BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄßER GEBRAUCH
■Das Gerät ist ein Ventilator mit inte-
grierter Luftreinigungsfunktion, der
für kleinere Flächen geeignet ist. Das
Gerät ersetzt keine Klimaanlage.
■Das Gerät ist kein Ersatz für ausrei-
chendes Lüften.
■Das Gerät eignet sich nicht zum Ge-
brauch als (Dunst-)Abzugshaube.
■Das Gerät nicht in Innenräumen
verwenden, in denen (Rauch-)Insek-
tenschutzmittel benutzt wurde, oder
an Orten mit öligen Rückständen,
Verbrennungsöfen oder chemischen
Dämpfen.
■Das Gerät ist nicht dafür ausgelegt,
Kohlenmonoxid- (CO) oder Radon-
(Rn) Gase aus der Luft zu filtern. Es ist
nicht als Sicherheitseinrichtung bei
Unfällen mit Verbrennungsvorgän-
gen und gefährlichen Chemikalien
geeignet.
■Das Gerät ist für den privaten Ge-
brauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche
Nutzung bestimmt.
■Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen
Zweck und nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Beschädi-
gung oder Reparaturversuche entste-
hen. Dies gilt auch für den normalen
Verschleiß.

■Das Gerät ausschließlich mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil
(DZ012ELL120100V) verwenden. Das mitgelieferte Netzteil
nicht mit einem anderen Gerät verwenden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht sowie vor dem
Reinigen und dem Wechsel des HEPA13-Filters stets auszu-
schalten und vom Netz zu trennen.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Wenn das Ge-
rät oder die Anschlussleitung beschädigt sind, müssen diese
durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich qualifi-
zierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt bzw. repariert wer-
den, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räu-
men verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüs-
sigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstel-
len, dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen
oder nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen,
sofort das Netzteil aus der Steckdose
ziehen. Erst danach das Gerät aus
dem Wasser herausholen. Niemals
versuchen, es aus dem Wasser zu
ziehen, während es an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist!
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn das Gerät an das Strom-
netz angeschlossen ist.
■Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn es
eine Fehlfunktion hatte, herunterge-
fallen oder ins Wasser gefallen ist.
Vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme in einer
Fachwerkstatt überprüfen lassen.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
leicht entzündbaren Materialien
(Gardinen, Textilien, etc.) verwenden.
Keine brennbaren Materialien (z.B.
Pappe, Papier, Kunststoff) auf das
Gerät legen.
■Keine entzündlichen Stoffe wie z.B.
Lufterfrischer oder ähnliche Produkte
in unmittelbarer Nähe des Gerätes
verwenden.
■Nichts in die Öffnungen des Gerätes
stecken und sicherstellen, dass diese
nicht verstopft sind. Mit verstopften
Öffnungen darf das Gerät nicht ver-
wendet werden.
WARNUNG – Verletzungs-
gefahr
■Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern
und Tieren fernhalten. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr!
■Sicherstellen, dass die Anschluss-
leitung stets außer Reichweite von
Kleinkindern und Tieren ist. Es be-
steht Strangulationsgefahr.
■Kleidungsstücke wie Tücher, Schals,
Schmuck, Krawatten sowie lange
Haare und Finger vom Gerät fern-
halten.

