▪The transmitter is controlled using a magnet provided in the case.
▪Slide the magnet next to the transmitter mark to switch it on or off.
▪When starting up, the transmitters flashes orange for about 30
seconds until it finds a GPS signal. If the GPS reception is hard (build-
ings in the vicinity, very cloudy sky...) it may takes more time.
▪Once the transmitter has found a GPS signal, it flashes slowly green.
▪Some of the information transmitted to the receiver (such as battery
state) depend on the distance with the transmitter. If the animal is too
far away, the receiver will not receive its position any more. Battery
state is not displayed any more.
▪Do not release the animal before checking the pairing of the trans-
mitter with the receiver.

SAVING A POI
With your MPS Dog 2 you can save up to 10 POIs (points of interest), such
as, for example, the location of your car when you leave it.
Once you arrive at a selected place:
▪Use and keys to select the number to assign to the selected
POI (between 90 and 99).
▪Press the key to record your position.
▪The position is displayed and the POI is saved.
▪From now on, when you select this POI, your receiver will indicate its
distance and direction.
If a position was previously saved in the selected POI, it is erased and
replaced by the new position.
DELETE A POI
▪Use and keys to select the POI number to delete (between 90
and 99).
▪Keep the pressed during several seconds.

ADDING A TRANSMITTER
ADDING A TRANSMITTER USING THE MOBILE APP

▪On your tablet or smartphone, start the MPS application.
▪If you have your MPS receiver: Activate the Bluetooth to pair your
tablet or smartphone to your receiver.
▪If you do not have your MPS receiver but have access to the
Internet: Connect to your account. The application will retrieve inform-
ation from the cloud. Nevertheless the information updates are less
frequent and the animal location is thus less accurate.
▪Follow on the map location and route of all your transmitters.
▪Follow each transmitter individually (distance, direction, battery
state...).

IMPROVING TRANSMISSION PERFORMANCES
IN ALL CASES
To get the maximal operating distance between receiver and transmitter,
you should optimize the radio transmissions.
Take the following precautions, especially for long distance transmissions.
▪During use, try to hold the remote control casing as much as possible
by its lower part.
▪Stay on as high as possible ground (for example on a hilltop) as large
obstacles reduce signal quality.
▪Direct the remote control toward the sky and, if possible, extend your
arm.
▪Keep your devices properly charged.
ADDITIONAL CAR ANTENNA
Thanks to its 1.8 m cable and magnetic base,
this antenna can easily be attached to a metal
piece positioned in height such as a car roof.
▪Unscrew the receiver antenna.
▪Screw the additional antenna cable on
the receiver.
▪Position the additional antenna on the
car roof, as high as possible.

trated.
▪If the transmitter is on, a red LED flashes during the charge. A green
LED lights continuously once the transmitter is fully charged.
▪The provided charger LED flashes green during charge and lights con-
tinuously once the transmitter is fully charged.
▪A fully charged single battery transmitter has an autonomy of about
36 hours.
▪A fully charged double battery transmitter has an autonomy of about
72 hours.

MAINTAINING YOUR DEVICES
CLEANING
▪After use, clean your devices with a dry cloth to keep them in good con-
dition.
▪If the devices are too dirty, clean the casing and the screen with a
slightly damp cloth or a very mild cleaning product.
▪Avoid wetting the power and antenna connecting cables.
▪Never soak the receiver in water. The transmitters are waterproof.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
▪To increase the batteries lifetime, always charge your batteries
before storing them.
