or using the Shower Chair. If you do not understand any part of these warnings,
cautions or instructions, contact a healthcare professional for direction in the
use of this product. If the Shower Chair is not properly assembled and adjusted,
personal injury and damage to the Shower Chair could result.
WARNING: This product should not be used without proper instruction from a
healthcare professional.
WARNING: If components are damaged or missing, contact your Graham-Field
authorized distributor immediately. DO NOT use substitute parts. Use only Lumex
replacement parts. Non-Lumex replacement parts could cause personal injury and
damage to the Shower Chair.
WARNING: To avoid possible tilt hazard, do not leave user unattended. Attendant
must always be behind and in control of Shower Chair when user is being
positioned or Shower Chair is in use.
WARNING: Do not operate the Shower Chair on streets or roadways.

INTENDED USE
The Shower Chair is intended for use by individuals who require seating support while
showering, with the approval of a treating physician or authorized medical personnel.
Contraindications
WARNING: This product has the following maximum weight capacity:
89180 Series: 300 lb, EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.
89220 Series: 375 lb, EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.
ASSEMBLY
Remove Shower Chair and components from the box. Place Shower Chair on a at
surface.

Info: Check ALL parts for shipping damage. If shipping damage is noted, DO NOT
use Shower Chair. Contact carrier / dealer for further instruction.
Installing the Backrest Upholstery:

1. Locate the backrest and backrest upholstery.
2. Lay the backrest on a at surface.
3. Slide the backrest upholstery over the backrest tubing as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
4. Attach the hook and loop over the top of the backrest as shown in Fig. 3.

1. Lock the rear casters to prevent Shower Chair from moving during assembly: step on
rear caster lever and press down to lock (to unlock: push up rear caster lever).
2. Locate the channel guides (2 each) on the back side of the chair frame near the seat.
Slide the backrest support tubes into the channel guides as shown in Fig. 4.
3. Ensure the tubes are pressed all the way in and the backrest support tubes are even.
4. Locate the two Phillips head screws.
5. Insert the screws through backrest tube predrilled holes; use a Phillips screwdriver to
tighten screws as shown in Fig. 5.
WARNING: Ensure backrest is securely installed and all hardware is tight before
proceeding.

WARNING: Ensure the Shower Chair is assembled as described and toilet seat is
in downward position before use. If the Shower Chair is not properly assembled
and installed, personal injury and damage to the Shower Chair could result.
Center of Balance During Use
The point where the Shower Chair will tip forward, rearward or sideward is determined
by its center of balance and stability, and the center of balance and stability is affected
by the user’s body position and weight distribution. If you fail to heed the following
warnings, falling or tipping may occur and could cause severe personal injury.
WARNING: To avoid falling or tipping:
Have someone help you until you know the balance points of your Shower Chair
and how to avoid tipping.
DO NOT put downward weight on one armrest at a time. If using the armrest for
balance, hold both armrests at once to distribute your weight equally.
DO NOT put downward weight on the backrest.
DO NOT reach or lean if you must shift your weight to do so. Ask for help or use a
device to extend your reach.
DO NOT try to reach an object if you must move forward in your seat so much
that your buttocks do not stay in full contact with the seat, creating an unsafe
position; your buttocks must remain in full contact with the seat at all times.
DO NOT lean backward to reach an object.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Ensure all Shower Chair components and attaching hardware are
secure before each use.
To clean Shower Chair: use a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clear water, and
then dry with a soft cloth. Ensure that Shower Chair is well rinsed before using.
s NOTICE: DO NOT use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on
any part of Shower Chair.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants to the original retail purchaser or lessee
(either is the “Customer”) only, that it will replace or repair components, at GF’s sole
discretion, that are defective in material or workmanship under normal use and service.
The warranty is for parts only and does not include labor or costs of shipping. All
warranties are conditioned upon the proper use of the product strictly in accordance
with applicable GF instructions. Product provided to users as rentals must be serviced
by the provider and inspected prior to delivery. Each user must be properly trained on
the operation and safety of this product prior to use. Within the guidelines set forth in
this document, the frame is warranted for one (1) year, and all other components are
warranted for six (6) months. The applicable warranty period shall commence from
date of shipment to the Customer, unless there is an expiration date on the component
in which case the warranty shall expire on the earlier of the warranty period or the
expiration date.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
This limited warranty shall only apply to defects that are reported to the Dealer from
whom the Customer purchased the product within the applicable warranty period. If
there is not a Dealer, you must contact GF directly by calling 678-291-3207, sending a
fax request to 770-368-2386 or by e-mailing a request to cs@grahameld.com. Specic
directions will be provided by the Customer Service Representative.
EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover and GF shall not be liable for the following: 1) Defects,
damage, or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident,
freight damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or replacement in a
timely manner; 2) Products not properly installed, used, or cleaned and maintained; and
3) Labor or shipping charges. Other exclusions apply.

USO PREVISTO
La Silla de Ducha está destinado al uso por parte de personas que requieren soporte de
asiento mientras se ducha, con la aprobación de un médico tratante o personal autorizado.
Contraindicaciones
ADVERTENCIA: Este producto tiene la capacidad máxima de peso siguientes:
La Serie 89180: 300 lb, DISTRIBUIDO UNIFORMEMENTE.

MONTAJE
Quite la Silla de Ducha y los componentes de la caja. Coloque silla de baño en una
supercie plana.

