General Power Tool Safety
Warnings GEA006-2
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and
instructions for future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
Work area safety
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark
areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you
to lose control.
Electrical safety
4. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
5. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
6. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase
the risk of electric shock.
7. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase
the risk of electric shock.
8. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an
extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a
cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.

9. If operating a power tool in a damp location is
unavoidable, use a ground fault circuit interrupter
(GFCI) protected supply. Use of an GFCI reduces
the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
10. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool. Do
not use a power tool while you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
11. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear
eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
12. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch
is in the off-position before connecting to power
source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying
the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the
switch or energising power tools that have the switch
on invites accidents.
13. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left
attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result
in personal injury.
14. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control of
the power tool in unexpected situations.
15. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or
long hair can be caught in moving parts.
16. If devices are provided for the connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities, ensure these
are connected and properly used. Use of dust
collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
Power tool use and care
17. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power
tool for your application. The correct power tool will
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
18. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired.
19. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or
the battery pack from the power tool before
making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
20. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children
and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the
power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users.
21. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool
repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
22. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to bind and are easier to control.
23. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.
in accordance with these instructions, taking into
account the working conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the power tool for operations
different from those intended could result in a
hazardous situation.
Battery tool use and care
24. Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used
with another battery pack.
25. Use power tools only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
26. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small metal objects, that
can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.
27. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
burns.
Service
28. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
29. Follow instruction for lubricating and changing
accessories.
30. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and
grease.

1. Keep all parts of the body away from the cutter
blade. Do not remove cut material or hold material
to be cut when blades are moving. Make sure the
switch is off when clearing jammed material. A
moment of inattention while operating the hedge
trimmer may result in serious personal injury.
2. Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the
cutter blade stopped. When transporting or
storing the hedge trimmer always fit the cutting
device cover. Proper handling of the hedge trimmer
will reduce possible personal injury from the cutter
blades.
3. Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces
only, because the cutter blade may contact hidden
wiring. Cutter blades contacting a “live” wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and
could give the operator an electric shock.
4. Do not use the hedge trimmer in the rain or in wet or
very damp conditions. The electric motor is not
waterproof.

5. First-time users should have an experienced hedge
trimmer user show them how to use the trimmer.
6. The hedge trimmer must not be used by children or
young persons under 18 years of age. Young persons
over 16 years of age may be exempted from this
restriction if they are undergoing training under the
supervision of an expert.
7. Use the hedge trimmer only if you are in good physical
condition. If you are tired, your attention will be
reduced. Be especially careful at the end of a working
day. Perform all work calmly and carefully. The user is
responsible for all damages to third parties.
8. Never use the trimmer when under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication.
9. Work gloves of stout leather are part of the basic
equipment of the hedge trimmer and must always be
worn when working with it. Also wear sturdy shoes
with anti-skid soles.
10. Before starting work check to make sure that the
trimmer is in good and safe working order. Ensure
guards are fitted properly. The hedge trimmer must
not be used unless fully assembled.
11. Make sure you have a secure footing before starting
operation.
12. Hold the tool firmly when using the tool.
13. Do not operate the tool at no-load unnecessarily.
14. Immediately switch off the motor and remove the
battery cartridge if the cutter should come into contact
with a fence or other hard object. Check the cutter for
damage, and if damaged repair immediately.
15. Before checking the cutter, taking care of faults, or
removing material caught in the cutter, always switch
off the trimmer and remove the battery cartridge.
16. Switch off the trimmer and remove the battery
cartridge before doing any maintenance work.
17. When moving the hedge trimmer to another location,
including during work, always remove the battery
cartridge and put the blade cover on the cutter blades.
Never carry or transport the trimmer with the cutter
running. Never grasp the cutter with your hands.
18. Clean the hedge trimmer and especially the cutter
after use, and before putting the trimmer into storage
for extended periods. Lightly oil the cutter and put on
the cover. The cover supplied with the unit can be
hung on the wall, providing a safe and practical way to
store the hedge trimmer.
19. Store the hedge trimmer with the cover on, in a dry
room. Keep it out of reach of children. Never store the
trimmer outdoors.

FOR BATTERY CARTRIDGE
1. Before using battery cartridge, read all
instructions and cautionary markings on (1)
battery charger, (2) battery, and (3) product using
battery.
2. Do not disassemble battery cartridge.
3. If operating time has become excessively shorter,
stop operating immediately. It may result in a risk
of overheating, possible burns and even an
explosion.
4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them out
with clear water and seek medical attention right
away. It may result in loss of your eyesight.
5. Do not short the battery cartridge:
(1) Do not touch the terminals with any
conductive material.
(2) Avoid storing battery cartridge in a container
with other metal objects such as nails, coins,
etc.
(3) Do not expose battery cartridge to water or
rain.
A battery short can cause a large current flow,
overheating, possible burns and even a
breakdown.
6. Do not store the tool and battery cartridge in
locations where the temperature may reach or
exceed 50°C (122°F).
7. Do not incinerate the battery cartridge even if it is
severely damaged or is completely worn out. The
battery cartridge can explode in a fire.
8. Be careful not to drop or strike battery.
9. Do not use a damaged battery.

Tips for maintaining maximum battery life
1. Charge the battery cartridge before completely
discharged.
Always stop tool operation and charge the battery
cartridge when you notice less tool power.
2. Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge.
Overcharging shortens the battery service life.
3. Charge the battery cartridge with room
temperature at 10°C - 40°C (50°F - 104°F). Let a hot
battery cartridge cool down before charging it.
4. Charge the battery cartridge once in every six
months if you do not use it for a long period of
time.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before adjusting or
checking function on the tool.

