1. Safety instructions

5. Do not use this equipment near water.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not use near heat sources such as stoves, heat
registers, radiatiors or other equipment (including
amplifiers) that produces heat.
9. Do not use the unit near open fire sources.
10. Connect the unit only to the electric network
with grounding. Use only electic plugs that provide
grounding.
11. Protect the power cord from being walked on,
pinched, or otherwise damaged.
12. Use only accessories specified by the manufacturer.
13. Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the system has been
damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have
fallen into the unit, the unit has been exposed to rain
or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.

3. WASP series
3.1 Introduction
WASP line array it is a great tool for mid-sized
indoor and outdoor installations, as well as touring
applications and concert venues.
Dual 8-inch system with 1,5-inch throat HF driver,
WASP has received the most advanced components
to assist with task of creating the ultimate compact
line-array solution. Thoroughly designed cabinets,
most advanced proprietary mounting system,
and wide selection of mounting and connectivity
accessories was called in to provide the fast
mounting\dismounting times, as well as ease of
transportation and storage.
Complete amplification solution is available
for WASP as well. Ready-to-go touring racks are
fitted with signal and power distribution, and are
based on state-of-the-art touring amplifiers from
Powersoft®. WASP system usability is further
extended with available presets as well as GLL files
for fast system performance prediction.
Compatible with several low-frequency support
cabinets from Subwoofer series, WASP is a
versatile touring and concert system, benefiting
from compact size, high-quality components, and
numerous installation options.

5. System operation
5.1. Rigging
WASP line array comes with built-in mounting hardware for ground stack and flying cluster installation
options.
Rigging must be performed only by trained personnel following the established safety rules.
MAXIMUM WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES!
MAKE SURE THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE IS CAPABLE OF HOLDING THE APPLIED WEIGHT WHILE
SUSPENDING THE SYSTEM!
5.2. Connecting two WASP modules
Required accessories:
VA-0010 (part No. 0209000001) - 2 pcs
VA-0018 (part No. 0209000021) - 1 pcs
- Release rear VA-0018 10 mm pin and
drop rear link down on both cabinets
(Pic 1, Pic 2).
- Position two WASP modules on top of
one another, align cabinets’ so their front
links will fit into each other (Pic 3.)
- Insert two VA-0010 8 mm pins into left
and right front links, choose required splay
angle using rear link, and insert one VA-
0018 10 mm pin into corresponding slot of
the rear link.
- Add additional cabinets if needed on top
(for ground stack) or on the bottom (for
flown rack).
5.3. Connecting a flying frame on the top
of a WASP module
Required accessories:
WSF-01 (part No. 108017000) - 1 pcs
VA-0010 (part No. 0209000001) - 2 pcs
VA-0018 (part No. 0209000021) - 1 pcs
- Release rear VA-0018 10 mm pin and
drop rear link down on WASP cabinet
(Pic 1).
- Release link on the WSF-01 flying frame
(Pic 2).
- Place the WSF-01 frame on top of the
WASP cabinet, align so front and rear links
of a cabinet fit into receptacles of the
frame (Pic 3).
- Insert two VA-0010 8 mm pins into
left and right front links of the cabinet,
choose required splay angle using rear link,
and insert one VA-0018 10 mm pin into
corresponding slot of the rear link. (Pic 4).

- Place the WSF-01 flying frame on the top
of a Sub H12, align so front and rear links of
a Sub H12 fit into receptacles of the frame

and rear links of the Sub H12.

bottom of a Sub H12

configuration with WASP modules and
Sub H12 subwoofers

WASP line array is a versatile product
allowing creation of ground stack as well
as flying cluster configurations.
In both cases, connection of WASP
modules and Sub H12 subwoofer must be
performed using an intermediate WSF-01
frame.

