1. GENERALITÀ
1.1 APPLICAZIONI
La pompa di circolazione viene impiegata per
far circolare dei liquidi negli impianti di riscalda-
mento ad acqua calda.
1.2 CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE
• Fluidi di circolazione:
- Liquidi puliti, non aggressivi e non esplosivi
senza particelle solide o fibre in sospensio-
ne con impurità fino a 5 mg/dm3.
- Massima viscosità cinematica: 10 mm2/s.
Valori più elevati di viscosità del liquido
possono procurare errate regolazioni della
pompa.
Nota: consultarci nel caso di impiego di altri flu-
idi che non siano acqua.
• Dati elettrici: vedere targa dati
• Pressione massima di esercizio: 10 bar
• Prevalenza statica minima a 80°C: 0,5 bar
(0,8 bar per i modelli 65-12 e 80-7)
• Prevalenza statica minima a 95°C: 1,5 bar
• Livello di pressione sonora: 50 dB(A) eccetto
per i modelli 40-9 e 40-11 che hanno un livel-
lo di pressione sonora massimo di 35 dB(A).

2. SICUREZZA
Queste istruzioni vanno lette attentamente pri-
ma di eseguire l’installazione e la messa in ser-
vizio. E’ necessario rispettare in particolar modo
i punti relativi alla sicurezza del materiale per
l’utente intermedio e finale.
2.1 SIMBOLI DELLE CONSEGNE DEL MA-
NUALE
Consegna di sicurezza la cui inosservanza
rischia di essere pericolosa per le persone.
Consegna relativa all’elettricità la cui inos-
servanza rischia di essere pericolosa per
le persone.

2.2 PRESCRIZIONI DI SICUREZZA
La superficie esterna della pompa po-
trebbe essere di temperatura molto ele-
vata.
Sfiatando l’aria della pompa (fig. 2) potrebbe
verificarsi una piccola perdita di acqua calda o
vapore.
Le pompe dovranno essere collegate
elettricamente secondo le leggi vigenti.
Togliere la corrente elettrica alla pompa
prima di effettuare manovre sul commutatore di
velocità o interventi sulla morsettiera.
3. TRASPORTO E STOCCAGGIO
Al ricevimento del materiale, verificare che esso
non abbia subito eventuali danni durante il tra-
sporto. In caso venga constatato un difetto,
prendere nei debiti tempi e misure utili nei con-
fronti del vettore.
Se il materiale conse-
gnato è destinato ad es-
sere installato successi-
vamente, immagazzinarlo in un locale
asciutto e proteggerlo dagli urti e da ogni
influenza esterna (umidità, gelo, ecc.).
Spostare la pompa con cautela per non alterare
la geometria e l’allineamento degli organi idrau-
lici.
Non sospenderla mai per il cavo elettrico.

4. INSTALLAZIONE
Il personale adibito al
funzionamento, alla
manutenzione, al con-
trollo, all’installazione della pompa deve
essere in possesso delle necessarie qualifi-
che per questo tipo di intervento. Inoltre
l’installatore e/o il manutentore e il loro
personale, dovranno essere a conoscenza
del contenuto del manuale.
4.1 MONTAGGIO
- La pompa deve essere sempre installata con
l’albero in posizione orizzontale. Rispettare il
senso del flusso indicato dalla freccia sul cor-
po (vedi Fig. 1).
- Assicurarsi che le tubazioni siano corretta-
mente allineate e che la pompa e le tubazioni
siano adeguatamente supportate. Si dovran-
no evitare curve strette adiacenti alla pompa.
- Se la pompa è montata su una tubazione ver-
ticale, il flusso deve essere verso l’alto. Se il
flusso è verso il basso si dovrà prevedere uno
sfiato d’aria nel punto più elevato del circuito
prima dell’aspirazione della pompa.
- Non far mai funzionare a lungo la pompa con
saracinesche chiuse.
- Non montare mai il circolatore nel punto più
basso del circuito onde evitare che le impu-
rità presenti nell’impianto si depositino nella
pompa stessa.
- Si raccomanda di montare saracinesche a per-
fetta tenuta sia sulla mandata che sull’aspira-
zione della pompa.
- Lavare bene l’impianto prima del montaggio
della pompa al fine di eliminare i corpi estra-
nei presenti nel circuito che potrebbero bloc-
carlo o comunque danneggiarlo.
4.2 ORIENTAMENTO DELLA MORSETTIERA
Il circolatore non deve mai essere montato con la
morsettiera verso il basso. Se la morsettiera viene
riposizionata ruotando la testa, fare attenzione
che l’O-ring del corpo sia in posizione corretta.
Se necessario, è possibile cambiare l’orientamento
del motore e quindi della morsettiera; svitando le
viti di fissaggio del motore e ruotandolo nella po-
sizione desiderata.