Installing or removing battery cartridge
(Fig. 1)
CAUTION:
• Always switch off the tool before installing or removing
of the battery cartridge.
•Hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly when
installing or removing battery cartridge. Failure to
hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly may cause
them to slip off your hands and result in damage to the
tool and battery cartridge and a personal injury.
To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool while
sliding the button on the front of the cartridge.
To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the
battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it
into place. Insert it all the way until it locks in place with a
little click. If you can see the red indicator on the upper
side of the button, it is not locked completely.
CAUTION:
• Always install the battery cartridge fully until the red
indicator cannot be seen. If not, it may accidentally fall
out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone
around you.
• Do not install the battery cartridge forcibly. If the
cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted
correctly.
Handle mounting positions (Fig. 2)
The handle can be rotated to either 90° left or right and
mounted either 45° or 90° position to fit your work needs.
First, pull the knob and rotate the handle clockwise or
counterclockwise in the direction of arrow as shown in the
figure. The handle will be locked in 45° position. The pull
the knob and rotate more. The handle will be locked in 90°
position.
CAUTION:
• Always make sure that the handle is locked in the
desired position before operation.
Switch action
CAUTION:
• Before inserting the battery cartridge into the tool,
always check to see that the switch trigger actuates
properly and returns to the “OFF” position when
released. (Fig. 3)
For your safety, this tool is equipped with a dual switching
system. To turn on the tool, press triggers A and B.
Release either one of the two pressed triggers to turn off.
The sequence of switching is unimportant as the tool only
starts when both switches are activated.
Speed change (Fig. 4)
The strokes per minute can be adjusted just by turning the
adjusting dial. This can be done even while the tool is
running. The dial is marked 1 (lowest speed) to 6 (full
speed).
Refer to the table below for the relationship between the
number settings on the adjusting dial and the strokes per
minute.

CAUTION:
• The speed adjusting dial can be turned only as far as 6
and back to 1. Do not force it past 6 or 1, or the speed
adjusting function may no longer work.
• The strokes per minute vary by the conditions of
battery cartridge and shear blades.
Battery protection system
Lithium-ion batteries are equipped with a protection
system. This system automatically cuts off power to the
tool to extend battery life.
The tool will automatically stop during operation if the tool
and/or battery are placed under one of the following
conditions:
• Overloaded:
The tool is operated in a manner that causes it to
draw an abnormally high current.
In this situation, release the switch trigger on the tool
and stop the application that caused the tool to
become overloaded. Then pull the switch trigger
again to restart.
If the tool does not start, the battery is overheated. In
this situation, let the battery cool before pulling the
switch trigger again.
• Low battery voltage:
The remaining battery capacity is too low and the tool
will not operate. In this situation, remove and
recharge the battery.
Battery remaining capacity indicator (only
for models with Battery BL3622A)
Battery BL3622A is equipped with the battery remaining
capacity indicator. (Fig. 5)
Press the CHECK button to indicate the battery remaining
capacity. The indicator lamps will then light for approx.
three seconds.

• When only the lowermost indicator lamp (next to the
“E”) blinks, or when none of the indicator lamps light,
the battery capacity has run out, so the tool does not
operate. In these cases, charge the battery or replace
the empty battery with a fully charged one.
• When two or more indicator lamps do not light even
after charging is complete, the battery has reached the
end of its service life.
• When the upper two and lower two indicator lamps light
alternately, the battery may have malfunctioned.
Contact your local Makita authorized service center.
NOTE:
• The indicated capacity may be lower than the actual
level during use or immediately after using the tool.
• Depending on the conditions of use and the ambient
temperature, the indication may differ slightly from the
actual capacity.
ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before carrying out any
work on the tool.
Battery adapter (Accessory) (Fig. 6 & 7)
CAUTION:
• Before using battery adapter, read all instructions on
tools using battery.
• When charging a battery cartridge, first remove it from
the battery adapter and then charge it. It is not allowed
to charge the battery cartridge while using battery
adapter.
Installing or removing battery adapter
• Always switch off the tool before insertion or removal of
the battery adapter.
• To remove the battery adapter, withdraw it from the tool
while sliding the button on the adapter.
• To insert the battery adapter, align the tongue on the
battery adapter with the groove in the housing and slip
it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in
place with a little click. If you can see the red part on
the upper side of the button, it is not locked completely.
Insert it fully until the red part cannot be seen. If not, it
may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to
you or someone around you.
• Do not use force when inserting the battery adapter. If
the adapter does not slide in easily, it is not being
inserted correctly.
• The way of removing or installing a battery cartridge
from or on the battery adapter is the same as that of
removing or installing it from or on the tools.
• Press down the hook securely as far as it will go when
the battery adapter is hooked on the waist belt and
similar objects.
Arm cord hook (Accessory)
CAUTION:
• Do not attach the holder of arm cord hook to other than
the extension cord. Failure to do so may cause an
accident or personal injury.
Using the arm cord hook helps to minimize a risk of
cutting off the extension cord unexpectedly caused by the
loose extension cord. (Fig. 8)
Attach firmly the arm cord hook band placing around your
arm and pass the extension cord through the holder.
The length of the arm cord hook band is adjustable.
NOTE:
• Do not pass the extension cord through the band.
• Do not force the opening of the holder. Failure to do so
may cause deflection and damage to it.
OPERATION
CAUTION:
• Be careful not to accidentally contact a metal fence or
other hard objects while trimming. The blade will break
and may cause serious injury.
• Overreaching with a hedge trimmer, particularly from a
ladder, is extremely dangerous. Do not work from
anything wobbly or infirm. (Fig. 9)
Do not attempt to cut branches thicker than 10 mm
diameter with this trimmer. These should first be cut with
shears down to the hedge trimming level.
CAUTION:
• Do not cut off dead trees or similar hard objects.
Failure to do so may damage the tool. (Fig. 10)
Hold the trimmer with both hands and pull the switch
trigger A or B and then move it in front of your body.
(Fig. 11)
As a basic operation, tilt the blades towards the trimming
direction and move it calmly and slowly at the speed rate
of 3 - 4 seconds per meter. (Fig. 12)
To cut a hedge top evenly, it helps to tie a string at the
desired hedge height and to trim along it, using it as a
reference line. (Fig. 13)
Attaching the chip receiver (accessory) on the tool when
trimming the hedge straight can avoid cut off leaves’ being
thrown away. (Fig. 14)
Rotate the handle for your easy handling before
operation. Refer to the section titled “Handle mounting
position”.
To cut a hedge side evenly, it helps to cut from the bottom
upwards. (Fig. 15)
Trim boxwood or rhododendron from the base toward the
top for a nice appearance and good job.

