Overview
The RadioRA®Large Button Master Control Button
Kits allow the customization of RadioRA Large Button
Master Controls. Button Kits may be used to change
the color and add engraving to clearly identify each
button’s function.

Read all instructions completely before
installation.
Important Notes
Note: Use only Lutron wallplates with these
devices. Non-Lutron wallplates will NOT sit
flush against the wall.
Mounting: Ensure all controls are correctly wired and
mounted before installing button kits or wallplates.
Ensure controls are free from debris (e.g. plaster,
spackling compound) before installing button kits or
wallplates.
Wallplates: Lutron Claro®and Satin ColorsTM
wallplates are recommended for best color match and
clean aesthetic appearance. Do not paint button kits
or wallplates.
Cleaning: To clean, wipe with a clean damp cloth.
DO NOT use any chemical cleaning solutions.
2 Button Master Control Programming: To program
a 2 Button Master Control, install the Programming
Button Kit (RALK-PGM), make the programming
changes, and then reinstall the 2 button kit. Retain
the Programming Button Kit to make future
changes.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Lutron will, at its option, repair or replace any unit that is defective in materials or manufac-
ture within two years after purchase. For warranty service, return unit to place of purchase or
mail to Lutron at 7200 Suter Rd., Coopersburg, PA 18036-1299, postage pre-paid. Telephone
the Lutron Technical Support Center toll free at 800-523-9466. After the two year period, a
pro-rated warranty applies to this product until eight years after the purchase. For more infor-
mation regarding this warranty contact your Lutron representative.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, AND THE
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY IS LIMITED TO TWO YEARS FROM PUR-
CHASE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF INSTALLATION,
REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MISUSE, ABUSE,
OR IMPROPER OR INCORRECT REPAIR, OR DAMAGE FROM IMPROPER WIRING OR
INSTALLATION. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUEN-
TIAL DAMAGES. LUTRON’S LIABILITY ON ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT
OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, INSTALLATION, DELIVERY,
OR USE OF THE UNIT SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE UNIT.

1. Remove wallplate and wallplate adapter from
Master Control (if applicable).
2. Remove currently installed button kit (if applicable).
Remove button kit from Master Control by gently
prying it from the top. See Button Kit Removal.
3. Snap on the button kit by lining up the two tabs on
the bottom of the button kit with the two slots in the
Master Control just above the lower Master Control
mounting screw. Using your thumbs, press in the
bottom, and then snap in the top of the button kit.
4. Attach Lutron Claro®or Satin ColorsTM wallplate
adapter and wallplate.
a. Loosely install Master Control mounting
screws.
b. Tighten wallplate adapter mounting screws
snug.
c. Tighten Master Control mounting screws
until wallplate adapter is flush to wall (do
not over-tighten).
d. Snap wallplate onto wallplate adapter, and
verify that button kit is not submerged.
e. If button kit is submerged, loosen mounting
screws appropriately.