Evitare in modo assoluto di
montare il circolatore con la
morsettiera rivolta verso il
basso (a ore 6) in presenza di acqua fredda
(climatizzazione).
4.3 COLLEGAMENTO ELETTRICO
I collegamenti elettrici devono esse-
re effettuati da un elettricista auto-
rizzato e nel rispetto delle normati-
ve vigenti nel paese.
Consultare la targhetta segnaletica del motore
per le caratteristiche elettriche (frequenza, ten-
sione, corrente nominale).
La pompa non necessita di protezione esterna
ma deve essere effettuato il collegamento a ter-
ra. Le istruzioni relative al collegamento dei cavi
si trovano sui terminali della pompa (Fig. 3).
5. MESSA IN SERVIZIO
5.1 RIEMPIMENTO E DEGASAGGIO
Se il sistema non è riem-
pito d’acqua, il circola-
tore può funzionare in
questa condizione solo per breve tempo,
al fine di evitare danni ai cuscinetti che
sono lubrificati con l’acqua del sistema.
Dopo che il sistema è stato riempito e messo in
pressione, se richiesto e prima dell’avviamento,
sfiatare l’aria dal circolatore togliendo il tappo
situato al centro della targhetta di identificazio-
ne (fig. 2).
5.2 REGOLAZIONI
Esistono 2 modi per regolare la pompa:
- Controllo per seguire specifici valori di pres-
sione differenziale a diverse portate (auto).
Tutte le pompe della famiglia EFLC sono do-
tate di un PLC (Pressure Loss Compensation)
nel sistema di controllo che fa in modo che la
pompa non segua una pressione differenziale
costante, ma segua il decremento di pressione
richiesto al decrescere della portata.

- Controllo per seguire una velocità costante
per sistemi con domanda cosante (1-4).
La regolazione viene effettuata attraverso il se-
lettore posto sulla morsettiera (Fig. 4).

5.3 SEGNALI
Le pompe della famiglia EFLC hanno 2 LED sulla
morsettiera che fungono da indicatori di stato. La
potenza alla pompa è indicata con LED verde. Il
LED rosso indica il verificarsi di un guasto. Il reset
della pompa può essere effettuato disconnetten-
do l’alimentazione per 5 secondi e riconnettendo-
la successivamente (Fig. 5).

5.3.1 Segnali di errore
In caso di guasto la luce rossa nel retro della
morsettiera indicherà il tipo di errore identificato
dall’elettronica.
La luce lampeggerà approssimativamente ogni
minuto per un certo numero di volte (vedi tabel-
la seguente per la descrizione dell’errore).