Installing or removing chip receiver
(accessory)
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before installing or
removing chip receiver.
NOTE:
• When replacing the chip receiver, always wear gloves
so that hands and face does not directly contact the
blade. Failure to do so may cause personal injury.
• Always be sure to remove the blade cover before
installing the chip receiver.
• The chip receiver receives cut-off leaves and alleviates
collecting thrown-away leaves. This can be installed on
either side of the tool. (Fig. 16)
Press the chip receiver on the shear blades so that its slits
overlap with the nuts on the shear blades. At this time,
make sure that the chip receiver does not contact branch
catcher at the top of the shear blades. (Fig. 17)
At this time, the chip receiver needs to be installed so
that its hooks fit into grooves in the shear blade unit.
(Fig. 18)
To remove the chip receiver, press its lever on both sides
so that the hooks are unlocked. (Fig. 19)
CAUTION:
• The blade cover (standard equipment) cannot be
installed on the tool with the chip receiver being
installed. Before carrying or storing, uninstall the chip
receiver and then install the blade cover to avoid blade
exposure.
NOTE:
• Check the chip receiver for secure installment before
use.
• Never try to uninstall the chip receiver by an excessive
force with its hooks locked in the blade unit grooves.
Using the excessive force may damage it.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the
battery cartridge is removed before attempting to
perform inspection or maintenance.
Cleaning the tool
Clean out the tool by wiping off dust with a dry or soap-
dipped rag.
CAUTION:
• Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the
like. Discoloration, deformation or cracks may result.
Blade maintenance
Smear the blade before and once per hour during
operation using machine oil or similars.
NOTE:
• Before smearing the blade, remove the chip receiver.
After operation, remove dust from both sides of the blade
with wired brush, wipe off it with a rag and then apply
enough low-viscosity oil, such as machine oil etc. and
spray-type lubricating oil.
CAUTION:
• Do not wash the blades in water. Failure to do so may
cause rust or damage on the tool.
Removing or installing shear blade
CAUTION:
• Before removing or installing shear blade, always be
sure that the tool is switched off and the battery
cartridge is removed.
• When replacing the shear blade, always wear gloves
without removing blade cover so that hands and face
does not directly contact the blade. Failure to do so
may cause personal injury.
NOTE:
• Do not wipe off grease from the gear and crank. Failure
to do so may cause damage to the tool.
• For specific way of removing and installing shear
blades refer to the reverse of a package for accessory
shear blades.
Removing the shear blades
Reverse the tool and loosen four screws. (Fig. 20)
NOTE:
• Be careful not to get your hands dirty as grease is
applied in the shear blade driving area.
Remove the under cover. (Fig. 21)
Remove the plate. (Fig. 22)
Set the crank at the angle as shown in the figure with a
slotted bit screwdriver. (Fig. 23)
Remove two screws from the shear blades and the shear
blade unit will be taken out. (Fig. 24)
CAUTION:
• Return the gear to the original position in such a
manner as it was installed if it should be taken away by
mistake.
Installing the shear blade
Prepare 4 removed screws (For under cover), 2 screws
(For shear blade), plate, under cover, and new shear
blades.
Adjust the crank position as shown in the figure. At this
time, apply some grease provided with new shear blades
to the periphery of the crank. (Fig. 25)
Overlap the oval hole in the upper blade with that in the
lower one. (Fig. 26)
Take out the blade cover from the old shear blades and fit
it onto the new ones for easy handling during the
replacement of blades. (Fig. 27)
Place the new shear blades on the tool so that the oval
holes in the shear blades fit onto the crank. Overlap the
holes in the shear blades with the screw holes in the tool
and then secure them with two screws. (Fig. 28)
Check the crank for smooth turn with a slotted bit
screwdriver. (Fig. 29)
Install the plate, under cover on the tool. Tighten the
screw firmly.
NOTE:
• There is no distinction between the top and bottom of
the plate.
Remove the blade cover and then turn on the tool to
check it for proper movement.

NOTE:
• When the shear blades does not operate properly,
there is a poor fit between the blades and crank. Redo
from the beginning.
Replacing carbon brushes (Fig. 30)
Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly. Replace
when they wear down to the limit mark. Keep the carbon
brushes clean and free to slip in the holders. Both carbon
brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use only
identical carbon brushes. (Fig. 31)
Insert the top end of slotted bit screwdriver into the notch
in the tool and remove the holder cap cover by lifting it up.
(Fig. 32)
Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps. Take
out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new ones and
secure the brush holder caps.
Reinstall the holder cap cover on the tool.
Storage
The hook hole in the bottom of the blade cover is
convenient for hanging the tool from a nail or screw on the
wall. (Fig. 33)

