2 TECHNICALCHARACTERISTICS
2.1 General characteristics
ThemotorweldingsetsoftheMultiworkMW70 HB-RE
series (HONDA powered) are designed for use in the
industrialfield in the welding sector.
The4-strokegasolineenginewithaircoolingdesigned
for heavy duty is extremely reliable and robust.
Particularattentionhasbeenpaidtothe degree of pro-
tection against external agents, engine protection and
protectionoftheelectrical partsagainst overloador over-
heating.
Thealternatoristhe2-pole asynchronous type with ex-
citation capacitors and is fitted with electronic control
oftheweldingcurrent. It is able to deliver direct current
forwelding,and230Vthree-phase,230Vsingle-phase
and48V single-phase alternate current.
