The detector base in fl ush mounting design (fi g. A) ac-
commodates automatic fi re detectors Series XP95 and
Discovery for use in ADM loops with Apollo/Discovery
protocol. It is specially designed for mounting in false
ceilings made of mineral fi bre.
The detector address is selected by means of a code
card in the detector base. Therefore the detector can
be changed without additional tools. The package con-
tents includes a cover plate.

Conduit box for surface mounting
The Conduit Box SZA-45681-204 (fi g. C) is a supple-
ment to the detector bases Series 65, XP95, Discovery
and Orbis for surface mounting and serves to easily
insert cable conduits or thick cables. The conduit box is
prepared for PG screw connections.

The plastic plate (fi g. D) is a supplement to the detector
bases Series 65, XP95, Discovery and Orbis and pro-
tects the mounting area from dust and dirt.
Specifi cations
Address cards
The code card (fi g. E) serves to assign the physical
address of an automatic fi re detector Series XP95 or
Discovery, or a loop-powered strobe Series XP95, in
the detector base. The address can be set as a binary
number between 1 and 126 by removing some of the
pips. One package contains 100 address cards in un-
coded condition.

Detector mounting bracket
The Detector Mounting Bracket MMW1-1 (fi g. F) is made
of galvanised steel sheet and serves for the lateral
mounting of an automatic fi re detector, e.g., in false
fl oors, elevator shafts or shelves. The bracket provides
all threaded holes needed for easy mounting of a de-
tector base.