■Darauf achten, dass die Anschluss-
leitung keine Stolpergefahr darstellt.
Es besteht Sturzgefahr.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie nicht gequetscht oder
geknickt wird und nicht mit heißen
Flächen in Berührung kommt.
■Das Gerät ausschalten und das Netz-
teil aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn
während des Betriebes ein Fehler
auftritt, oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Das Gerät immer zuerst ausschalten,
bevor das Netzteil aus der Steckdose
gezogen wird. Beim Herausziehen
aus der Steckdose immer am Netzteil
und nie am Netzkabel ziehen!
■Das Gerät niemals an der Anschluss-
leitung ziehen oder tragen.
■Das Gerät vor anderen Wärmequellen,
offenem Feuer, Minustemperaturen,
lang anhaltender Feuchtigkeit und
Stößen schützen.
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf das
Gerät legen oder stellen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Her-
stellers verwenden, um die Funkti-
onsweise des Gerätes nicht zu beein-
trächtigen und eventuelle Schäden zu
verhindern.
FUNKTIONSÜBERSICHT
Das Gerät verfügt über zwei verschie-
dene Lüfter: einen verstellbaren mit drei
einstellbaren Geschwindigkeitsstufen
und einen in der Haupteinheit, der zur
Luftreinigung dient. Beide Lüfter können
entweder zusammen oder getrennt von-
einander betrieben werden.
Fan / Speed
Über die Taste Fan / Speed (4) wird der
obere, verstellbare Ventilationslüfter (8)
eingeschaltet. Dieser beginnt auf der
niedrigsten Stufe (Low) zu arbeiten. Die
entsprechende Kontrollleuchte (6) leuch-
tet. Durch mehrfaches Berühren der Tas-
te Fan / Speed kann die Geschwindigkeit
angepasst werden. Die Stufe ist anhand
der Kontrollleuchten (Low-Medium-High)
zu erkennen.
Der Ventilationslüfter kann durch Ziehen
an der hinteren Kante von der Hauptein-
heit gelöst und in einem Winkel bis zu
90° aufgestellt werden.
Zum Ausschalten des Ventilationslüfters
muss die Taste Fan / Speed ca. 3 Sekun-
den gedrückt werden. Die Kontrollleuch-
ten erlöschen.
Air Purifier
Über die Taste Air Purifier (5) wird der
Luftreinigungslüfter (2) in der Hauptein-
heit eingeschaltet. Die Kontrollleuchte
Purify (7) leuchtet. Nun wird Luft einge-
sogen, mithilfe des HEPA13-Filters (10)
gereinigt und anschließend nach oben
abgegeben.
Zum Ausschalten des Luftreinigungslüf-
ters die Taste Air Purifier erneut drücken.
Die Kontrollleuchte Purify erlischt.
L Um die gefilterte Luft besser zu
verteilen empfehlen wir, beide
Lüfter einzuschalten.

BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät muss einen Freiraum von
mindestens 30 cm nach oben und
zu allen Seiten haben und auf einem
trockenen, ebenen und festen Unter-
grund stehen.
■Vor der Benutzung sicherstellen, dass
der HEPA13-Filter korrekt sitzt.
■Das Netzteil nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Steckdose, die mit
den technischen Daten des Netzteils
übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem An-
schließen gut zugänglich sein, damit
die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann.
■Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt
betreiben, um im Falle von Störungen
sofort eingreifen zu können.
1. Den Hohlstecker des Netzteils mit
der Anschlussbuchse des Gerätes
verbinden.
2. Das Gerät am gewünschten Standort
positionieren.
L Für eine effiziente Funktionsweise
empfehlen wir, die Fenster und
Türen des Raumes zu schließen.
3. Die Anschlussleitung vollständig
auseinanderwickeln und an eine gut
zugängliche Steckdose anschließen.
Alle Kontrollleuchten (6+7) leuchten
einmal auf und erlöschen wieder.
Das Gerät befindet sich im Standby-
Modus.
4. Das Gerät einschalten und nach Be-
darf einstellen (siehe Kapitel „Funkti-
onsübersicht“).
5. Soll das Gerät nicht mehr verwen-
det werden, das Gerät ausschalten
(siehe Kapitel „Funktionsübersicht“)
und das Netzteil aus der Steckdose
ziehen.
REINIGUNG UND
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Beachten!
■Der HEPA13-Filter kann und darf
nicht gereinigt werden.
■Zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder
Reinigungspads verwenden. Diese
können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
• Das Gerät bei Bedarf mit einem wei-
chen, feuchten Tuch abwischen.
• Das Gerät bei Nichtgebrauch vor
Staub geschützt an einem sauberen,
trockenen, für Kinder und Tiere unzu-
gänglichen Ort aufbewahren.
WARTUNG
Das Gerät muss arbeitsbereit gehalten
werden, das bedeutet der HEPA13-Filter
muss regelmäßig (etwa alle 3–6 Mona-
te) ausgetauscht werden. Die genauen
Abstände, in denen der HEPA13-Filter ge-
tauscht werden muss, hängen dabei von
der Luftqualität und der Nutzungsfrequenz
des Gerätes ab.