5.3.2 Relay di errore
La famiglia EFLC ha un relay di errore. Il relay ha sia
la connessione NC sia NO (Fig. 6).
6. MANUTENZIONE
Se la parte motore viene
separata dal corpo della
pompa durante le ope-
razioni di manutenzione o di riparazione,
l’O-ring tra corpo della pompa e tubo di
erogazione deve essere sostituito con un
O-ring nuovo. Nel rimontare la parte mo-
tore, controllare che l’O-ring risulti corret-
tamente inserito.
Se l’albero motore risulta bloccato a causa di un
prolungato periodo di non funzionamento o di
accumulo di impurità, deve essere sbloccato. A
questo scopo inserire un cacciavite attraverso
il foro della valvola di sfiato nella cava alla fine
dell’albero e ruotare.
Nota bene: qualsiasi intervento richiesto alle
parti elettriche interne alla pompa deve essere
effettuato dal personale tecnico Lowara

1. ALLGEMEINES
1.1 ANWENDUNGEN
Die Umwälzpumpe dient zur Wasserzirkulation
in Heiz- und Warmwasseranlagen.
1.2 TECHNISCHE DATEN
• Gepumpte Flüssigkeiten:
- Reine, nicht aggressive und explosive Flüs-
sigkeiten ohne schwebende Feststoffe oder
Fasern, mit Unreinheiten bis 5 mg/dm3.
- Max. zulässige kinematische Viskosität: 10
mm2/s. Höhere Viskositätswerte der Flüs-
sigkeit können zu falschen Pumpensteue-
rungen führen.
Anm.: Bei anderen Flüssigkeiten als Wasser
wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an Lowara.
• Stromdaten: siehe Datenschild.
• Max. Betriebsdruck: 10 bar

2. SICHERHEIT
Die vorliegenden Anleitungen müssen vor der
Montage und Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam
gelesen werden. Insbesondere muss die Einhal-
tung der Sicherheitsvorschriften bzgl. des Mate-
rials zum Schutz des Monteurs und der Betrei-
ber kontrolliert werden.
2.1 SYMBOLE DER BEDIENUNGSANLEI-
TUNG
Sicherheitshinweis, bei dessen Nichtbe-
achtung Gefahr für die Personen besteht.
Sicherheitshinweis betreffend die elektri-
sche Spannung, bei dessen Nichtbeach-
tung Gefahr für die Personen besteht.

beachtung zu Material-
und Betriebsstörungen
führen kann.
2.2 SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Die Außenfläche der Pumpe kann sehr
heiß werden.
Bei Ablassen der Luft aus der Pumpe
(Abb. 2) können geringe Mengen heißes Wasser
oder Dampf austreten.
Die Pumpen müssen gemäß den ein-
schlägigen Gesetzen elektrisch ange-
schlossen werden. Der elektrische Strom
muss vor jeglichem Eingriff am Drehzahlregler
oder am Klemmenbrett abgehängt werden.
3. TRANSPORT UND LAGERUNG
Bei Erhalt des Produktes kontrollieren, dass das
Material während des Transports keine Schäden
erlitten hat. Bei Feststellung von Transportschä-
den sind innerhalb der vorgesehenen Fristen die
notwendigen Schritte beim Spediteur zu veran-
lassen.
ACHTUNG! Wenn das gelieferte Ma-
terial erst zu einem spä-
teren Zeitpunkt instal-
liert werden soll, muss es an einem
trockenen Ort gelagert und vor Stößen
und sonstigen externen Einflüssen (Feuch-
tigkeit, Frost, usw.) geschützt werden.
Beim Handling der Pumpe vorsichtig vorgehen,
um die Geometrie und die Ausrichtung der hyd-
raulischen Teile nicht zu verändern.
Die Pumpe darf auf keinen Fall am Stromkabel
angehoben oder aufgehängt werden.

