The Dustblocker 900 from MAXVAC has been manufactured with the greatest
care, and we hope that you will be happy with the Dustblocker 900 you have
just purchased. However, if the Dustblocker 900 does not fully comply with your
expectations, please contact your supplier.

CAUTION
GENERAL
The Dustblocker 900 can only be used for ltering dry, non-explosive dust. The
Dustblocker 900 cannot be used in moist rooms or rooms where an explosion
hazard may exist.
MAXVAC cannot be held liable if the Dustblocker 900 is used for other
applications or if the Dustblocker 900 is not used in accordance with this user
manual.
Prior to using the Dustblocker 900, please read the complete manual rst.
Only use spare parts for the Dustblocker 900 that are supplied by MAXVAC or
appointed distributor.
Damaged cables that have been bent or torn, can be dangerous during use
of the device and must be replaced immediately in order to prevent personal
injuries.
Connect the device to an earthed socket in order to prevent personal injuries.
In order to prevent personal injuries and property damages you must place the
device on a sturdy foundation, so that the Dustblocker 900 cannot fall over.
Make sure your ngers do not get stuck when opening and closing the machine.
In order to prevent a risk of explosion, you should not place the device in a room
that may contain explosive gasses.
These instructions are intended for the MAXVAC Dustblocker 900.
When removing the packaging, please check whether the Dustblocker 900
has been damaged during transport.

OPERATION
First switch the device’s switch to ‘OFF’ (middle position) before removing the
plug from the socket. If the switch is on ‘ON’, sparks may be generated between
the socket and the plug of the device.
Prior to performing maintenance, rst remove the plug from the socket in order
to prevent personal injuries.
When replacing the pre-lter or hepalter it is possible that dust is dispersed
that can be dangerous for people’s health. Therefore, users should wear safety
glasses, safety gloves and a respiration mask that comply with protection class
FFP2.
Do not drill through the H14 hepalter in order to avoid dust dispersion.
The operating panel is at the side of
the Dustblocker 900, and is virtually
identical for all models.
At the top of the operating panel you
will see from left to right:
a Red led with a warning signal (gives
a signal if the H14/G4 lter has to be
replaced).
a Black switch (position I - O). Connect
the plug to the socket and press the
switch to start the device.

FILTERS AND FILTER
OPERATION
The Dustblocker 900 separates the dust in two phases:
During the rst phase, the G4 pre-lter is used. The lter collects the larger dust
particles and protects the H14 hepalter. See the replacement table containing the
recommended periods for changing the G4 pre-lter.
During the second phase, the H14
hepalter is used. This lter will collect
the dust that is dangerous for people’s
health and that is not visible to the
naked eye. See the replacement table
containing the recommended periods for
changing the H14 hepalter.
For replacing the G4 pre-lter as well
as the H14 main lter you must take the
airow into account. The air is sucked
in at the side of the lters and blown out
at the opposite sideAt the front of your
Dustblocker 900 you will see a G4 pre-
lter. In case of daily use, we recommend
changing it 2x per year. Of course, this
depends on the contamination of the
air in the environment. If you regularly
replace your pre-lter, you will relieve the
strain on the hepalter.
To replace the lters, pull the spring clips
out and remove the front cover. Replace
the lters in the same order and as per
direction or row on the lter

If the H14 hepalter is exposed to water, this may shorten
or end the lter’s life span.
G4 pre-lters and H14 hepalters cannot be cleaned and
must be replaced if they are saturated.
