1.4 Angaben zur Geräuschemission
Die angegebenen Werte berücksichtigen nicht eine mögliche Serienstreuung. Sie sind nicht geeignet zur Fest-
stellung des Beurteilungspegels, da diese in Abhängigkeit von der Einsatzzeit, der jeweiligen Bearbeitung und
den Umgebungseinflüssen schwanken. Ein Beurteilungspegel kann deshalb nur beim Maschinenanwender im
Einzelfall ermittelt werden.
1.5 Angaben zur Vibration
Die typisch bewertete Beschleunigung im Hand-Arm Bereich ist kleiner als 2,5 m/s2.
1.6 Lieferumfang
1.7 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Jeder weitere darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus resultie-
rende Schäden jeder Art haftet der Hersteller nicht;
das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.
Ebenso ist diese Maschine nicht geeignet für den
Betrieb bei Regen im Freien oder in explosionsge-
fährdeten Räumen.
Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört
auch die Einhaltung der vom Hersteller vorgeschrie-
benen Betriebs-, Wartungs- und Instandsetzungsbe-
dingungen und die Befolgung der in der Betriebs-
anleitung enthaltenen Sicherheitshinweise.
Die Bohrmaschine HB 2 E darf nur von Personen
genutzt, gerüstet und gewartet werden, die über
18 Jahre alt, mit der Maschine vertraut und über die
Gefahren unterrichtet sind. Instandsetzungsarbei-
ten müssen durch die MAFELL-Vertragshändler
bzw. MAFELL-Kundendienststellen durchgeführt
werden.
Die im jeweiligen Verwenderland geltenden Sicher-
heitsbestimmungen, sowie die sonstigen allgemein
anerkannten arbeitsmedizinischen und sicherheits-
technischen Regeln sind einzuhalten.
Eigenmächtige Veränderungen an der Maschine
schließen eine Haftung des Herstellers für daraus
resultierende Schäden aus.

Holz (max. ∅ 60), in Stahl (max. ∅
16) zum Schrauben in Holz (max.
∅ 10) und in Blech (max. ∅8) vor-
gesehen.

