Sehr geehrter Installateur,
Arbeiten an der Elektrik dürfen nur von einer
Elektrofachkraft vorgenommen werden. Sie
sind eine Elektrofachkraft, wenn Sie aufgrund
Ihrer fachlichen Ausbildung, Schulung und
Erfahrung
●die einschlägigen Normen und Richtlinien
kennen,
●die elektrischen Anschlüsse gemäß dem
Verdrahtungsplan der Installationsanleitung
fachgerecht und sicher ausführen können,
●Risiken und Gefährdungen durch Elektrizität
erkennen und vermeiden können und
●Risiken durch fehlerhafte Installationen und
Einstellungen und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren erkennen und vermeiden können.
1 Lieferumfang
Bypassklappe inkl. Motor und Anschlusskabel,
Nachrüstungsaufkleber und diese Installations-
anleitung.
2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Bypassklappe mit Stellungsrückmeldung zum
Öffnen oder Verschließen des Sommerbypasses
der zentralen Lüftungsgeräte WR 310, WR 410,
WS 320 oder WS 470. Bei offenem Bypass
wird die Außenluft direkt am Wärmetauscher
vorbei in die Wohnräume geleitet (Betrieb
ohne Wärmerückgewinnung).
Lesen Sie zuerst die Sicherheitshinweise
der Installationsanleitung des Lüftungsge-
rätes, bevor Sie die Bypassklappe instal-
lieren. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
3 Sicherheitshinweise
Gefahr durch Stromschlag:
Vor dem Abnehmen der Front-
abdeckung alle Versorgungs-
stromkreise abschalten (Netz-
sicherung ausschalten) und ge-
gen Wiedereinschalten sichern.
Warnschild sichtbar anbringen.
Verletzungsgefahr bei laufen-
den Ventilatoren: Vor dem
Abnehmen der Frontabdeckung
abwarten, bis die Ventilatoren
still stehen.
Verbrennungsgefahr durch
heiße Gehäuseteile bei Gerä-
ten mit PTC-Heizregister:
Nach dem Abnehmen der Front-
abdeckung nicht auf das Heizre-
gister fassen. Erst abwarten, bis
Heizregister und Gehäuseteile
abgekühlt sind.
Verpackungsmaterial außerhalb
der Reichweite von Kindern auf-
bewahren Bei Verschlucken
besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

4 Bypassklappe nachrüsten
ACHTUNG
Gerätebeschädigung bei falscher Verdrah-
tung. Elektrische Anschlüsse nur gemäß Ver-
drahtungsplan (Installationsanleitung)
vornehmen.
ACHTUNG
Der Elektronikeinschub lässt sich bei zu
kurzen Anschlussleitungen nicht ganz
herausziehen/einhängen. Mitgeliefertes
Anschlusskabel nicht kürzen. Dieses besitzt
bereits die passende Länge.
1. Alle Versorgungsstromkreise abschalten.
2. Frontabdeckung(en) entfernen Installa-
tionsanleitung Lüftungsgerät.
3. Bypass-Verschlussklappe im Abluftkanal (klei-
ne Griffmulde hinten rechts Position „I“)
aus dem EPP-Gehäuse herausnehmen.
4. An Position „II“ eine Nut für das Anschluss-
kabel in das EPP-Gehäuse einschneiden.
5. Bypassklappe (Abbildung) bis zum An-
schlag in den Bypassschacht einschieben.
6. Anschlusskabel in die Nut (Position „III“)
einlegen, so dass dieses fest sitzt.
7. Elektronikeinschub anheben und aus dem
Elektronikfach herausziehen. Einschub in
Einhängezapfen „IV“ einhängen.

