Switch measurement unit
Press the "UNIT" button to switch the unit between; m, ft
, in. To exit function, press the
/Off Delete button.
The meter can automatically remember the last unit setting.
Selecting reference level
This function allows you to measure with or without the length of meter itself.
Press the button , the symbol will show on the top left comer of screen,
which means entering into selecting of reference level, you can select between 2
reference planes:
The rear edge (e.g. when measuring on-ward from a wall)
The front edge (e.g. when measuring on-ward from a table edge)
Backlight function
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to switch the backlight on/off. When
the backlight function is on, it will automatically turnoff in 16 seconds without any
operation.
Memory function
Press the button , will show on top right corner of screen.
Press the button“+” to browse forward through the saved data.
Press the button“- "to browse backward through the saved data.
NOTE: This meter automatically remember lastest 20 groups data.
The oldest value is labeled as 01 on screen, while the lastest value is labeled as 20
(when 20 memory values are available). When a further value is saved, the oldest
value in the memory will be deleted.
Deleting saved values
Press the button OFF CLEAR, it will delete last measured value in all measuring
functions.
Continuous Measurement (Tracking)
Operate under the length measurement mode. Press and hold the button for 2
seconds,“MAX" and“MIN" will show on the screen, device will begin to buzz, which
means entering into continuous measurement.
As you measure and the laser beam scans across the measuring surface, the
maximum and minimum distance are simultaneously recorded on measured value
lines the result line will display the real-time value.
To return, press the button / OFF CLEAR
Adding/Subtracting Value
Adding/Subtracting values function can be used on distance, area, volume,
pythagoras measurements.
Adding Value
The following example describes the adding of areas:
1. Press the button to start the frst measurement of area value as described in
section "Area Measurement".- Image 1
2. Press the btton"+", symbol "+" will show on the scree.- lmage 2
3. Press the button to start the second area measurement as described in
section "Area Measurement", once the second measurement is completed,
the result of the second area measurement will be displayed on the result

4. To show the nal result, press the measurement button once more, the
accumulated value will show on the result line. - image 4
