For safety testing of wall sockets and residual-
current circuit breakers.
Indicates very quick and easy if the installation
is correct.

TESTING
Voltage on earth connection, Broken earth wire,
Broken neutral wire, Broken live wire, Inter-
changed neutral and live, Interchanged earth
and live, Interchanged earth and live and broken
earth, Function test of RCCB 30mA.
IMPORTANT TIPS AND WARNINGS
Only designed for 230V socket.
This tester must not be used as a voltage
tester.
Do not leave the tester in the socket for a
long period of time. No longer than 2 mins.
Before usage, ensure that the tester is not
damaged. If it is damaged in any way, it must
not be plugged into the socket.
If the tester is strongly collided by hard
objects, e.g. falling onto land, it must not be
plugged into the socket.
This tester cannot distinguish wrong connec-
tion of neutral wire and earth wire.
If any fault is discovered during usage, check
that the socket is dead with an other tool.
Only a person with good knowledge of
electrical measurement is allowed to use this
tester. The user holds the final responsibility.
This safety tester may only be used in accord-
ance with this instruction manual.
TEST OF GROUNDED SOCKETS
1. Plug the tester in the wall socket.
2. Put a finger on the contact marked ”PE Test”.
3. If the display is lit up and shows ”!”, the earth
is live! DANGER! Stop the test and check the
installation.
4. Compare the diode combination in the table
below to decide if the installation is correct.
5. RCCB TEST
Note! The test can only be performed if the
phase is located to the left. See test result
no. 1. If necessary, turn the tester in the wall
socket. If the wall socket is connected to
a residual-current circuit breaker press the
button ”Leakage Test” (max 3 secs.) to test
the function. When pressing the button,
the residual-current circuit breaker will be
released. If not, check the installation.
TEST OF UNGROUNDED SOCKETS
1. Plug the tester in the wall socket.
2. If you put a finger on ”PE Test” the display
will lit up and show ”!”. This is normal since
ground is missing.
3. When testing an ungrounded socket, it will
only show if the socket is live or dead.
4. Test of the residual-current circuit breaker
cannot be performed at an ungrounded
socket.
