• Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance.
• Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label
information.
• Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National
Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements.
• To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot.

• Wear gloves and safety glasses at all times when removing luminaire from
carton, installing, servicing or performing maintenance.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
• Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
• Don't touch the lamp when in use.
• Always switch off the mains supply. 5-10 minutes later to replace the lamp after the
used lamp has cooled down.

• For Residential installation: If you are unsure about the installation or
maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and
check your local electrical code.

General Instructions
1. Read assembly instructions before you begin.
2. Check that all components are present and in good condition:
A. Base
B. Bottom tube
C. ower tube
D. Upper tube
E. Neck
F. amp shade
G. 12W & 12W ED amps
Assembly Instructions
Note: To remove wire slack between the base, bottom tube, lower
tube, upper tube, and neck pull the cord from the base
after connecting the pieces together.
1. Align base, bottom tube, lower tube, upper tube, and the neck.
2. Screw the bottom tube into the base.
3. Screw the lower tube into the bottom tube.
4. Screw the upper tube into the lower tube.
5. Screw the neck into the upper tube.
6. Screw the lamp shade in.
7. Screw both ED lamps into sockets.
8. Plug power cord into wall socket and turn on torchiere.

Max ite or its authorized distributor/dealer (the “Warranty Period”), as follows: If a Product fails to operate during the
Warranty Period as a result of defects in materials or workmanship, Max ite will, at its option, repair it, replace it with
the same or like Product.
