How to use this troubleshooting guide
This troubleshooting guide is intended as tool in addition to the troubleshooting chapter in the user manual to identify and possibly correct issues related to the Innowalk.
Where the user or caretaker can execute actions to correct the issue, then this is explained in the “actions” column in the tables below.
In some cases, there is a need to contact service personnel to correct the issue. This is explained in the “Still not fixed” columns below.
Illustrations of the topics and affected parts are found on the following page after the troubleshooting tables in the pages below, where numbers on the illustrations are
reflected onto the numbering in the tables. This is done to ease the identification of the relevant parts.
If you are unsure about how to execute actions related to this troubleshooting guide, then please contact your Made for Movement representative for guidance.
WARNINGS
Under no circumstances shall troubleshooting be executed with the user or any person in the Innowalk.
If issues or errors are discovered and service is required, then the Innowalk cannot be used again before the Innowalk is repaired.
Please keep in mind that the Innowalk need to be controlled and maintained to ensure safe use. This is explained in the user manual.

Check power cable
Visually inspect the power cable for damage. Unplug and insert the power
cable firmly into the machine and into the AC power socket.

Check fuse
Unscrew the fuse holder and visually inspect the fuse. If broken, insert new
fuse according to specification printed on sticker on the switching panel.

external power influences towards the Innowalk (eg.thunderstorms) please
contact your Made for Movement representative for a control of the
product)

Check remote-control connector and
cable
Unplug and plug the remote-control connector. Be aware of the
orientation of the plug. Visually inspect the cable.

Check remote-control
Try all functions on the machine by pushing all buttons on the remote-
control, one by one. Each button shall respond with a “beep” when
pressed.

Try raising and lowering the front tilt by using the front tilt button on
the front cover or side panel. Button responds with a “beep” when

Press and hold “standing up” and “sitting down” buttons on the remote-
control to execute the homing sequence. Important to hold 5 seconds
after the actuator stops moving to finalize the sequence

the remote-control to execute the homing sequence. Important to hold

tightening position) is loose
Check if the end stopper screw is tightened. Tighten if necessary.

Transport hook mechanism
Push the transport hook mechanism all the way to the front by turning the
handle counter clock vice. The hook will distinctly click into locked position.
Check if the transport hook spring is functional. Screw the swinger away and
back. Grab the transport hook lock and pull it backwards. The hook shall be
spring loaded and flip automatically back into locked position.

Knee unfolding mechanism

Knee joint mechanism
If a user is applying extensive force into the calf bows, the knee opening
mechanism can be hard/impossible to open, then pull the index bolt all the
way out and then use two hands to pull the whole joint upwards.

Swing seat mechanism
Control that the index bolt function properly. Pull the knob downwards to
free the index bolt plunger. Let it go and check that the plunger
automatically slips back into locked position.
Control that the locking arm is opening freely. Pull the knob downwards and
to the right of the product. While pulled to the side, try turning the seat to
the left and right.
Control that the locking arm snaps into locket position when released. Pull
the knob downwards and to the right of the product. Let it go and check if
the plunger automatically slips back into locked position.

Ski loose from drive unit arms

The ski should be tight relative
to the rear module.
Open the round side cover by unscrewing the screws. Tighten the nut
holding the skis with a 22mm wrench:
On the left side: It is a left-handed thread on the left side, turn counter-
clockwise to tighten.
On the right side: Normal threads on this side. Turn clockwise to tighten.

Walking function stops when
applying load

Spasm control
NEVER adjust the spasm control without the proper technical and
therapeutistic insight and NEVER without training. Only representatives
approved by Made for Movement are allowed to adjust the spasm control,
as errorous use/adjustment here can injure the user.