8. Anschlussleitung Bypassmotor W7 gemäß
Verdrahtungsplan auf der Hauptplatine
verdrahten (Klemme X7).
9. Elektronikeinschub in das Elektronikfach
einschieben und festschrauben.
10.Frontabdeckung(en) anbringen Installa-
tionsanleitung des Lüftungsgerätes.
11. Mitgelieferten Nachrüstungsaufkleber
deutlich sichtbar am Lüftungsgerät anbrin-
gen. Installierte Funktion und Datum bei
WS-BP eintragen.
12.Netzsicherung einschalten, Lüftungsgerät
mit Hauptschalter einschalten.
13. An einer Bedieneinheit unter Einstellungen/
Grundeinstellungen/Bypass den Bypass
mit ja aktivieren. Diese Einstellung kann
per Inbetriebnahmesoftware, WebTool
(Installateursebene), Komfort-BDE (Instal-
lateursebene) oder WebServer vorgenom-
men werden.
14.Lüftungsgerät mit Hauptschalter kurz aus-
schalten und nochmals einschalten. Das
Lüftungsgerät führt nun eine Referenzfahrt
durch und schließt den Bypass (senkrech-
te Stellung).

Bei Anwahl der Jahreszeit Winter oder
bei Lufteintrittstemperatur < 5 °C wird
der Bypass automatisch gesperrt.

5 Bypassklappe austauschen
Wird nur die Bypassklappe ausgetauscht, wie
folgt vorgehen. Ist der Motor defekt, wie in
Kapitel 4 beschrieben vorgehen.
1. Alle Versorgungsstromkreise abschalten.
2. Frontabdeckung(en) entfernen Installa-
tionsanleitung Lüftungsgerät.

Merken Sie sich bitte die Stellung der
Bypassklappe. Die neue Bypassklappe
muss beim Einbau in die selbe Stellung
gebracht werden.
3. Bypassmotor entfernen – die 3 Schrauben
lösen und den Motor nach vorne von der
Klappenwelle abziehen.
4. Bypassklappe von Hand in die waagerechte
Position bringen (= Bypass offen).
5. Bypassklappe aus dem Gehäuse nehmen.
6. Neue Bypassklappe in die waagerechte
Position stellen (= Bypass offen) und ganz
in den Bypassschacht einschieben.
7. Bypassklappe in die Position vor Ausbau
stellen.
8. Bypassmotor auf die Klappenwelle auf-
stecken und mit 3 Schrauben verschrauben.
9. Anschlusskabel in die Nut (Abb. Kap. 4,
Position „III“) einlegen, so dass dieses
fest sitzt.
10.Frontabdeckung(en) anbringen Installa-
tionsanleitung des Lüftungsgerätes.
11. Netzsicherung einschalten, Lüftungsgerät
mit Hauptschalter einschalten.
Das Lüftungsgerät führt nun eine Referenz-
fahrt durch und schließt die Bypassklappe
(senkrechte Stellung).

1 Scope of delivery
Bypass shutterincluding motor and connecting
cable, retrot sticker and these installation
instructions.
2 Intended use
Bypass shutter with position feedback for
opening or closing the summer bypass of the
WR 310, WR 410, WS 320 or WS 470 cen-
tralised ventilation units. When the bypass is
open, outside air is led straight past the heat
exchanger into the living areas (operation
without heat recovery).
Read the safety instructions in the in-
stallation instructions for the ventilation
unit before installing the bypass shutter.

3 Safety instructions
Danger from electric shock:
Before removing the front
cover, shut down all supply cir-
cuits (deactivate the mains fuse)
and secure so they cannot be
switched back on. Attach warn-
ing sign in clearly visible place.
Danger of injury when fans
are running: Before removing
the front cover, wait until both
fans have stopped.
Danger of burning from hot
housing parts on units with
PTC heat register:
After removing the front cover,
do not touch the heat register.
First wait until the heat regis-
ter and the housing parts have
cooled off.
Store packaging material out of
the reach of children Risk of
suffocation if swallowed.
4 Retrotting bypass shutter
NOTICE
Incorrect wiring will result in unit damage.
Only undertake electrical connections accord-
ing to wiring diagram (installation instruc-
tions).
NOTICE
If the connection cables are too short,
the electronic slide-in module cannot be
fully pulled out/tted. Do not shorten the
connecting cable supplied. It is already cut to
the right length.
1. Switch off all supply circuits.
2. Remove front cover(s) Installation in-
structions for ventilation unit.
3. Remove bypass shutter in exhaust air duct
(small recessed grip at rear right posi-
tion “I”) from the EPP housing.
4. At position “II” produce a slot in the EPP
housing for the connecting cable.
5. Slide bypass shutter (diagram) into
bypass shaft until stop is reached.
6. Place connecting cable in slot (position
“III”) so it is secure.
7. Lift electronic slide-in module and pull
out of the electronics compartment. Hang
slide-in module in tting “IV”.