³Bruch des Bohrers.
³ Berühren spannungsführender Teile bei geöffne-
tem Gehäuse und nicht gezogenem Netzstecker.
³Beeinträchtigung des Gehörs bei länger andau-
ernden Arbeiten ohne Gehörschutz.
³Emission gesundheitsschädlicher Stäube bei
der Bearbeitung von Holz, asbesthaltigen Mate-
rialien und Gestein mit kristalliner Kieselsäure.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Allgemeine Hinweise:
³Arbeiten Sie nie ohne die für den jeweiligen
Arbeitsgang vorgeschriebenen Schutzvorrich-
tungen und ändern Sie an der Maschine nichts,
was die Sicherheit beeinträchtigen könnte.
³Kinder und Jugendliche dürfen diese Maschine
nicht bedienen. Davon ausgenommen sind
Jugendliche unter Aufsicht eines Fachkundigen
zum Zwecke ihrer Ausbildung.
³Berücksichtigen Sie Umgebungseinflüsse. Set-
zen Sie die Maschine nicht dem Regen aus und
vermeiden Sie Arbeiten in feuchter oder nasser
Umgebung sowie in der Nähe von brennbaren
Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen.
³Späne oder Splitter dürfen bei laufender
Maschine nicht entfernt werden.
³ Beim Arbeiten in Wand, Decke oder Fußboden
auf elektrische Kabel, Gas- und Wasserleitungen
achten.
³ Beim Einsatz der Maschine im Freien wird die
Verwendung eines Fehlerstromschutzschalters
empfohlen.
³ Beschädigte Kabel oder Stecker müssen sofort
ausgetauscht werden.
³Scharfe Knicke am Kabel verhindern. Speziell
beim Transport und Lagern der Maschine das
Kabel nicht um die Maschine wickeln.
³Staub der bei der Bearbeitung von asbesthalti-
gen Materialien und Gestein mit kristalliner Kie-
selsäure entsteht, ist gesundheitsschädlich.
Beachten Sie die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
VBG 119 der Berufsgenossenschaft.
³Bewahren Sie die Maschine an trockenen, ver-
schlossenen Orten außerhalb der Reichweite
von Kindern auf.
Hinweise zur Verwendung persönlicher
Schutzausrüstungen:
³Beim Arbeiten mit der Maschine stets Schutz-
brille tragen, festes und rutschsicheres Schuh-
werk wird empfohlen.
³ Tragen Sie stets eng anliegende Arbeitskleidung
und legen Sie Ringe, Armbänder und Uhren ab.
Bei langen Haaren Haarschutz tragen.
³Der Schalldruckpegel am Ohr kann 85 dB (A)
übersteigen. Tragen Sie deshalb beim Arbeiten
einen Gehörschutz.
Hinweise zum Betrieb:
³Sorgen Sie für einen freien und rutschsicheren
Standplatz mit ausreichender Beleuchtung.
³Kontrollieren Sie vor dem Einschalten, dass das
Werkzeug richtig eingespannt ist.
³Bearbeiten Sie keine Werkstücke, die für die
Leistungsfähigkeit der Maschine zu klein oder
zu groß sind.
³ Sichern Sie, wenn immer möglich, das Werkstück
gegen Wegrutschen und Umkippen, z. B. durch
Schraubzwingen.
³ Kontrollieren Sie das Werkstück auf Fremdkörper.
³Greifen Sie während des Arbeitens nie unter
das Werkstück (Verletzungsgefahr!).
³ Vor jeder Benutzung Gerät überprüfen. Werden
Schäden festgestellt, Gerät nicht weiter benut-
zen. Reparatur nur von einem Fachmann durch-
führen lassen. Gerät nie selbst öffnen.
Auch bei bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung können trotz Einhal-
tung aller einschlägigen Sicher-
heitsbestimmungen aufgrund der
durch den Verwendungszweck der
Maschine bedingten Konstruktion
noch Restrisiken auftreten, z. B.:
Maschinen können bei unsachge-
mäßen Gebrauch gefährlich sein.
Beachten Sie deshalb stets die in
diesem Kapitel zusammengefassten
Sicherheitshinweise und die Unfall-
verhütungsvorschriften Ihrer Berufs-
genossenschaft bzw. die im jeweili-
gen Land anzuwendenden
Sicherheitsbestimmungen!

³Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel, Einstellarbeiten
und vor dem Beseitigen von Störungen (dazu
gehört auch das Entfernen von eingeklemmten
Spänen) ist der Netzstecker zu ziehen.
³Vorsicht beim Eindrehen langer Schrauben,
Abrutschgefahr.
³Beim Schrauben im 1. Gang bzw. mit kleiner
Drehzahl arbeiten.
³Passen Sie den Vorschub beim Bohren dem
Bohrer-∅ und der Materialstärke an. Zu großer
Vorschub führt zu Überbelastung des Motors, zu
unsauberen Bohrlöchern und zu einem schnel-
leren Abstumpfen des Bohrers.
³Nie bei laufender Maschine an das Werkzeug
greifen.
Hinweise zur Wartung und Instandhaltung:
³Die regelmäßige Reinigung der Maschine, vor
allem des Bohrfutters, stellt einen wichtigen
Sicherheitsfaktor dar. Vor Beginn dieser Arbei-
ten ist der Netzstecker zu ziehen.
³Es dürfen nur original MAFELL-Ersatz- und
Zubehörteile verwendet werden. Es besteht
sonst kein Garantieanspruch und keine Haftung
des Herstellers.
3 Rüsten / Einstellen
3.1 Netzanschluss
Achten Sie vor Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass die
Netzspannung mit der auf dem Leistungsschild der
Maschine angegebenen Betriebsspannung überein-
stimmt.
Nur ausgeschaltete Maschine an das Spannungs-
netz anschliessen.
3.2 Werkzeugwechsel
Beim Werkzeugwechsel verhindert die Mittelstellung
LOCK am Drehrichtungsumschalter 3 eine ungewollte
Betätigung des Schalters 1. Die Mittelstellung LOCK
am Getriebeschaltknebel 6 (Spindelarretierung)
erleichtert den Werkzeugwechsel und die Montage
oder Demontage des Bohrfutters. Vor der Montage
Planflächen von Bohrfutter und Bohrspindel reinigen.
4Betrieb
4.1 Erst-Inbetriebnahme
Vor der erstmaligen Inbetriebnahme der Maschine
folgende Hinweise unbedingt beachten:
³Diese Betriebsanleitung muss allen mit der
Bedienung der Maschine beauftragten Perso-
nen zur Kenntnis gegeben werden, wobei insbe-
sondere auf das Kapitel „Sicherheitshinweise“
aufmerksam zu machen ist.
³Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Werkzeug korrekt
gespannt ist.
4.2 Ein- und Ausschalten
Kurzbetrieb
Einschalten: Schalter 1 (Seite 3) drücken.
Ausschalten: Schalter loslassen.
Dauerbetrieb
Einschalten: Schalter 1 und Arretierknopf 2 nachein-
ander drücken. Der Motor läuft ohne Druck auf den
Schalter.
Ausschalten: Schalter 1 eindrücken, bis Arretierknopf 2
herausspringt, dann Schalter loslassen.
Die Elektronik verhindert ein Anlaufen der Ma-
schine bei Netzanschluss mit arretiertem Schalter 1.
Ausschalten und wieder einschalten.
4.3 Drehzahleinstellung
Die Bohrmaschine ist mit einem Getriebe und einer
elektronischen Drehzahlregelung ausgestattet. Die
Drehzahl kann stufenlos zwischen 150 und 2250
min-1 eingestellt werden. Die eingebaute Elektronik
sorgt beim Einschalten für eine ruckfreie Beschleu-
nigung und regelt bei Belastung die Drehzahl auf
den fest eingestellten Wert nach.
Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel unbe-
dingt Netzstecker ziehen oder Netz-
kabel-Modul 7 (Seite 3) durch Betä-
tigung der Verriegelungstaster 8
aus dem Handgriff entfernen.
Maschine nur einschalten, wenn das
Werkzeug keinen Kontakt mit dem
Werkstück hat.

Die erforderliche Drehzahl wird mit dem Getriebe-
schaltknebel 6 (Seite 3) und Einstellrad am Schalter
1 eingestellt.
4.4 Drehmoment-Vorwahl
Mit dem Stellrad 4 (Seite 3) kann das benötigte
Drehmoment voreingestellt werden. Da diese Ein-
stellung von verschiedenen Faktoren abhängig ist,
muss sie durch Versuche ermittelt werden.
Empfehlung:
Die Rutschkupplung schützt Motor und Getriebe vor
Überlastung und stossartigen Belastungen
(Drehmoment max. 25 Nm).
4.5 Arbeitshinweise
4.5.1 Bohren
Beim Bohren in Metall nur einwandfreie geschärfte
HSS-Bohrer (HSS = Hochleistungs-Schnell-Schnittstahl)
verwenden.
4.5.2 Schrauben
Verwenden Sie nur zum Schraubenknopf passende
Schraubklingen (Bits).
Beim Eindrehen größerer, längerer Schrauben in
harte Werkstoffe am besten vorbohren.
4.5.3 Gewindeschneiden
Zur Verwendung als Gewindeschneider können im
Bohrfutter bei niedrigen Drehzahlen und entspre-
chender Vorsicht Maschinengewindebohrer einge-
spannt werden.
5 Wartung und Instandhaltung
5.1 Maschine
Die Maschine muss regelmäßig von abgelagertem
Staub befreit werden. Dabei sollten die Lüftungsöff-
nungen am Motor ausgeblasen werden.
Der Aufbewahrungsort muss trocken und frostfrei sein.
Sollte das Gerät trotz sorgfältiger Herstell- und Prüf-
verfahren einmal ausfallen, ist die Reparatur von
einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle für MAFELL -
Elektrowerkzeuge ausführen zu lassen.
Für alle Schmierstellen nur unser Spezialfett,
Bestell - Nr. 049040 (1 kg - Dose), verwenden.
5.2 Lagerung
Wird die Maschine längere Zeit nicht verwendet, ist
diese sorgfältig zu reinigen (siehe Kapitel 5.1). Blanke
Metallteile mit einem Rostschutzmittel einsprühen.
Maschine nur in trockenen Räumen lagern und vor
Witterungseinflüssen schützen.
Getriebe nur im Stillstand umschal-
ten! Nach dem Einschalten Drehrich-
tung des Werkzeuges überprüfen.
Falls erforderlich, Drehrichtung mit
dem Schalter 3 wechseln.
Drehrichtungsänderung nur im Still-
stand! Drehrichtungsumschalter 3
jeweils bis zum Anschlag am
Gehäuse durchdrücken, d.h. bis er
spürbar einrastet.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss beim
Arbeiten mit der Bohrmaschine stets

