INSTALLATION
1)Use a driver Insert into the hole located on the bottom
of the unit, and depress to unlock the battery cover andslide
it to remove.(fig.l)
2) Insen 3 •AA" batteries (not included), two beeps will sound.
Refitthe battery cover
3) Press any keyand you willhear the keytone. If this sound is
not hard or is dull slurry, replacethe battaies.

l) Select the entrance to be protected, but avoid direct aanliøtt or rain to the unit.
2) The unit is desk and wallmountable.
However,for thebest deection coverage, the urütåould be placedor
mounted 3 to 7 feet abovethe floor. Theav«age deection coverage provided by the alarm unit is 20 feet in a 89
degree arc.
3) To mount on the wall- Use the supplied screwsor the double sided adheive pads to mount the battery cover on
the location you have sele<ed. Place the unit over the bütay cover and slidethe unit omo the battery cover.
NOTE: Wheneveryou want to removethe batterycover,be to unlockthe battery as described
in
"battery installation"
The visitor chimeffnction willonlywork inthe DISARMmode.
I) Press the "F" fianctionk". then the " Q " bell key, theDing-Dong chime will play twice to confirm the unit is in
visitor chime mode.
2) Wait for 15secondsfor unit warmup. Once activated, the unit will sound Ding-Dong twice each time ,it senses
any movement.
3) Place/mountthe unit nar the entranceto detect a visitor's entryor exit.
TODEACTIVATE THE VISITOR CHmE FVNCTION
Press the "F" mnction key, then the " O " bell key .You willheartwo beeps to confim the visitor chime is
off.
PANIC ALARM
In the event of emergetcy, animmediate alarm canbe triggered by simultaneously pressing the •F' Ranctionkey
andtlE lock key. The alarmwill sound
for 30 seconds.

THE ALARM
l) Press the uF" function key then theUr-G"lock key The red LED flashes and the beeps for the exit delay time that
you have set. Leave the protected area during this time andwhen the beeps finishthe alarm is set.
2) To save battery power, the unit will enter "Conserve"
modeautomatically60 seconds later.
TO DISARM THE ALARM (ALARM MODEONLY)
To disarm the alarm, press the "F"function key then your 3 digit PIN and the alarmwillbe disarmed
HOW THE ALARM WORKS (ALARMMODEoNLY)
l) When detection is made, the red LED flashes, after the delaytime, the alarm will sound unless the "F• ffnction
keyand your PIN is entered. If these keys are not pressed,the alarm will sound for 30 (60) secondsthen re-set
itself automatically
2) If f.rrthermovement is detected during the reset period,the alarmwill sound after, and without a delay.
3) While in alarmingperiod, enter your PIN digit by digit checkingthe LED lights with each press to make sure each
key-in is correct
INTRUDER ALERT (ALARM MODE ONLY)
Oncethe unit has been triggered in the last ALARM period,the beep tone will sound instead of the I FD flashing
during entry delay time This indicates the alarm has been activated. This also means that the intruder has intruded
before. Clear the intrusion memory by entering your PIN.
IMPORTANT
1)Donot placethe alarm closeto ear as it couldcausehearing damage.
2)When the batteries are removed and replaced again,the PIN (Penonal IdentificationNumber)shouldbe
re-set to 333 automatically. However the programmed code may still remain. If this is the case, remove
the batteries and press the "F" functionkeyfor 3seconds then replacethe batteries.