4. INSTALLATION
ACHTUNG! Das mit dem Betrieb,
der Wartung, Kontrolle
und Installation der
Pumpe beauftragte Personal muss über
die notwendigen Qualifikationen für die
vorgenannten Eingriffe verfügen. Weiters
müssen der Installateur bzw. Wartungsbe-
auftragte und deren Gehilfen das Hand-
buch gelesen und verstanden haben.
4.1 EINBAU
- Die Pumpe muss immer mit der Welle in
waagrechter Position installiert werden. Dabei
ist die vom Pfeil auf dem Pumpenkörper (siehe
Abb. 1) angegebene Flussrichtung zu beach-
ten.
- Sicherstellen, dass die Leitungen korrekt aus-
gerichtet sind und die Pumpe und Leitungen
entsprechend gestützt werden. Enge Biegun-
gen neben der Pumpe sind zu vermeiden.
- Wenn die Umwälzpumpe auf einer senkrech-
ten Leitung montiert wurde, muss der Fluss
nach oben führen. Wenn der Fluss nach unten
läuft, muss am höchsten Punkt des Kreislaufs
vor der Ansaugung der Pumpe ein Entlüf-
tungsventil montiert werden.
- Die Pumpe darf nie längere Zeit mit geschlos-
senen Absperrventilen betrieben werden.
- Die Umwälzpumpe darf auf keinen Fall am
tiefsten Punkt des Kreislaufs montiert wer-
den, weil sich der in der Anlage vorhandene
Schmutz auf der Pumpe selbst ablagern könn-
te.
- Unbedingt perfekt dichte Sperrventile sowohl
auf die Druck- als auch auf die Saugleitung
der Umwälzpumpe montieren.
- Die Anlage vor der Installation der Umwälz-
pumpe sauber reinigen, um allfällige im Kreis-
lauf vorhandene Fremdkörper zu beseitigen,
welche die Pumpe blockieren oder beschädi-
gen könnten.
4.2 AUSRICHTEN DES KLEMMENBRETTS
Die Umwälzpumpe darf auf keinen Fall mit dem
Klemmenbrett nach unten montiert werden. Bei
einer Neupositionierung des Klemmenbretts durch
Drehen des Kopfes ist darauf zu achten, dass der
O-Ring des Körpers immer korrekt angebracht ist.
Falls erforderlich, kann die Ausrichtung des Motors
und dann des Klemmenbretts verändert werden.
Die Feststellschrauben des Motors lockern und die-
sen dann in die gewünschte Stellung drehen.
ACHTUNG! Achten Sie darauf, dass
die Dichtungen des Kör-
pers nicht beschädigt
und wieder korrekt montiert werden.
Auf jeden Fall muss vermieden
werden, dass die Umwälzpum-
pe bei Vorhandensein von kal-
tem Wasser (Klimatisierung) mit dem
Klemmenbrett nach unten (Position 6 Uhr)
montiert wird.
4.3 ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
Die elektrischen Anschlüsse dürfen
nur von qualifiziertem Personal und
gemäß den im Aufstellungsland gel-
tenden Bestimmungen durchgeführt wer-
den.
Für die elektrischen Daten (Frequenz, Spannung,
Nennstrom), bitte auf das Typenschild des Mo-
tors Bezug nehmen.
Für die Pumpe ist kein externer Überlastschutz
erforderlich. Allerdings muss der Erdungsan-
schluss vorgenommen werden.
Die Hinweise zur Kabelverbindung befinden sich
auf den Endverschlüssen der Pumpe (Abb. 3).
5. INBETRIEBNAHME
5.1 BEFÜLLEN UND LUFT ABLASSEN
ACHTUNG! Wenn die Anlage nicht
mit Wasser befüllt ist,
darf die Umwälzpumpe
nur kurze Zeit betrieben werden. Andern-
falls werden die Lager beschädigt, die mit
der Flüssigkeit des Systems geschmiert
werden.
Nachdem das System befüllt und der erforder-
liche Druck aufgebaut wurde, muss – falls er-
forderlich und vor dem Anlassen – die Luft aus
der Pumpe abgelassen werden, indem man den
mittig auf dem Identifizierungsschild (Abb. 2)
angebrachten Stopfen entfernt.