hend wartungsarm konstruiert. Die ein-
gesetzten Kugellager sind auf Lebens-
zeit geschmiert. Nach längerer
Betriebsdauer empfiehlt MAFELL, die
Maschine einer autorisierten MAFELL-
Kundendienstwerkstatt zur Durchsicht
zu geben.

1.4 Noise emission

Any use beyond the above-stated is considered as
not compliant with the specified use according to
intended purpose. The manufacturer is not liable for

Intended use also includes the compliance with the

³Hearing can be impaired when working for long
periods without ear protectors.
³Emission of hazardous dust when working with
wood, asbestos-containing materials and stones
with crystalline sillicic acid.
2 Safety instructions
General instructions:
³Never work without the protective equipment
prescribed for the relevant operation and do not
make any modifications to the machine that
could undermine safety.
³Children and young persons must not operate
this machine. This rule does not apply to young
persons receiving training and being supervised
by an expert.
³Always be aware of environmental influences.
Do not allow the machine to be exposed to the
rain and do not use the machine in a damp or
wet environment, or in the vicinity of inflam-
mable liquids or gases.
³Chips or splinters must not be removed if the
machine is still in operation.
³ Observe electrical wires, gas or water lines when
carrying out works on the wall, ceiling or floor.
³ When operating the machine outdoors, use of an
earth-leakage circuit-breaker is recommended.
³ Damaged cables or plugs must be renewed
immediately.
³Avoid sharp bends in the cable. Especially when
transporting and storing the machine, do not
wind the cable around the machine.
³Dusts forming when working with asbestos-con-
taining materials and stones with crystalline sil-
licic acid are hazardous. Adhere to the accident
prevention regulations VBG 119 of the relevant
liability insurance association.
³Store the machine in the dry under lock and key
and out of reach of children.
Instructions on the use of personal safety equip-
ment:
³Always wear protective goggles and solid, anti-
slip footwear when working with the machine.
³ Always wear close-fitting industrial clothing and
remove rings, bracelets and watches. With long
hair, a respective hair protection is required.
³The sound pressure level at the ear may exceed
85 dB (A). Operators should therefore wear ear
protectors.
Instructions on operation:
³Provide an uncluttered, anti-slip location with
adequate illumination.
³Prior to switching on the device, verify that the
tool has been properly clamped.
³Never work with pieces which are too big or too
small for the machine´s capacity.
³ Whenever possible, secure the workpiece against
slipping and tipping over (e.g. with screw clamps).
³ Examine the workpiece for foreign objects.
³ When carrying out any works on the device,
never reach below the workpiece (risk of injury!).
³ Check the device prior to each use. If you detect
any damage, do not continue working on the
device. Repairs may only be executed by expert
personnel. Never open the device yourself.
³Before tool changes, making adjustments and
eliminating malfunctions (including the removal
of trapped chips), pull out the mains plug.
³Be careful when screwing in long screws.
Risk of sliding down!
³For screwing operations, use the 1st gear and
work at low speed.
Residual risks may also arise owing
to the design of the machine relat-
ing to its intended purpose even if
the machine is used properly and in
compliance with all relevant safety
regulations; e.g.:
If used incorrectly, machines can be
dangerous. For this reason, always
comply with the safety instructions
summarized in this chapter, the acci-
dent prevention regulations of the rele-
vant liability insurance associations or
equivalent, and the safety regulations
applicable in the country concerned!