Istilah “mesin listrik” dalam semua peringatan mengacu
pada mesin listrik yang dijalankan dengan sumber listrik
jala-jala (berkabel) atau baterai (nirkabel).
Keselamatan tempat kerja
1. Jagalah tempat kerja selalu bersih dan
berpenerangan cukup. Tempat yang berantakan
atau gelap mengundang kecelakaan.
2. Jangan mengoperasikan mesin listrik dalam
atmosfer yang mudah meledak, seperti bila ada
cairan, gas, atau debu mudah menyala. Mesin listrik
menimbulkan percikan api yang dapat menyalakan
debu atau uap tersebut.
3. Jauhkan anak-anak dan mereka yang tidak
berkepentingan saat menggunakan mesin listrik.
Bila perhatian terpecah, Anda dapat kehilangan
kendali.
Keamanan kelistrikan
4. Steker mesin listrik harus cocok dengan
stopkontak. Jangan sekali-kali mengubah steker
dengan cara apa pun. Jangan menggunakan
steker adaptor dengan mesin listrik berarde
(dibumikan). Steker yang tidak diubah dan
stopkontak yang cocok akan mengurangi risiko
sengatan listrik.
5. Hindari sentuhan tubuh dengan permukaan
berarde atau yang dibumikan seperti pipa,
radiator, kompor, dan kulkas. Risiko sengatan listrik
bertambah jika tubuh Anda terbumikan atau berarde.

6. Jangan membiarkan mesin listrik kehujanan atau
kebasahan. Air yang masuk ke dalam mesin listrik
akan meningkatkan risiko sengatan listrik.
7. Jangan menyalahgunakan kabel. Jangan sekali-
kali menggunakan kabel untuk membawa,
menarik, atau mencabut mesin listrik dari
stopkontak. Jauhkan kabel dari panas, minyak,
tepian tajam, atau komponen yang bergerak. Kabel
yang rusak atau kusut memperbesar risiko sengatan
listrik.
8. Bila menggunakan mesin listrik di luar ruangan,
gunakan kabel ekstensi yang sesuai untuk
penggunaan di luar ruangan. Penggunaan kabel
yang sesuai untuk penggunaan luar ruangan
mengurangi risiko sengatan listrik.
9. Jika mengoperasikan mesin listrik di lokasi
lembap tidak dapat dihindari, gunakan pasokan
daya yang dilindungi piranti pemutus arus
kegagalan arde (ground fault circuit interrupter -
GFCI). Penggunaan GFCI mengurangi risiko
sengatan listrik.
Keselamatan diri
10. Jaga kewaspadaan, perhatikan pekerjaan Anda
dan gunakan akal sehat bila menggunakan mesin
listrik. Jangan menggunakan mesin listrik saat
Anda lelah atau di bawah pengaruh obat bius,
alkohol, atau obat. Sekejap saja lalai saat
menggunakan mesin listrik dapat menyebabkan
cedera diri yang serius.
11. Gunakan alat pelindung diri. Selalu kenakan
pelindung mata. Peralatan pelindung seperti masker
debu, sepatu pengaman anti-selip, helm pengaman,
atau pelindung telinga yang digunakan untuk kondisi
yang sesuai akan mengurangi risiko cedera.
12. Cegah penyalaan yang tidak disengaja. Pastikan
bahwa sakelar berada dalam posisi mati (off)
sebelum menghubungkan mesin ke sumber daya
dan/atau baterai, atau mengangkat atau membawa
mesin. Membawa mesin listrik dengan jari Anda pada
sakelarnya atau mengalirkan listrik pada mesin listrik
yang sakelarnya hidup (on) akan mengundang
kecelakaan.
13. Lepaskan kunci-kunci penyetel sebelum
menghidupkan mesin listrik. Kunci-kunci yang
masih terpasang pada bagian mesin listrik yang
berputar dapat menyebabkan cedera.
14. Jangan meraih terlalu jauh. Jagalah pijakan dan
keseimbangan sepanjang waktu. Hal ini
memungkinkan kendali yang lebih baik atas mesin
listrik dalam situasi yang tidak diharapkan.
15. Kenakan pakaian yang sesuai. Jangan memakai
pakaian yang kedodoran atau perhiasan. Jauhkan
rambut, pakaian, dan sarung tangan dari bagian
mesin yang bergerak. Pakaian kedodoran,
perhiasan, atau rambut panjang dapat tersangkut
pada bagian yang bergerak.
16. Jika tersedia fasilitas untuk menghisap dan
mengumpulkan debu, pastikan fasilitas tersebut
terhubung listrik dan digunakan dengan baik.
Penggunaan pembersih debu dapat mengurangi
bahaya yang terkait dengan debu.
Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan mesin listrik
17. Jangan memaksa mesin listrik. Gunakan mesin
listrik yang tepat untuk keperluan Anda. Mesin
listrik yang tepat akan menuntaskan pekerjaan
dengan lebih baik dan aman pada kecepatan sesuai
rancangannya.
18. Jangan gunakan mesin listrik jika sakelar tidak
dapat menghidupkan dan mematikannya. Mesin
listrik yang tidak dapat dikendalikan dengan
sakelarnya adalah berbahaya dan harus diperbaiki.
19. Cabut steker dari sumber listrik dan/atau baterai
dari mesin listrik sebelum melakukan penyetelan,
penggantian aksesori, atau menyimpan mesin
listrik. Langkah keselamatan preventif tersebut
mengurangi risiko hidupnya mesin secara tak
sengaja.
20. Simpan mesin listrik jauh dari jangkauan anak-
anak dan jangan biarkan orang yang tidak paham
mengenai mesin listrik tersebut atau petunjuk ini
menggunakan mesin listrik. Mesin listrik sangat
berbahaya di tangan pengguna yang tak terlatih.
21. Rawatlah mesin listrik. Periksa apakah ada bagian
bergerak yang tidak lurus atau macet, bagian yang
pecah dan kondisi lain yang dapat mempengaruhi
penggunaan mesin listrik. Jika rusak, perbaiki
dahulu mesin listrik sebelum digunakan. Banyak
kecelakaan disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemeliharaan
mesin listrik.
22. Jaga alat pemotong selalu tajam dan bersih. Alat
pemotong yang terawat baik dengan mata pemotong
yang tajam tidak mudah macet dan lebih mudah
dikendalikan.
23. Gunakan mesin listrik, aksesori, dan mata mesin,
dll. sesuai dengan petunjuk ini, dengan
memperhitungkan kondisi kerja dan jenis
pekerjaan yang dilakukan. Penggunaan mesin listrik
untuk penggunaan yang lain dari peruntukan dapat
menimbulkan situasi berbahaya.
Penggunaan dan pemeliharaan mesin listrik baterai
24. Isi ulang baterai hanya dengan pengisi baterai
(charger) yang ditentukan oleh pabrik pembuat
mesin. Pengisi baterai yang cocok untuk suatu jenis
baterai dapat menimbulkan risiko kebakaran bila
digunakan dengan baterai yang lain.
25. Gunakan mesin listrik hanya dengan baterai yang
khusus ditentukan untuknya. Penggunaan baterai
yang lain dapat menimbulkan risiko cedera dan
kebakaran.
26. Bila baterai tidak sedang digunakan, jauhkanlah
dari benda logam lain, seperti klip kertas, koin,
kunci, paku, sekrup, atau benda logam kecil
lainnya, yang dapat menjadi penghubung antara
terminal-terminalnya. Menghubungsingkatkan
terminal-terminal baterai dapat menyebabkan luka
bakar atau kebakaran.
27. Bila disalahgunakan, baterai dapat mengeluarkan
cairan; hindari terkena cairan ini. Jika terkena
cairan ini secara tidak sengaja, bilaslah dengan
air. Jika cairan mengenai mata, setelah dibilas,
mintalah bantuan medis. Cairan yang keluar dari
baterai dapat menyebabkan iritasi atau luka bakar.