9. Slide electronic slide-in module into elec-
tronic compartment and screw down.
10.Fit front cover(s) Installation instructions
for ventilation unit.
11. Afx the retrot sticker provided on the
ventilation unit such that it is clearly visi-
ble. Enter installed function and date on
WS-BP.
12.Switch on the mains fuse, switch on the
ventilation unit with the main switch.
13.On an operating unit, activate the bypass
by selecting yes under Settings / Basic
settings/Bypass. This setting can be
undertaken using commissioning software,
WebTool (installer level), comfort control
unit (installer level) or web server.
14.Use main switch to briey switch ventila-
tion unit off and on again. The ventilation
unit now performs a reference run and
closes the bypass (vertical position).

The bypass is automatically blocked if
the Winter season is selected or at an
air inlet temperature < 5 °C.

5 Replacing bypass shutter
If only the bypass shutter is being replaced,
proceed as follows. If the motor is defective,
proceed as described in Chapter 4.
1. Switch off all supply circuits.
2. Remove front cover(s) Installation
instructions for ventilation unit.

Take note of the bypass shutter’s posi-
tion. The new bypass shutter must be
in the same position when installed.
3. Remove bypass motor – loosen the 3 screws
and pull the motor forwards and off the
shutter shaft.
4. Move bypass shutter into horizontal posi-
tion by hand (= bypass open).
5. Take bypass shutter out of the housing.
6. Place new bypass shutter in the horizontal
position (= bypass open) and slide all the
way into the bypass shaft.
7. Place bypass shutter in the position it was
in before it was removed.
8. Position bypass motor on shutter shaft and
screw down with 3 screws.
9. Place connecting cable in slot (g. chap. 4
position “III”) so it is secure.

11. Switch on the mains fuse, switch on the
ventilation unit with the main switch.
The ventilation unit now performs a reference
run and closes the bypass shutter (vertical
position).

1 Volume de fourniture
Clapet de bypass, y compris moteur et câble
de raccordement, autocollant Postéquipement
et la présente notice d’installation.
2 Utilisation conforme
Clapet de bypass avec conrmation de position
pour l’ouverture ou la fermeture du bypass
« été » des appareils de ventilation centraux
WR 310, WR 410, WS 320 ou WS 470. Lorsque
le bypass est ouvert, l’air extérieur est conduit
directement dans les pièces d’habitation sans
passer par l’échangeur de chaleur (fonction-
nement sans récupération de chaleur).
Veuillez lire en premier lieu les consignes
de sécurité de la notice d’installation de
l’appareil de ventilation avant d’installer le
clapet de bypass. Suivez les instructions.
3 Consignes de sécurité
Risque d’électrocution : Avant
de déposer le cache de pro-
tection, couper tous les circuits
d’alimentation électrique (mettre
le fusible secteur hors service)
et sécuriser contre une remise
en marche. Apposer un panneau
d’avertissement de manière bien
visible.
Risque de blessure lorsque
les ventilateurs fonctionnent :
Avant de déposer le cache de
protection, attendre l’arrêt des
ventilateurs.
Risque de brûlure constitué
par les pièces de boîtier en-
vironnantes brûlantes en
cas d’appareils à registre de
chauffage PTC :
Après avoir retiré le cache de
protection, ne pas mettre les
mains sur le registre de chauf-
fage. Attendre d’abord le refroi-
dissement du registre de chauf-
fage et des pièces de boîtier.
Conserver le matériel d’embal-
lage hors de portée des enfants
Risque d’étouffement en cas
d’ingestion.

