1. Make sure the work for the “Pre-delivery Inspection”
was effected by your authorized Shineray distributors. The
Certificate of delivery service manual must be given when
you pick up the motorcycle.
2. Please read the “Instruction for operation”carefully
before your first ride
3、Familiarize yourself with each operating elements
4. Adjust the clutch lever, handbrake lever and footbrake
pedal to a right positions thatare suitable foryour operating.
5. Get familiar with your motorcycle in one open space
before starting a regular drive. Try to ride as slowly as
possible in order to enhance your feeling about your
motorcycle.
6. Do not ride along off- road tracks which goes beyond
your ability and experience.
7. Hold the handle bars with both hands and leave your feet
on the footrests
8. Remove your foot from the foot brake pedal when you
are not braking. If the brake pedal can not completely be
released, the braking system might be consequently
overheated.
9. Do not make any modifications to the motorcycle and
please always use Shineray original spare parts. Spare parts
provided by other manufacturers might compromise the
safety of the motorcycle.
10. Motorcycles are sensitive to any change of weight
distributing to the motorcycle. If you are taking anyluggage
with you, please evenly distribute the weight between the
front and rear wheel. Never exceed the maximum
permissible laden weight and axle weight.
Checkout Proceedings before Starting
For your safety, please check your motorcycle
comprehensively before each start-off.
1、Check the engine oil level: The insufficiency of engine
oil will result in premature wear-out, which leads to the
damage of engine.
2、Check the fuel level: Check whether or not there is
sufficient fuel in the tank; when closing the filler cap, make
sure that the tank vent pipe is free of kink
3、Check the chain:A loose chain may fall off the chain
wheels; an extremely worn chain may break down, and
insufficient lubrication can resultin unnecessary wear-out
to the chain and chain wheels; excessive tensioning of the
chain will put additional load on the components of the
secondary drive train, which leading to the premature
wear-out, breakdown of the chain or the countershaft of
transmission.
4、Check out whether or notthe tyres are worn out.Tyres
to be found scratched or dents should be replaced. The
tread depth must comply with the legal regulation.
Moreover, please check the tyre pressure. Insufficient
tread depth or improper tyre pressure both will ruin the
driving performance.
5、Check braking system: Please check whether or not
the braking system is normal, the braking fluid is
sufficient and brake pads is worn out. Please check the
brake fluid level when the engine is cold, and if the actual
level is lower than the minimum lever, it probably
indicates the leak of fluid in braking system or the wear-
out of brake pads. In order to avoid the failure of the
braking system, please ask the Shineray specialists for
help to check the braking system, mean while check the
state of brake vent pipe, brake disc, pads brake lever and
the traveling distance of footbrake pedal.
6. Cables: Please check out the correct setting and easy-
running of the cables.
7、Check the electrical system: When starting the engine,
please check whether or not the head light, tail light, brake
lights indicators, controlling lamps and horn function well.
8、If you take luggage, make sure all luggage are
packed well.。
