6. Offer the whole unit up to the boom and screw into place using the 3 bolts situated in the end of the boom.
7. Using a spirit level check the projector plate is level both (A) parallel to the wall and (B) parallel to the
boom. Lightly tighten the securing bolts in place
8. Consult the dimension chart in the manufacturer’s instruction manual to establish the optimum distance
between the front of the projector and the board.
Slacken the two securing screws on top of the boom, slide the boom out to achieve the correct distance
and lightly lock the screws in place. Recheck that steps 8 to 10 are still aligned
9. If a very large board is being mounted, it is possible to achieve extra throw distance by mounting the
projector on the plate in the opposite direction, i.e. arrow facing the wall.
10. You can now proceed with your board mounting in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
11. If the standard security cable kit has been purchased, loop the large end stopper end of the cable round
the security bar on the projector as shown. Using the oval loop thread the cable back up to make a
lasso.