³Adjust the feed rate during drilling to the drill ∅
and the material thickness. Excessive feed rates
overload the motor, lead to poorly executed drill
holes and blunt the drill prematurely.
³Never touch the tool when the machine is in
operation.
Instructions on service and maintenance:
³Regular cleaning of the machine, especially the
chuck, is an important safety factor. Before
beginning this task, pull out the mains plug.
³Only original MAFELL spare parts and acces-
sories must be used. Otherwise, the manufac-
turer does not offer any warranty and does not
accept any liability.
3 Set-up / Adjustment
3.1 Mains connection
Prior to commissioning make sure that the mains
voltage complies with the operating voltage stated
on the machine's rating plate.
The machine must only be connected to the mains
when it is OFF.
3.2 Tool replacement
During tool change, the centre position LOCK on the
rotation direction switch 3 avoid the accidental opera-
tion of switch 1. The centre position LOCK on the gear
shift toggle 6 (spindle lock) simplifies tool replacement
and the assembly or disassembly of the chuck. Prior
to assembly, the faces of the chuck and the drilling
machine spindle must be cleaned.
4 Operation
4.1 First use
Before using the machine for the first time, it is
imperative to observe the following notes:
³Personnel entrusted to work with the machine
must have read the operating instructions. Main
importance has to be attached to the chapter
"Safety instructions".
³ Make sure that the tool has been properly clamped.
4.2 Switching on and off
Temporary operation
ON: press switch 1 (page 3).
OFF: release the switch.
Continuous operation
Switching on: Press switch 1 first and then press
locking button 2. The motor runs without keeping the
switch pressed.
Switching off: Press switch 1 until the locking button 2
jumps out and release the switch.
When switch 1 is arrested, the electronic system
avoids a machine start-up in the energised state.
Switch off and on again.
4.3 Adjusting drilling speed
This drilling machine has a gear box and an elec-
tronic speed control. The speed can be variably
adjusted between 150 and 2250 min-1. The built-in
electronics ensure a jerk-free acceleration when
switching on and control the speed according to the
value set.
The required speed is set by means of the gear shift
toggle 6 (page 3) and the setting wheel on switch 1.
Prior to tool replacement, it is imper-
ative to draw the power plug or
remove the mains cable module 7
(page 3) from the handle by operat-
ing locking switch 8.
Do not switch on the machine if the
drill bit is touching the workpiece.
The gear must only be shifted when
the machine is out of operation!When
the machine has been switched on
the direction of rotation of the drill bit
should be checked. If required,
change the sense of rotation with
switch 3.
The sense of rotation must only be
changed when the machine is out of
operation! Press the rotation direc-
tion switch 3 up to the limit stop on
the enclosure until you feel it latch-
ing.

4.4 Torque pre-selection
By means of the setting wheel 4 (page 3), the
required torque can be pre-set. As this setting
depends on diverse factors, it has to be specified by
means of tests.
Recommendation:
The safety clutch protects the motor and the gear
against overload and jerky loads (torque max. 25 Nm).
4.5 Operating instructions
4.5.1 Drilling
For drilling metal, only use properly sharpened SHSS-
tipped drills (SHSS = super-high speed steel).
4.5.2 Screwing
Only use bits which are suitable for the screw head.
Predrill a hole for screwing larger, longer screws into
hard materials.
4.5.3 Thread cutting
In order to use the drill as threader, tap drills can be
clamped into the chuck. The drill then has to be cau-
tiously operated at low speeds.
5 Service and maintenance
5.1 Machine
The machine must be cleaned of dust deposits at
regular intervals. at the same time blowing out the
motor ventilation apertures.
The storage place has to be dry and frost-free.
If, despite careful manufacturing and test proce-
dures, the device fails, the respective repair works
must be carried out by an authorized MAFELL cus-
tomer service station for electrical tools.
Only use our special grease, order number 049040
(1 kg tin), for all lubrication spots.
5.2 Storage
If the machine is out of service for a lengthy period of
time, it should be thoroughly cleaned (see chapter
5.1). Spray bright metal panels with a rust inhibitor.
Store the machine only in dry rooms, where it is pro-
tected against weathering.