Info: Revise todas las piezas en busca de daño de envío. Si se observa daño
de envío, NO use la Silla de Ducha. Contacte transportista / distribuidor para
obtener más instrucciones.
Instalación del Tapizado del Respaldo:

1. Busque el tapizado del respaldo y el respaldo.
2. Coloque el respaldo en una supercie plana.
3. Deslice el tapizado del respaldo sobre el respaldo tubería como se muestra en las
Figs. 1 y 2.
4. Coloque el gancho y lazo sobre la parte superior del respaldo como se muestra en la
Fig. 3.

1. Bloquee las ruedas traseras para evitar que la Silla de Ducha se mueva durante
el montaje: pise la palanca de rueda trasera y presione hacia abajo para bloquear
(desbloquear: empuje la palanca de rueda trasera hacia arriba).
2. Localice las dos guías de canal en el lado posterior de la estructura de la silla cerca
del asiento. Deslice los tubos de apoyo del respaldo en las guías del canal tal como se
muestra en la Fig. 4.
3. Asegúrese de que los tubos se pulsa hasta el fondo y los tubos de apoyo del respaldo
son pares.
4. Localice los dos tornillos de cabeza de cruz.
5. Inserte los tornillos a través los agujeros perforados previamente en los tubos del
respaldo, y use un destornillador de cruz para apriete los tornillos como se muestra
en la Fig. 5.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que el respaldo esté correctamente instalado y
todo la ferretería esté apretado antes de proceder.

OPERACIÓN
La Serie 89180 La Serie 89220
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que la Silla de Ducha se monta tal como se
describe y el asiento está en posición hacia abajo antes de usar. Si la Silla de
Ducha no está ensamblado e instalado en la manera correcta, daño personal y a
la Silla de Ducha puede ocurrir.
Centro de Gravedad Durante Uso
El punto en que la Silla de Ducha se incline hacia delante, hacia atrás o hacia un lado
está determinada por su centro de equilibrio y estabilidad, y el centro de equilibrio y
estabilidad se ve afectada por la posición del cuerpo del usuario y la distribución del
peso. Si no obedece las siguientes advertencias, caerse o volcarse pueden ocurrir y
pueden causar herida personal grave.
ADVERTENCIA: Para evitar caerse o volcarse:
Pídale a alguien que le ayude hasta que conozca los puntos de equilibrio de su
Silla de Ducha y la forma de evitar volcarse.
NO coloque ningún peso a la baja sobre un brazo a la vez. Si se utiliza el brazo
para mantener el equilibrio, sujete los dos brazos a la vez para distribuir el peso
por igual.
NO ponga peso hacia abajo en el respaldo.
NO se estire o incline si debe cambiar su peso para hacerlo. Pida ayuda o utilizar
un dispositivo para ampliar su alcance.
No trate de alcanzar un objeto si debe seguir adelante en su asiento tanto que
los glúteos no se quedan en pleno contacto con el asiento, la creación de una
posición insegura, la región glútea deben permanecer en contacto con seguridad
en todo momento.
NO se incline hacia atrás para llegar a un objeto.
MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que todos los componentes y accesorios de
montaje de la Silla de Ducha estén bien instalados antes de cada uso.
Para limpiar la Silla de Ducha: use un jabón suave y agua, enjuague con agua limpia, y seque
con un paño suave. Asegúrese de que la Silla de Ducha está bien enjuagado antes de usar.
s AVISO: NO utilice disolventes orgánicos, limpiadores abrasivos, o estropajos en
cualquier parte de la Silla de Ducha.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) garantía al comprador original o arrendatario
(cualquiera is el “Cliente”) solamente, que va reemplazar o reparar componentes, a la
decisión solo de GF, cuales son defectos en material o calidad utilizado normalmente y
con servicio. La garantía es para partes solamente y no incluye fuerza laboral o el costo
de transporte. Todas garantías con condicionales por el uso apropiado del producto
estrictamente en acuerdo con las instrucciones aplicables de GF. Producto próvido
a usuarios como réntales deben ser serviciados por el proveedor y inspeccionado
antes de entrega. Cada usuario debe ser preparado en la operación y seguridad de este
producto antes de uso. Dentro las reglas normales en este documento, el marco tiene
una garantía de un (1) año, y todos otros componentes tienen una garantía de seis (6)
meses. El periodo de garantía se comencia en la fecha de transporte al Cliente a menos
que haya una fecha de expiración en el componente en cual la garantía se expira en la
periodo de garantía o la fecha de expiración.
OBTENIENDO SERVICIO DE GARANTÍA
La garantía limitada solamente aplica a defectos reportados al Distribuidor de quien
el Cliente compro el producto dentro el periodo de garantía aplicable. Si no hay
Distribuidor, debe llamar a GF directamente llamando 678-291-3207, mandando fax a
770-368-2386 o por email a cs@grahameld.com. Direcciones especícos se van a dar por
el Representante de Servicio De Clientes.
EXCLUSIONES
La garantía no cubre ni GF será responsable por lo siguiente: 1) Defectos, daño o
otras condiciones causadas por mal uso, abuso, negligencia, alteración, accidente,
daño de transporte o falta de buscar y obtener reparo o repuesto en manera puntual;
2) Productos no instalados, utilizados or mantenidos correctamente; y 3) Cargos de
labor o transporte. Otras exclusiones se aplican.
GARANTÍA ENTERO, REMEDIO EXCLUSIVO Y DESCARGO DE DAÑOS
CONSIGUIENTE
ESTA GARANTÍA ES LA UNICA GARANTÍA DE GF Y ES EN VEZ DE TODAS OTRAS
