Makesureslings,chains,hooks,ramps,jacks,andothertypesof
liftingdevicesareattachedsecurelyandhaveenoughweight‐
bearingcapacitytoliftorholdtheequipmentsafely.


Connectbreakawaysafetylinesecurelytotowingvehicle.
Iffitted,connectsafetychainsinacrossingpatternunderthe

CheckthatwheelnutsareALLtight.
Checkthattheroadrunninglightsareconnectedandoperating,
ifapplicable.
Maximumrecommendedspeedforhighwaytowingis75km/h.
Recommendedmaximumoff‐roadtowingspeedis15km/h(less
onuneventerrain).
Whentowing,maintainextraspacebetweenvehiclesandavoid
softshoulders,curbsandsuddenlanechanges.Ifyouarenot
expertsintow,topracticeinafarfromheavytrafficarea.

Compruebequeelengancheyelacoplamientoenelvehículode
remolqueseandelasdimensionesadecuadasyseanaptospara
el"índicedepesobrutodelvehículo"(GVWR)delremolque.
Noarrastreunremolqueutilizandopiezasdeacoplamiento
defectuosas.
Compruebelosneumáticosdelremolqueencuantoadesgaste,