28. Berikan mesin listrik untuk diperbaiki hanya
kepada teknisi yang berkualifikasi dengan
menggunakan hanya suku cadang pengganti yang
sama. Hal ini akan menjamin terjaganya keamanan
mesin listrik.
29. Patuhi petunjuk pelumasan dan penggantian
aksesori.
30. Jagalah agar gagang kering, bersih, dan bebas
dari minyak dan gemuk.
PERINGATAN KESELAMATAN
MESIN PEMANGKAS TANAMAN
PAGAR NIRKABEL GEB062-5
1. Jauhkan seluruh anggota badan dari bilah
pemotong. Jangan membersihkan bahan yang
telah terpotong atau memegang bahan yang akan
dipotong saat bilah pemotong bergerak. Pastikan
bahwa sakelar telah dimatikan saat membersihkan
bahan yang macet. Sekejap saja lalai saat
mengoperasikan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar
dapat menyebabkan cedera yang serius.
2. Bawalah mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar pada
gagangnya dengan bilah pemotong dihentikan.
Saat mengangkut atau menyimpan mesin
pemangkas tanaman pagar, selalu pasang
penutup peranti pemotong. Penanganan mesin
pemangkas tanaman pagar yang benar akan
mengurangi kemungkinan cedera akibat bilah
pemotong.
3. Pegang mesin listrik hanya pada permukaan
genggam yang berisolasi, karena bilah pemotong
dapat menyentuh perkabelan yang tersembunyi.
Bilah pemotong yang menyentuh kawat “hidup”
(teraliri arus listrik) dapat menyebabkan bagian logam
yang terbuka pada mesin teraliri arus listrik dan
menyengat pengguna.
4. Jangan gunakan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar
dalam kondisi hujan atau basah atau sangat lembap.
Motor listriknya tidak tahan air.
5. Pengguna pertama-kali harus meminta pengguna
yang berpengalaman memperlihatkan kepadanya
cara menggunakan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar
ini.
6. Mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar tidak boleh
digunakan oleh anak-anak atau mereka yang berusia
kurang dari 18 tahun. Orang muda yang berusia lebih
dari 16 tahun dapat dikecualikan dari pembatasan ini
jika mereka mendapatkan pelatihan di bawah
pengawasan ahli.
7. Gunakan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar hanya
jika Anda berada dalam kondisi fisik yang baik. Jika
Anda lelah, perhatian Anda akan melemah. Berhati-
hatilah terutama menjelang berakhirnya jam kerja.
Lakukan semua pekerjaan dengan tenang dan hati-
hati. Pengguna bertanggung jawab atas semua ganti
rugi terhadap pihak ketiga.
8. Jangan sekali-kali menggunakan mesin pemangkas di
bawah pengaruh alkohol, obat bius, atau obat.
9. Sarung tangan kerja dari kulit yang kuat merupakan
bagian dari peralatan dasar mesin pemangkas
tanaman pagar dan harus selalu dikenakan saat
bekerja menggunakan mesin ini. Juga kenakanlah
sepatu yang kuat dengan sol antiselip.
10. Sebelum mulai bekerja, periksalah untuk memastikan
bahwa mesin pemangkas berada dalam kondisi kerja
yang baik dan aman. Pastikan bahwa semua
pelindungnya terpasang dengan benar. Mesin
pemangkas tanaman pagar tidak boleh digunakan
kecuali bila dirakit lengkap.
11. Pastikan pijakan Anda aman sebelum mulai
mengoperasikan mesin.
12. Pegang mesin kuat-kuat saat menggunakannya.
13. Jangan menjalankan mesin dengan nol beban secara
tidak perlu.
14. Segera matikan motor dan lepaskan kartrid baterai
jika pemotong menyentuh pagar atau benda keras
lainnya. Periksa pemotong dari kerusakan, dan jika
pemotong rusak, perbaiki segera.
15. Sebelum memeriksa pemotong, menangani
kerusakan, atau melepaskan benda yang tersangkut
pada pemotong, selalu matikan pemangkas dan
lepaskan kartrid baterai.
16. Matikan pemangkas dan lepaskan kartrid baterai
sebelum melakukan pekerjaan pemeliharaan.
17. Saat memindahkan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar
ke tempat lain, termasuk selama bekerja, selalu
lepaskan kartrid baterainya dan pasang penutup bilah
pada bilah pemotong. Jangan sekali-kali mengangkut
mesin pemangkas dengan pemotong dalam keadaan
berjalan. Jangan sekali-kali menggenggam pemotong
dengan tangan Anda.
18. Bersihkan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar dan
terutama pemotongnya setelah digunakan, dan
sebelum menyimpan mesin pemangkas untuk jangka
waktu lama. Lumasi pemotong dengan sedikit oli dan
pasang penutupnya. Penutup yang disertakan
bersama unit dapat digantung di dinding, sehingga
memberikan cara yang aman dan praktis untuk
menyimpan mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar ini.
19. Simpanlah mesin pemangkas tanaman pagar dengan
penutup terpasang, di ruangan yang kering. Jauhkan
dari jangkauan anak-anak. Jangan sekali-kali
menyimpan mesin pemangkas di luar ruangan.
SIMPAN PETUNJUK INI.