For reasons of safety, additional han-
dle 11 (page 3) has to be always
used when operating the drill. This
handles allows for a particularly safe
guidance of the drill and an accurate
setting of the frill depth by means of
the drill depth stop.
Pull out the mains plug before start-
ing on any maintenance work!
The HB 2 E drill features a largely
maintenance-free design. The ball
bearings used are greased for life. After
a prolonged period of operation, users
are recommended to have the machine
checked by an authorized MAFELL
customer service shop.

2 Consignes de sécurité
Instructions générales :
³Avant tout travail, vérifiez que les dispositifs de
sécurité fonctionnent et ne modifiez rien à la
machine que puisse porter atteinte à la sécurité.
³Il est interdit à des enfants ou à des adolescents
de se servir de la machine. Exception faite des
adolescents en cours de leur formation et sous
la surveillance d'un spécialiste compétent.
³Préoccupez-vous des conditions extérieures.
N'exposez pas la machine à la pluie et évitez de
travailler dans un environnement humide ou
mouillé, de même qu'à proximité de liquides ou
de gaz inflammables.
³Ne pas retirer les copeaux ou les éclats pendant
que la machine est en marche.
³ Faire attention aux câbles électriques, aux con-
duites de gaz et d'eau en travaillant sur des murs,
des plafonds ou des planchers.
³ Lors de l'utilisation de la machine en plein air, il
est recommandé de l'équiper d'un disjoncteur.
³ Les câbles ou les fiches détériorés doivent être
remplacés sans retard.
³Évitez de plier le câble. En particulier, ne pas
enrouler le câble autour de la machine pendant
le transport et le stockage de la machine.
³ La poussière émise lors de l'usinage du bois, de
matériaux renfermant de l'amiante et de pierres
contenant des cristaux d'acide silicique est nuisible
à la santé. Respecter la réglementation en vigueur
correspondante de la caisse de prévoyance contre
les accidents (en Allemagne : VBG 119).
³Remettez la machine dans un endroit sec et
fermé, hors de la portée des enfants.
Instructions pour l'utilisation d'équipement de
protection personnel :
³Toujours porter des lunettes de protection, des
chaussures solides et antidérapantes en tra-
vaillant avec la machine.
³ Portez toujours des vêtements de travail non
flottants et ôtez vos alliances, bracelets et mon-
tres. Portez une protection appropriée si vous
avez les cheveux longs.
³Le niveau de pression acoustique à l'oreille peut
dépasser 85 dB (A). En conséquence, portez
des protecteurs d’oreilles pendant le travail.
Instructions pour l'opération :
³Veillez à disposer de suffisamment de place
libre et d'un endroit non dérapant, ainsi que d'un
éclairage suffisant.
³Avant la mise en marche, vérifiez que l'outil soit
correctement bridé.
³Ne travaillez pas de pièces qui seraient soit trop
petites soit trop grosses pour la capacité de la
machine.
³ Caler l'outil, dans la mesure du possible, par
exemple à l'aide d'un serre-joint, pour l'empêcher
de glisser et de basculer.
³Vérifiez qu'il n'y a pas de corps étranges dans la
pièce à travailler.
Même en cas d'utilisation conforme
et nonobstant le respect de toutes
les consignes de sécurité, des ris-
ques résiduels liés à la conception
de la machine, elle-même dictée
par son usage, ne peuvent être
écartés ; p. ex. :
Les machines peuvent être rendues
dangereuses par un usage non
approprié. C'est pourquoi il est indis-
pensable de prêter continuellement
attention aux consignes de sécurité
contenues dans ce chapitre, de
même qu'aux consignes de préven-
tion des accidents de l'organisme
professionnel concerné et aux règle-
ments de sécurité dictés dans cha-