5.2 EINSTELLUNGEN
Für die Pumpe sind zwei Einstellungsarten vor-
gesehen:
- Steuerung zur Erzielung von spezifischen Dif-
ferenzialdruckwerten bei unterschiedlichen
Fördermengen (automatisch). Alle Pumpen
der Familie EFLC sind mit einer PLC-Einrich-
tung (Pressure Loss Compensation) im Kon-
trollsystem ausgestattet, welche dafür sorgt,
dass die Pumpe nicht einen konstanten Diffe-
rentialwert liefert, sondern die bei abnehmen-
der Fördermenge erforderliche Druckvermin-
derung vornimmt.
- Steuerung zur Erzielung einer konstanten Ge-
schwindigkeit bei Systemen mit einem gleich-
bleibenden Bedarf (1-4).
Die Einstellung wird mit dem Wählschalter auf
dem Klemmenbrett vorgenommen (Abb. 4).

5.3 SIGNALE
Die Pumpen der Baureihe EFLC verfügen über 2
LED auf dem Klemmenbrett, die als Zustandsan-
zeige dienen. Die Spannung in der Pumpe wird
von der grünen LED angezeigt. Die rote LED zeigt
eine Fehlfunktion an. Die Pumpe wird durch Ab-
trennen der Speisung für 5 Sekunden und erneu-
tes Anschließen rückgestellt (Abb. 5).

5.3.1 Fehlermeldungen
Bei allfälligen Fehlern zeigt das rote Licht auf
dem Klemmenbrett die Art des von der Elektro-
nik erhobenen Fehlers an.
Das Licht blinkt ungefähr im Minutenabstand
eine bestimmte Anzahl von Malen (siehe nach-
stehende Tabelle mit der Fehlerbeschreibung).

5.3.2 Fehler-Relais
Die Baureihe EFLC ist mit einem Fehler-Relais aus-
gestattet. Das Relais hat sowohl NC- als auch NO-
Verbindung (Abb. 6).
6. WARTUNG
ACHTUNG! Muss der Motor für
Wartungs- oder Repara-
tureingriffe vom Pum-
penkörper getrennt werden, so ist der O-
Ring zwischen Pumpenkörper und
Zuleitung durch einen neuen O-Ring zu er-
setzen. Bei Wiederanbringen des Motors
ist sicherzustellen, dass der O-Ring korrekt
eingelegt wurde.

Sollte die Motorwelle aufgrund längeren Still-
stands der Pumpe oder durch Unreinheiten blo-
ckiert sein, so muss sie vor dem Betrieb befreit
werden. Hierzu führt man einen Schraubenzie-
her durch die Öffnung im Entlüftungsventil in
den Hohlraum bis zur Welle ein und dreht diese.
Anm.: Jeglicher Eingriff an den elektrischen In-
nenteilen der Pumpe muss vom technischen Per-
sonal der Lowara vorgenommen werden.

1. GENERAL
1.1 APPLICATIONS
The circulation pump is used to circulate liquids
in hot-water heating systems.
1.2 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Pumped fluids:
- Clean, non-aggressive, non-explosive and
solid-/fibre-free liquids with impurities up
to 5 mg/dm3.
- Maximum kinematic viscosity: 10 mm2/s.
Higher viscosity values can lead to incorrect
pump adjustments.
N.B.: contact us before using fluids other than
water.
• Electrical specifications: see rating plate
• Maximum operating pressure: 10 bar
• Minimum static pressure at 80°C: 0.5 bar
(0.8 bar for models 65-12 and 80-7)

2. SAFETY
Please read these instructions carefully before
installation and start-up. In particular, make
sure that the points concerning the safety of
the material for intermediate or final users are
observed.
2.1 MANUAL WARNING SYMBOLS

2.2 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The outer surface of the pump may be
very hot.
When venting the air from the pump
(fig. 2), a small amount of hot water or steam
may leak.
The pumps must be electrically connect-
ed according to current law. Disconnect
the pump from the mains power supply
before moving the speed switch or working on
the terminal block.
3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
Make sure the material has not suffered damage
during transport upon receipt. If any damage is
found, take action against the carrier in good
time.
ATTENTION If the delivered material
is planned to be in-
stalled at a later stage,
store it in a dry area and protect it from
impact and from the weather (humidity,
frost, etc.).
Move the pump with care so as not to alter the
shape and alignment of the hydraulic compo-
nents.
Never hang it from its power cable.