4 Postéquipement du clapet de
bypass
ATTENTION
Endommagement de l’appareil en cas d’er-
reur de câblage. Effectuer impérativement
les branchements électriques en conformité
avec le plan de câblage (Notice d’installa-
tion) .
ATTENTION
Le module électronique ne peut pas être
complètement sorti/accroché si les câbles
de raccordement sont trop courts. Ne pas
raccourcir le câble de raccordement fourni.
Il est à la bonne longueur.
1. Couper tous les circuits d’alimentation.
2. Retirer le(s) cache(s) de protection 
Notice d’installation de l’appareil de ven-
tilation.
3. Sortir le volet de fermeture du bypass
dans le canal d’air sortant (petite poignée
creuse arrière droit position « I ») du
boîtier EPP.
4. À la position « II », tailler une rainure dans
le boîtier EPP pour y loger le câble de
raccordement.
5. Introduire le clapet de bypass (Figure)
jusqu’en butée dans la gaine de bypass.
6. Introduire le câble de raccordement dans
la rainure (position « III ») de manière à
ce qu’il soit xé.
7. Soulever le module électronique et le
retirer du compartiment électronique.
Accrocher le module d’insertion dans
les tétons de suspension « IV ».

8. Brancher le câble de raccordement du mo-
teur de bypass W7 sur la platine principale
(borne X7) selon le plan de câblage.
9. Introduire le module électronique dans le
compartiment électronique et visser à fond.
10.Poser le(s) cache(s) de protection 
Notice d’installation de l’appareil de ven-
tilation.
11. Apposer de manière bien visible l’autocol-
lant Postéquipement fourni sur l’appareil
de ventilation. Inscrire la fonction installée
et la date dans le champ WS-BP.
12.Activer le fusible secteur, allumer l’appareil
de ventilation avec l’interrupteur général.
13.Activer le bypass avec oui sur une unité
de commande sous Réglages/Réglages
de base/Bypass. Ce réglage peut être ef-
fectué avec le logiciel de mise en service,
l’outil Web (niveau installateur), l’unité de
commande Confort (niveau installateur)
ou le serveur Web.
14.Désactiver brièvement l’appareil de
ventilation avec l’interrupteur général et
l’activer à nouveau. L’appareil de ventila-
tion effectue alors un cycle de référence et
ferme le bypass (position verticale).

5 Remplacement du clapet de
bypass
Pour remplacer uniquement le clapet de
bypass, procéder comme suit. Si le moteur
est défectueux, procéder comme décrit au
Chapitre 4.
1. Couper tous les circuits d’alimentation.
2. Retirer le(s) cache(s) de protection 
Notice d’installation de l’appareil de ven-
tilation.

Repérez la position du clapet de bypass.
Le nouveau clapet de bypass doit être
posé à la même position que l’ancien.
3. Retirer le moteur de bypass – desserrer
les 3 vis et sortir le moteur de l’arbre de
clapet par l’avant.
4. Placer à la main le clapet de bypass à
l’horizontale (= bypass ouvert).
5. Retirer le clapet de bypass du boîtier.
6. Placer le nouveau clapet de bypass à l’ho-
rizontale (= bypass ouvert) et l’enfoncer
complètement dans la gaine de bypass.
7. Poser le clapet de bypass dans la position
qu’il avait avant la dépose.
8. Insérer le moteur de bypass sur l’arbre de
clapet et le visser avec 3 vis.
9. Introduire le câble de raccordement dans
la rainure (voir Figure, Chap. 4, position
« III ») de manière à ce qu’il soit xé.
10.Poser le(s) cache(s) de protection 
Notice d’installation de l’appareil de
ventilation.
11. Activer le fusible secteur, allumer l’appareil
de ventilation avec l’interrupteur général.
L’appareil de ventilation effectue alors un
cycle de référence et ferme le clapet de
bypass (position verticale).
