. Test lodder by stepping on pedol. The swivel costeiwtieet ossemotu---'

7 - lf the swivel coster ossembly wheels do not support the reor of the
lodder, fosten the center cbster odjuster rod io'the s*Jvel coster wheel
ossembly using o hole thot will lower the wheels of the swivel wheel - -
coster ossembly.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN FASTENERS. THE SWIVEL CASTER ASSEMBTY WItt NOT
WORK PROPERLY IF THESE BOLTS ARE OVER TIGHTENED.