4. INSTALLATION
ATTENTION Staff operating, servic-
ing, inspecting and in-
stalling the pump must
possess the necessary qualifications for
this type of work. The installer and/or
maintenance firms and their staff must be
familiar with the contents of this manual.
4.1 ASSEMBLY
- Always install the pump with the shaft hori-
zontal. Observe the direction of flow indicat-
ed by the arrow on the body (see Fig. 1).
- Make sure the pipes are correctly aligned and
that the pump and pipes are suitably support-
ed. Avoid tight curves near the pump.
- If the pump is mounted on vertical piping,
the flow must go upwards. If the flow goes
downwards, fit an air vent in the highest point
of the circuit before the pump inlet.
- Never allow the pump to work for a long time
with the dampers closed.
- Never mount the circulator at the lowest part
of the circuit as otherwise the impurities in the
system may deposit in the pump.
- Mount perfectly airtight dampers on both the
delivery and inlet lines of the pump.
- Wash the system well before mounting the
pump in order to eliminate the foreign bod-
ies in the circuit that could jam or otherwise
damage it.
4.2 DIRECTION OF TERMINAL BLOCK
Never mount the circulator with the terminal block
facing downwards. If the terminal block is repo-
sitioned by turning the head, make sure that the
O-ring of the body is in the correct position.
If necessary, change the direction of the motor
and, consequently, the terminal block by loosen-
ing the screws securing the motor and turning it
to the required position.
ATTENTION

age the gasket of the
body and remount it

Never mount the circulator
with the terminal block fac-
ing downwards (6 o'clock) in
the presence of cold water (conditioning).
4.3 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Electrical connections must be
made by an authorised electrician
and in observance of the regula-
tions in force in the country.
Consult the motor rating plate for the relative
electrical specifications (frequency, voltage, rat-
ed current).
The pump does not require external protection
but it must be earthed.
The instructions for connecting the cables can
be found on the pump terminals (fig. 3).
5. START-UP
5.1 FILLING AND VENTING
ATTENTION If the system is not filled
with water, only oper-
ate the circulator for a
short time in order to prevent damage to
the bearings as these are lubricated with
system water.
After the system has been filled and pressurised,
if required and before start-up, vent the air from
the circulator by removing the cap in the centre
of the identification plate (fig. 2).
5.2 ADJUSTMENTS
There are 2 ways of adjusting the pump:
- Control for following specific differential pres-
sure values at different flow rates (auto). All
EFLC pumps are fitted with a PLC (Pressure
Loss Compensation) in the control system
which prevents the pump from following a
constant differential pressure and makes it
follow the pressure reduction required as flow
decreases.
- Control for following a constant speed for sys-
tems with constant demand (1-4).
Adjustment is performed using the switch on
the terminal block (fig. 4).

5.3 SIGNALS
All EFLC pumps have 2 LED's on the terminal block
which act as status indicators. The green LED
shows the pump is powered. The red LED shows
a fault has occurred. Reset the pump by discon-
necting the power supply for 5 seconds and then
reconnecting it (fig. 5).

5.3.1 Error signals
In case of a fault the red light at the back of the
terminal block indicates the type of error identi-
fied by the electronics.
The light flashes approximately for a certain
number of times every minute (see following
table for error descriptions).

