of battery cover and slide
in the direction of the
arrow on the cover.

Insert 2 AAAlkaline batteries
in the compartment and
wait for the beep and the
LCD to light up.

Slide battery cover back
over the compartment with
pressure on both top and
bottom of the battery cover.

Bluetooth®Pairing Operation
Enable the Bluetooth option on the Masimo device
On the Bluetooth menu, select theThermometer option
Power on the TIR-1 unit and take a measurement
Hold close to the Masimo device and select the unit on
the device screen to pair

Remove protective cap
Clean the central area
of forehead
Aim at middle of forehead,
1/2 – 2 inches away from skin
Press and release the POWER button. Hold
thermometer in place until 2 beeps are heard
and temperature is displayed on LCD.
View the measurement on the Masimo device
screen as well as on the TIR-1 unit

move to next measurement (‘02’)
To View:
>Press and hold SET button
for 5sec for current date and time

>To change section press SET button
