MAGNAFLUX7UV-A LIGHT METER
INTRODUCTION:
The Magnaflux7UV-A Digital Light Meter is a compact, rugged,
easy to operate, multi-function UV Meter proven to be highly
effective for measuring and calibrating UV-A light sources used in
fluorescent magnetic particle and liquid penetrant DT inspections.
The Magnaflux7UV-A Digital Light Meter comes with a detachable
remote sensor, high-contrast digital LCD display, 9V battery and
protective storage case.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the UV-365 Remote Sensor into the Remote Sensor
Jack on the front of the unit.
2. Power the unit on by depressing the Power Button. If LCD
display does not immediately respond, check battery and replace if
necessary. Note: If during operation a low battery warning appears
(LOBAT or ← symbol), power unit off and replace battery.
3. Select and depress the UV-365 Button and corresponding
Ran e Button (x1, x10, x100, or x1000).
4. Remove probe cover and place probe in test position. The
display window will provide a readout of the irradiance value
(unit: µW/cm2).
5. To maintain measurement data in readout display, depress the
Hold Button. To continue taking test readings, depress and
release the Hold Button.
6. Once readings have been completed, power unit off by pressing
and releasing the Power Button.
STORAGE
When not in use, the Magnaflux7UV-A Digital Light Meter should
be stored in its protective case to insulate the instrument from
strong vibrations or impact damage that could effect its operation.
For long term storage, an environment of 32º - 104ºF (0º - 40ºC)
with <85% Relative Humidity is recommended.