8. Warranty and assistance
8.2. Assistance
There are no user-serviceable parts in your
amplifier. Refer servicing to qualified technical
personnel. In addition to in-house service depart-
ment, MAG Audio supports the chain of distribu-
tors, authorized in repairs and service. If your
amplifier needs repair contact your MAG Audio
dealer or distributor.
Occasionally, due to the nature of the failure, it
might be necessary to return defective products to
MAG Audio for repair. In this case, before shipping,
please kindly contact your MAG Audio distributor
or dealer, or MAG Audio directly. You will be pro-
vided the RMA number code and detailed instruc-
tions regarding your particular case. Please do not
send products without a prior authorization.
Thank you for your understanding and coopera-
tion and continued support as we work to improve
our partnership.
8.1. Product warranty
By this warranty MAG Audio grants that all
equipment manufactured under the MAG Audio
trademark is free from defects in material, compo-
nents and factory workmanship under the normal
use and maintenance for the time as specified
below.
All warranty repairs and maintenance of MAG
Audio products shall be carried out at MAG Audio
production sites or by MAG Audio authorized per-
sonnel at no cost for the product purchaser.
Warranty period for WASP line array is 3 years
from the date of purchase.
Warranty repairs or maintenance will be per-
formed only if a) MAG Audio product was pur-
chased from an ocial MAG Audio distributor /
dealer and b) warranty card with specified serial
number, production date, realization date, vendor’s
signature and stamp is presented.
Warranty shall not cover following: damage
caused by accident, misuse or failure to follow
exploitation rules stated in technical manual;
repairs performed by non-authorized personnel;
mechanical damage caused by shipping accidents
and normal tear and wear.
Warranty shall not be applicable to any product
with defaced, removed, or modified serial number.
If your MAG Audio product needs repairs or
maintenance, contact your ocial MAG Audio
distributor / dealer. Please do not ship your MAG
Audio product without prior authorization.

2. Нормативная информация
УВЕДОМЛЕНИЕ О СООТВЕТСТВИИ
ПРАВИЛАМ FCC
Это устройство соответствует части 15 правил
FCC. Работа устройства подвержена двум
условиям: (1) Это устройство не может создавать
вредных помех, и (2) это устройство должно
принимать любые помехи, включая помехи
способные вызвать некорректную работу.
ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ: Изменения и
модификации, не одобренные стороной,
выполняющей проверку соответствия, могут
лишить пользователя права использовать
оборудование.
ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Это оборудование было
проверено и найдено соответствующим
требованиям цифрового оборудования Класса
B, в соответствии с частью 15 правил FCC. Эти
требования созданы для предоставления
адекватной защиты от вредных помех в
инсталляции, находящейся в жилой зоне. Это
оборудование производит, использует и может
излучать электромагнитные колебания радио-
частот и, если не установлено в соответствии
с инструкциями, может создавать вредные
помехи радио коммуникациям. Однако, нет
гарантии, что помехи не возникнут в конкретной
инсталляции. Если оборудование создаёт
вредные помехи для приёма радио либо
телевидения, что может быть определено
выключением и включением оборудования,
пользователь может попробовать решить
проблему следующими мерами:
- Переориентировать или переместить
принимающую антенну.
- Увеличить расстояние между антенной и
оборудованием.
- Подключить оборудование к розетке
питания принадлежащей отличной от
приёмником сети электропитания.
- Проконсультироваться с продавцом либо
опытным теле/радио техником.

3. Серия WASP
3.1. Вступление
Линейный массив WASP - система,
разработанная для инсталляций среднего
формата, турового применения и концертных
залов.
WASP собран на основе двух 8-дюймовых
динамиков и 1,5” драйвера, и благодаря
тщательно проработанной передовой
конструкции, является отличным инструментом
для ответственных звуковых инсталляций.
Простая и практичная система подвеса,
широкий выбор опций и аксессуаров
обеспечивают быстроту сборки и демонтажа, а
тажке простоту перевозки и хранения.
Для WASP доступны также готовые решения в
плане усиления. Усилительные рэки снаряжены
распределителями питания и сигнала, и
собраны на основе высококлассных усилителей
от Powersoft®. Дополнительно расширяют
возможности настройки готовые пресеты и
файлы данных GLL.
WASP совместим с несколькими низкочастот-
ными системами из серии SUBWOOFER, и бла-
годаря компактным размерам, качественным
компонентам и широким инсталляционным
возможностям, является универсальной туро-
вой и концертной системой.