dengan produk (karena penggunaan berulang)

PETUNJUK KESELAMATAN

UNTUK KARTRID BATERAI
1. Sebelum menggunakan kartrid baterai, bacalah
semua petunjuk dan tanda peringatan pada (1)
pengisi baterai, (2) baterai, dan (3) produk yang
menggunakan baterai.

2. Jangan membongkar kartrid baterai.
3. Jika waktu pengoperasian telah menjadi terlalu
singkat, segera hentikan pengoperasian. Keadaan
tersebut dapat mengakibatkan risiko timbulnya
panas berlebihan, kemungkinan luka bakar, dan
bahkan ledakan.
4. Jika ada elektrolit yang masuk ke mata, bilaslah
bersih-bersih dengan air bersih dan segera cari
bantuan medis. Hal itu dapat mengakibatkan
hilangnya penglihatan.
5. Jangan menghubungsingkatkan kartrid baterai:
(1) Jangan menyentuh terminal-terminalnya
dengan bahan konduktif.
(2) Hindari menyimpan kartrid baterai dalam
wadah bersama dengan benda logam lainnya
seperti paku, koin, dll.
(3) Jangan biarkan kartrid baterai terkena air
atau hujan.
Hubungan singkat baterai dapat menyebabkan
aliran arus yang besar, panas berlebihan,
kemungkinan luka bakar, dan bahkan kerusakan
permanen.
6. Jangan menyimpan alat ini dan kartrid baterai di
tempat yang suhunya dapat mencapai atau
melebihi 50°C (122°F).
7. Jangan membakar kartrid baterai bahkan
meskipun kartrid sudah rusak parah atau benar-
benar rusak. Kartrid baterai dapat meledak di
dalam api.
8. Berhati-hatilah agar baterai tidak sampai terjatuh
atau terpukul.
9. Jangan menggunakan baterai yang rusak.
SIMPAN PETUNJUK INI.
Kiat untuk mempertahankan usia pakai
baterai maksimum
1. Isilah kembali kartrid baterai sebelum baterai
sepenuhnya habis.
Selalu hentikan pengoperasian alat dan isi kartrid
baterai saat Anda merasakan bahwa tenaga alat
telah berkurang.
2. Jangan sekali-kali mengisi ulang kartrid baterai
yang telah terisi penuh.
Mengisi baterai terlalu banyak akan
memperpendek usia pakai baterai.
3. Isilah kartrid baterai dalam ruangan bersuhu
antara 10°C - 40°C (50°F - 104°F). Biarkan kartrid
baterai yang panas mendingin lebih dahulu
sebelum mengisinya.
4. Isi ulang (cas) kartrid baterai sekali setiap enam
bulan jika Anda tidak menggunakannya untuk
waktu lama.
DESKRIPSI FUNGSIONAL
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu pastikan bahwa mesin dalam keadaan mati dan
kartrid baterainya telah dilepas sebelum menyetel atau
memeriksa fungsi mesin.
Memasang atau melepas kartrid baterai
(Gb. 1)
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu matikan mesin sebelum memasang atau
melepas kartrid baterainya.
•Pegang mesin dan kartrid baterai kuat-kuat saat
memasang atau melepaskan kartrid baterai. Bila
tidak dipegang dengan kuat, mesin dan kartrid baterai
dapat terlepas dari tangan Anda dan menyebabkan
kerusakan pada mesin dan kartrid baterai serta cedera.
Untuk mengeluarkan kartrid baterai, geser kartrid dari
mesin sambil menggeser tombol pada bagian depan
kartrid.
Untuk memasang kartrid baterai, luruskan lidah pada
kartrid baterai dengan alur pada rumah mesin dan dorong
masuk kartrid ke tempatnya. Masukkan kartrid
sepenuhnya sampai terkunci di tempatnya yang ditandai
dengan suara klik pelan. Jika Anda dapat melihat
indikator merah di sisi atas tombol, berarti baterai belum
terkunci sepenuhnya.
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu pasang kartrid baterai sepenuhnya sampai
indikator merah tidak terlihat. Jika tidak, komponen ini
dapat terlepas dan jatuh dari mesin, sehingga
menyebabkan cedera pada Anda atau orang lain di
sekitar Anda.
• Jangan memasang kartrid baterai secara paksa. Jika
kartrid tidak dapat meluncur masuk dengan mudah,
berarti posisi memasukkannya belum tepat.
Posisi pemasangan gagang (Gb. 2)
Gagang dapat diputar 90° ke kiri atau ke kanan dan
dipasang pada posisi 45° atau 90° sesuai dengan
kebutuhan kerja Anda. Pertama, tarik kenop dan putar
gagang searah atau berlawanan jarum jam sesuai arah
tanda panah seperti diperlihatkan dalam gambar. Gagang
akan terkunci pada posisi 45°. Tarik kenop dan putar lebih
jauh. Gagang akan terkunci pada posisi 90°.
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu pastikan bahwa gagang terkunci dalam posisi
yang dikehendaki sebelum pengoperasian.
Kerja sakelar
PERHATIAN:
• Sebelum memasukkan kartrid baterai ke dalam mesin,
selalu pastikan bahwa picu sakelar bekerja dengan
baik dan kembali ke posisi “OFF” (MATI) saat
dilepaskan. (Gb. 3)
Untuk keamanan Anda, mesin ini dilengkapi dengan
sistem sakelar ganda. Untuk menghidupkan mesin, tekan
picu A dan B. Lepaskan salah satu dari kedua picu yang
ditekan itu untuk mematikannya. Urutan penekanan
sakelar tidak penting karena mesin ini hanya hidup bila
kedua sakelar tersebut diaktifkan.
Perubahan kecepatan (Gb. 4)
Langkah per menit dapat diatur cukup dengan memutar
tombol-putar penyetel. Hal ini dapat dilakukan bahkan
sewaktu mesin berjalan. Penyetel ini ditandai dengan
angka 1 (kecepatan terendah) sampai 6 (kecepatan
penuh).