5.3.2 Error relay
All EFLC pumps have an error relay. This relay has
both an NC and an NO connection (fig. 6).
6. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION If the motor part is sep-
arated from the pump
body during mainte-
nance or repair work, replace the O-ring
between the pump body and the delivery
pipe. When remounting the motor part,
make sure the O-ring is correctly inserted.
If the motor shaft is jammed following a long
period of inactivity or due to the build-up of im-
purities, it must be released. Fit a screwdriver
through the hole in the vent valve and into the
slot at the end of the shaft and turn.
N.B.: any work on the electrical components in-
side the pump must be performed by Lowara
technical staff.

1.1 APPLICATIONS
Le circulateur est utilisé pour faire circuler des
liquides dans les installations de chauffage à eau
chaude.

2. SÉCURITÉ
Les présentes directives doivent être lues atten-
tivement avant l’installation et la mise en service

respecter les points relatifs à la sécurité du maté-
riel pour l’utilisateur intermédiaire et final.

2.2 PRESCRIPTION DE SÉCURITÉ
La surface externe de la pompe pourrait
atteindre une température très élevée.
Lors de la purge de l’air de la pompe (fig.
2), une petite quantité d’eau chaude ou de va-
peur pourrait s’écouler.
Les pompes doivent être raccordées à
l’alimentation électrique de manière par-
faitement conforme à la législation en
vigueur. Interrompre l’alimentation électrique
de la pompe avant toute intervention sur le
commutateur de vitesse ou sur le bornier.
3. TRANSPORT ET STOCKAGE
Á réception du matériel, vérifier que celui-ci n’a
pas été endommagé pendant le transport. Si
des dommages sont constatés, effectuer la dé-
claration appropriée auprès du vecteur dans les
temps et selon les modalités prévues.
ATTENTION ! Si le matériel livré doit
être installé à une date
ultérieure, il devra être
stocké dans un endroit sec et être protégé
contre les chocs et les influences exté-
rieures (humidité, gel, etc.).
Déplacer la pompe en prenant toutes les précau-
tions nécessaires pour ne pas altérer la géomé-

trie et l’alignement des organes hydrauliques.
Ne jamais suspendre la pompe au moyen de son
câble électrique.
4. INSTALLATION
ATTENTION ! Le personnel chargé du
fonctionnement, de
l’entretien et du
contrôle de l’installation de la pompe doit
être qualifié pour l’exécution de ce type
d’intervention. L’installateur et/ou les tech-
niciens d’entretien et le personnel devront
en outre prendre connaissance du contenu
du présent manuel.
4.1 MONTAGE
- La pompe doit toujours être installée avec
l’arbre in position horizontale. Respecter le
sens de passage indiqué de la flèche sur le
corps (voir Fig. 1).
- S’assurer que les canalisations sont correcte-
ment alignées et que tant la pompe que la
canalisation sont correctement soutenues. La
canalisation ne doit pas présenter de courbes
serrées à proximité de la pompe.
- Si la pompe est installée sur une canalisa-
tion verticale, le flux du fluide doit être dirigé
vers le haut. Si le flux est dirigé vers le bas, il
sera nécessaire de prévoir un évent de purge
de l’air placé au point le plus élevé du circuit
avant l’aspiration de la pompe.
- Le circulateur ne doit pas fonctionner long-
temps avec les vannes fermées.
- Le circulateur ne doit pas être monté au point
le plus bas du circuit, pour éviter que les im-
puretés présentes dans l’installation se dépo-
sent dans la pompe.
- Il est recommandé d’installer des vannes par-
faitement étanches tant sur le refoulement
que sur l’aspiration de la pompe.
- Laver soigneusement l’installation avant d’ins-
taller la pompe, pour éliminer tous les corps
étrangers présents dans le circuit qui pour-
raient l’endommager ou provoquer des blo-
cages.
4.2 ORIENTATION DU BORNIER
Le circulateur ne doit jamais être installé avec le
bornier dirigé vers le bas. Si le bornier est repo-
sitionné en faisant tourner la tête, s’assurer que
le joint torique du corps se trouve dans la bonne
position.
En cas de besoin l’orientation du moteur, et donc
du bornier peut être modifié : dévisser les vis de
fixation du moteur et tourner le moteur dans la
position désirée,
ATTENTION ! Prendre soin de ne pas
endommager le joint du
corps et le remonter
correctement.
Le circulateur ne doit en au-
cune circonstance être installé
avec le bornier orienté vers le
bas (à 6 heures) en présence d’eau froide
(climatisation).
4.3 RACCORDEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE
Les raccordements électriques doi-
vent être effectués par un électri-
cien agréé et en pleine conformité
avec les nomes en vigueur dans le pays
d’installation.
Voir la plaque signalétique du moteur pour les
caractéristiques électriques (fréquence, tension,
intensité nominale).
La pompe n’a pas besoin d’une protection ex-
terne mais il est indispensable qu’elle soit rac-
cordée à la terre.
Les instructions relatives au raccordement des
câbles sont indiquées sur les terminaux de la
pompe (fig. 3).
5. MISE EN SERVICE
5.1 REMPLISSAGE ET DÉGAZAGE
ATTENTION ! Si le système n’est pas
rempli d’eau, pour évi-
ter d’endommager les
coussinets qui sont lubrifiés par l'eau du
système, le circulateur ne pourra fonction-
ner que pendant une durée réduite.
Après le remplissage et la mise en pression, il
pourra s’avérer nécessaire de purger l’air du cir-
culateur avant de procéder à la mise en service.
Pour purger l’air, enlever le bouchon situé au
centre de la plaque d’identification (fig. 2).

