Model MT401 has been developed as the cosmetic change
model of maktec blower MT400.
Its main features are:
•Industrial performance and durability at less expense
•Ergonomically designed handle with rubberized soft grip

It is not required to lubricate the machine, because of no gear mechanism to be lubricated.

CAUTION: Repair the machine in accordance with “Instruction manual” or “Safety instructions”.

DISASSEMBLING
(1) Disassemble Armature as drawn in Fig. 1.
1. Turn Nozzle counterclockwise
viewing from exhaust hole side
until it stops. And then pull it off.
2. Separate Housing R together with
Inner housing by unscrewing
eight 4x18 Tapping screws.
3. Remove Brush holders
from Housing L.
4. Remove Motor section from
Housing R.

5. Remove M5 Hex nut for Fan 100 by turning it counterclockwise
with wrench, and remove Flat washer 5.
Fan 100 and Flat washer 8 can be now removed.

ASSEMBLING
(2) Remove Ball bearings 608ZZ and 627ZZ with 1R269.
Assemble by reversing the disassembly procedure. (Refer to Fig. 1)
Note:
When assembling Fan 100 to Armature, do not forget to put Flat washer 5 and Flat washer 8 in place.
(Refer to lower right two illustrations in Fig. 1)
Ball bearing 608ZZ
Remove Ball bearings on the drive-end and the commutator-end of Armature using 1R269.
(drive-end: Ball bearing 608ZZ, commutator-end: Ball bearing 627ZZ)