Bacalah tabel di bawah ini untuk mengetahui hubungan
antara setelan angka pada tombol-putar penyetel dan
langkah per menit.

PERHATIAN:
• Tombol-putar penyetel kecepatan dapat diputar hanya
sejauh 6 dan kembali ke 1. Jangan memaksanya
melewati 6 atau 1, atau fungsi pengaturan kecepatan
tidak akan bekerja lagi.
• Langkah per menit bervariasi tergantung kondisi kartrid
baterai dan bilah gunting.
Sistem perlindungan baterai
Baterai litium-ion dilengkapi dengan sistem perlindungan.
Sistem ini secara otomatis memutus aliran daya ke mesin
untuk memperpanjang usia pakai baterai.
Mesin akan secara otomatis berhenti beroperasi jika
mesin dan/atau baterainya berada dalam salah satu
keadaan berikut ini:
• Kelebihan beban:
Mesin dioperasikan dengan cara yang membuatnya
menyedot arus yang luar biasa besar.
Dalam keadaan ini, lepaskan picu sakelar mesin dan
hentikan pemakaian yang menyebabkan mesin
kelebihan beban. Kemudian tarik picu sakelar lagi
untuk menjalankan mesin kembali.
Jika mesin tidak berjalan, berarti baterainya
mengalami panas berlebihan. Dalam keadaan ini,
biarkan baterai menjadi dingin dulu sebelum menarik
picu sakelarnya lagi.
• Tegangan baterai rendah:
Kapasitas baterai yang tersisa terlalu sedikit dan
mesin tidak mau beroperasi. Dalam keadaan ini,
lepaskan dan isi kembali (cas) baterainya.
Indikator kapasitas baterai tersisa (hanya
untuk model dengan Baterai BL3622A)
Baterai BL3622A dilengkapi dengan indikator kapasitas

Tekan tombol CHECK untuk memperlihatkan kapasitas
baterai yang tersisa. Lampu indikator kemudian akan
menyala selama kurang lebih tiga detik.

• Bila hanya lampu indikator paling bawah (di sebelah
“E”) yang berkedip, atau bila tidak ada lampu indikator
yang menyala, berarti kapasitas baterai telah habis,
jadi mesin tidak akan bekerja. Dalam hal demikian,
isilah baterai atau ganti baterai yang kosong dengan
baterai yang penuh.
• Bila dua atau lebih lampu indikator tidak menyala
meskipun pengisian telah selesai, berarti baterai telah
sampai pada akhir masa pakainya.
• Bila dua lampu indikator atas dan dua lampu indikator
bawah menyala secara bergantian, berarti baterai
mungkin mengalami malfungsi. Hubungi pusat servis
resmi Makita setempat.
CATATAN:
• Kapasitas yang dinyatakan dapat lebih rendah
daripada level sesungguhnya selama penggunaan
atau segera setelah mesin digunakan.
• Tergantung pada kondisi penggunaan dan suhu udara
sekitar, tampilan indikasi dapat sedikit berbeda dengan
kapasitas sesungguhnya.
PERAKITAN
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu pastikan bahwa mesin dalam keadaan mati dan
kartrid baterainya dilepas sebelum melakukan
pekerjaan apa pun pada mesin.
Adaptor baterai (Aksesori) (Gb. 6 & 7)
PERHATIAN:
• Sebelum menggunakan adaptor baterai, bacalah
semua petunjuk mengenai mesin yang menggunakan
baterai.
• Saat mengisi kartrid baterai, pertama lepaskan kartrid
baterai dari adaptor baterai dan kemudian isilah.
Dilarang mengisi kartrid baterai saat masih
menggunakan adaptor baterai.
Memasang atau melepaskan adaptor baterai
• Selalu matikan mesin sebelum memasukkan atau
mengeluarkan adaptor baterai.
• Untuk mengeluarkan adaptor baterai, tariklah adaptor
dari mesin sambil menggeser tombol pada adaptor.
• Untuk memasukkan adaptor baterai, luruskan lidah
pada adaptor baterai dengan alur pada rumah mesin