5.2 RÉGLAGES
Le réglage de la pompe peut être effectué de
deux manières différentes :
- Commande pour suivre des valeurs de pres-
sion différentielle spécifiques à différents dé-
bits (auto). Le système de contrôle de toutes
les pompes de la famille EFLC inclut un API
(Pressure Loss Compensation) qui fait en sorte
que la pompe ne suive pas une pression dif-
férentielle constante mais suive au contraire la
diminution de la pression demandée lorsque
le débit diminue.
- Commande pour suivre une vitesse constante
pour les systèmes à demande constante (1-4).
Le réglage est effectué au moyen du sélecteur
situé sur le bornier (fig. 4).

5.3 SIGNALISATIONS
Les pompes de la famille EFLC sont équipées de 2
diodes électroluminescentes situées sur le bornier
faisant office d’indicateur d’état. La diode verte
indique que la pompe est sous tension. La diode
rouge signale les dysfonctionnements.
Pour réinitialiser la pompe, déconnectez l’alimenta-
tion pendant 5 secondes et reconnectez-la (fig. 5).

5.3.1 Signalisation des erreurs
En cas de dysfonctionnement, le type d’erreur
détecté par le système électronique est signalé
par la diode rouge située à l’arrière du bornier.
Le dysfonctionnement est identifié au moyen du
nombre des clignotements de la diode. La signa-
lisation est répétée environ toutes les minutes.

5.3.2 Relais d’erreur
Les pompes de la série EFLC sont équipées d’un
relais d’erreur. Le relais a tant une connexion NF
qu’une connexion NO (fig. 6).
6. ENTRETIEN
ATTENTION ! Le joint torique situé
entre le corps de la
pompe et la canalisa-
tion de refoulement devra être remplacé
par un joint neuf chaque fois que la partie
moteur sera séparée du corps de la pompe
pour des opérations de maintenance ou de
réparation. Lors du remontage de la partie
moteur, s’assurer que le joint torique est
correctement installé.

Si l’arbre moteur se trouvait grippé, à cause
d’une longue inactivité ou d’une accumulation
de magnétite ou d’autres impuretés, il pourra
être débloqué à l’aide d’un tournevis : faire pas-
ser le tournevis dans l’orifice de purge et l’insé-
rer dans la fente située à l’extrémité de l’arbre.
Remarque : les interventions sur les compo-
sants électriques internes de la pompe ne doi-
vent être effectuées que par des techniciens de
Lowara.