³Ne jamais mettre la main sous la pièce à usiner
pendant le travail (risque de blessures !).
³ Vérifier l'appareil avant chaque utilisation. Ne pas
persister à utiliser l'appareil après avoir constaté la
présence de vices. Ne confier la réparation qu'à un
spécialiste. Ne jamais ouvrir l'appareil soi-même.
³Avant tout changement d'outil, toute opération
de réglage et avant de remédier à tout dérange-
ment (en fait partie l'enlèvement des copeaux
coincés) débranchez la fiche.
³Faire preuve de vigilance en enfonçant des vis
longues : risque de glissement.
³Pour le vissage, utiliser la 1e vitesse ou une
vitesse de rotation faible.
³Adapter l'avance au ∅ de la mèche et à l'épais-
seur du matériau pour le perçage. Une avance
trop rapide conduit à une surcharge du moteur,
nuit à la netteté des trous et provoque un désaf-
fûtage rapide de la mèche.
³Ne jamais toucher l'outil pendant que la
machine est en marche.
Instructions pour entretien et maintenance :
³Le nettoyage régulier de la machine et en pre-
mier lieu du mandrin de perceuse constitue un
facteur important de sécurité. Avant de procéder
à ces travaux, débranchez la fiche.
³N'utilisez que des pièces détachées et des
accessoires d'origine MAFELL. À défaut de quoi
la garantie du constructeur n'est pas assurée et
sa responsabilité est dégagée.
3 Equipement / Installation
3.1 Raccordement au réseau
Avant la mise en marche, vérifiez que la tension du
réseau correspond bien à la tension indiquée sur la
plaque signalétique de la machine.
Ne mettre la machine sous tension que si elle est
arrêtée.
3.2 Changement d'outil
Pendant le changement d'outil, la position centrale
LOCK (verrouillage) sur le commutateur du sens de
rotation 3 empêche un actionnement involontaire de
l'interrupteur 1. La position centrale «LOCK» (ver-
rouillage) sur le commutateur à bascule de l'engre-
nage 6 (blocage de broche) facilite le changement
d'outils et le montage ou démontage du mandrin de
perceuse. Avant le montage, nettoyer les surfaces
planes du mandrin de perceuse et de la broche de
perçage.
4 Fonctionnement
4.1 Première mise en service
Avant la première mise en service de la machine,
tenir impérativement compte des consignes qui sui-
vent :
³Le personnel chargé de travailler avec la

commencer son travail et en particulier le chapi-
tre «consignes de sécurité».
³S'assurer que l'outil soit correctement bridé.
4.2 Marche/arrêt
Opération temporaire
Marche : appuyer sur l'interrupteur 1 (page 3).
Arrêt : relâcher l'interrupteur.
Fonctionnement continu
Marche : appuyez d'abord sur l'interrupteur 1, puis
sur le bouton de blocage 2. Le moteur marche sans
appui permanent sur l'interrupteur.
Arrêt : appuyer sur l'interrupteur 1 jusqu'à ce que le bou-
ton de blocage 2 ressorte, puis relâche l'interrupteur.
Le système électronique empêche le démarrage de
la machine lorsque que le raccord est réalisé avec
l'interrupteur 1 bloqué. Mettre hors circuit puis réen-
clencher.
4.3 Réglage de la vitesse de rotation
La perceuse est équipée d'un réducteur et d'un
variateur de vitesse électronique. La vitesse de rota-
tion peut être progressivement réglée entre 150 et
2250 min-1. L’électronique de la machine assure une
accélération sans à-coups lors de la mise en marche
et règle la vitesse en cas de charge à la valeur pré-
déterminée.
Avant le changement d'outil,
débrancher impérativement la fiche
du secteur ou bien retirer le module
câble réseau 7 (page 3) en action-
nant le bouton de verrouillage 8 à
partir de la poignée.
Ne démarrez la machine que lorsque
la mèche n'est pas en contact avec la
pièce à travailler.