dan dorong masuk adaptor ke tempatnya. Selalu
masukkan adaptor sepenuhnya sampai terkunci di
tempatnya yang ditandai suara klik. Jika Anda dapat
melihat bagian merah di sisi atas tombol, berarti
baterai belum terkunci sepenuhnya. Masukkanlah
sepenuhnya sampai bagian warna merah tidak terlihat.
Jika tidak, adaptor dapat terlepas dan jatuh dari mesin,
sehingga menyebabkan cedera pada Anda atau orang
lain di sekitar Anda.
• Jangan mendorong paksa adaptor baterai saat
memasukkannya. Jika adaptor tidak dapat terdorong
masuk dengan mudah, berarti posisi memasukkannya
belum tepat.
• Cara melepas atau memasang kartrid baterai dari atau
pada adaptor baterai sama seperti dengan cara
melepas atau memasangnya dari atau pada mesin.
• Tekan kait ke bawah kuat-kuat sejauh-jauhnya saat
adaptor baterai dikaitkan pada sabuk pinggang dan
objek serupa.
Kait tali lengan (Aksesori)
PERHATIAN:
• Jangan memasangkan penahan kait tali lengan selain
ke kabel ekstensi. Kelalaian untuk melakukan hal ini
dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan atau cedera.
Menggunakan kait tali lengan membantu meminimalkan
risiko terpotongnya kabel ekstensi secara tidak disengaja
akibat kendurnya kabel ekstensi. (Gb. 8)
Pasangkan kuat-kuat pita kait tali lengan pada lengan
Anda dan lewatkan kabel ekstensi melalui penahan.
Panjang pita kait tali lengan dapat diatur.
CATATAN:
• Jangan melewatkan kabel ekstensi melalui pita.
• Jangan membuka paksa penahan. Bila dilakukan, ini
dapat menyebabkan penyimpangan dan kerusakan
padanya.
PENGOPERASIAN
PERHATIAN:
• Berhati-hatilah untuk tidak secara tidak disengaja
menyentuh pagar logam atau benda keras lainnya saat
memangkas. Bilah akan patah dan dapat
menyebabkan cedera serius.
• Menjangkau terlalu jauh dengan mesin pemangkas
tanaman pagar, terutama dari tangga, adalah sangat
berbahaya. Jangan bekerja di atas alas yang goyah
atau lemah. (Gb. 9)
Jangan mencoba memotong cabang yang diameternya
lebih dari 10 mm dengan mesin pemangkas ini. Cabang
demikian harus lebih dulu dipotong dengan gunting
sampai ke ketinggian pemangkasan.
PERHATIAN:
• Jangan memotong pohon mati atau benda keras yang
serupa lainnya. Bila ini dilakukan, mesin dapat rusak.

Pegang mesin pemangkas dengan kedua tangan dan
tarik picu sakelar A atau B dan kemudian gerakkan di
depan badan Anda. (Gb. 11)
Sebagai pengoperasian dasar, miringkan bilah ke arah
pemangkasan dan gerakkan dengan tenang dan
perlahan-lahan pada kecepatan 3 - 4 detik per meter.

Untuk memotong puncak tanaman pagar secara rata,
akan membantu jika Anda memasang benang pada
ketinggian tanaman pagar yang dikehendaki dan
memangkas sejajar dengannya, dengan menggunakan
benang itu sebagai garis acuan. (Gb. 13)
Memasang penampung potongan (aksesori) pada mesin
saat memangkas tanaman pagar lurus dapat
menghindarkan daun yang terpotong terlempar ke mana-
mana. (Gb. 14)
Putar gagang sehingga mudah Anda tangani sebelum
mengoperasikan. Rujuklah bagian yang berjudul “Posisi
pemasangan gagang”.
Untuk memangkas sisi tanaman pagar secara rata, akan
lebih mudah jika Anda memangkas dari bawah ke atas.

Pangkas boxwoord atau rhododendron dari bagian bawah
ke atas untuk mendapat bentuk yang bagus dan hasil
akhir yang rapi.
Memasang atau melepaskan penampung
potongan (aksesori)
PERHATIAN:
• Selalu pastikan bahwa mesin dalam keadaan mati dan
kartrid baterainya telah dilepas sebelum memasang
atau melepas penampung potongan.
CATATAN:
• Saat memasang kembali penampung potongan, selalu
kenakan sarung tangan sehingga tangan dan wajah
tidak secara langsung bersentuhan dengan bilah.
Kelalaian untuk melakukan hal ini dapat menyebabkan
cedera.
• Selalu pastikan untuk melepas penutup bilah sebelum
memasang penampung potongan.
• Penampung potongan menampung potongan daun
yang dipangkas sehingga mengurangi kerepotan
mengumpulkan daun-daun yang bertebaran.
Penampung ini dapat dipasang di salah satu sisi
mesin. (Gb. 16)
Tempatkan penampung potongan pada bilah gunting
sehingga lubang panjangnya bertumpang tindih dengan
mur-mur pada bilah gunting. Pada saat ini, pastikan
bahwa penampung potongan tidak menyentuh
penangkap ranting di ujung atas bilah gunting. (Gb. 17)
Pada saat ini, penampung potongan perlu dipasang
sedemikian hingga kait-kaitnya terpasang pas ke dalam
alur dalam unit bilah gunting. (Gb. 18)
Untuk melepas penampung potongan, tekan tuasnya
pada kedua sisi sehingga kait-kaitnya terlepas
kunciannya. (Gb. 19)
PERHATIAN:
• Penutup bilah (perlengkapan standar) tidak dapat
dipasang pada mesin bila penampung potongan
terpasang. Sebelum mengangkut atau menyimpan
mesin, lepaskan dahulu penampung potongan dan
kemudian pasang penutup bilah untuk menghindari
keterpaparan bilah.
CATATAN:
• Periksa apakah penampung potongan telah terpasang
kuat sebelum menggunakan mesin.
• Jangan sekali-kali mencoba melepas paksa
penampung potongan saat kaitnya terkunci dalam alur
unit bilah. Pelepasan paksa ini dapat merusaknya.