1. Das Gerät so drehen, dass die Unter-
seite nach oben zeigt.
2. Den Deckel (9) gegen den Uhrzeiger-
sinn drehen, sodass die Markierung
auf dem Deckel auf die Markierung
des -Symbols zeigt (Bild B).
3. Den Deckel abnehmen und den ver-
brauchten HEPA13-Filter (10) aus der
Haupteinheit herausnehmen.
4. Den neuen HEPA13-Filter in das
Gerät setzen.

5. Den Deckel ins Gerät setzen und im
Uhrzeigersinn festdrehen, sodass die
Markierung auf dem Deckel auf die
Markierung des -Symbols zeigt. Er
muss hör- und spürbar einrasten.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten
das Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenser-
vice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektrisches
Gerät selbst zu reparieren!
Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.
Das Gerät wird nicht mit Strom versorgt.
►Kontrollieren, ob
○der Hohlstecker richtig in der An-
schlussbuchse am Gerät steckt.
○das Netzteil in der Steckdose steckt.
○die Steckdose defekt ist.
○die Sicherung des Netzanschlusses
eingelegt ist.
Die Taste Fan / Speed (4) bzw. Air Puri-
fier (5) wurde nicht (richtig) gedrückt.
►Die Taste Fan / Speed bzw. Air Puri-
fier drücken.
Die Sicherung im Sicherungskasten
wird ausgelöst.
Zu viele Geräte am selben Stromkreis
angeschlossen.
►Anzahl der Geräte im Stromkreis
reduzieren.
Während des Gebrauchs lässt sich ein
unangenehmer Geruch feststellen.
Das Gerät wird zum ersten Mal verwendet.
►Eine Geruchsentwicklung tritt bei
der ersten Benutzung neuer Geräte
häufig auf. Der Geruch verschwindet,
nachdem das Gerät mehrmals be-
nutzt wurde.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial um-
weltgerecht entsorgen und der
Wertstoffsammlung zuführen.
Dieses Gerät unterliegt der euro-
päischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU für
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte
(WEEE). Dieses Gerät nicht als
normalen Hausmüll, sondern um-
weltgerecht über einen behördlich
zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb
entsorgen.

■The device is a fan with an integrated
air purification function that is suitable
for smaller spaces. The device is not
a substitute for an air-conditioning
system.
■The device is not a substitute for
adequate ventilation.
■The device is not suitable for use as a
(fume) extractor hood.
■Do not use the device indoors where
smoky or gaseous insect repellents
have been used, or in places with
oily residues, incinerators or chemical
vapours.
■The device is not designed to filter
carbon monoxide (CO) or radon (Rn)
gases from the air. It is not suitable as
a safety device for accidents involving
combustion and hazardous chemicals.
■The device is for personal use only
and is not intended for commercial
applications.
■Use the device only for the specified
purpose and as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use
is deemed to be improper.
■The warranty does not cover faults
caused by incorrect handling, dam-
age or attempted repairs. The same
applies to normal wear and tear.

■The device must always be switched off and disconnected
from the mains power when left unattended and before clean-
ing it and replacing the HEPA13 filter.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. If the device or
the connecting cable are damaged, they must be replaced or
repaired by the manufacturer, customer service department or
a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – Danger of Electric
Shock
■Use and store the device only in
closed rooms.
■Do not use the device in rooms with
high humidity.
■Never immerse the device and the
connecting cable in water or other
liquids and ensure that these com-
ponents cannot fall into water or
become wet.
■If the device falls into water, pull the
mains adapter out of the plug socket
immediately. Only after this should
you retrieve the device from the
water. Never attempt to pull it out of
the water while it is connected to the
mains power!
■Never touch the device and the con-
necting cable with wet hands when
the device is connected to the mains
power.
■Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned, fallen or been dropped
into water. Have it checked in a spe-
cialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■Do not use the device in the vicinity of
highly flammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.). Do not place any com-
bustible materials (e.g. cardboard,
paper, plastic) on the device.
■Do not use flammable substances
such as air fresheners or similar prod-
ucts in the immediate vicinity of the
device.
■Do not insert anything into the open-
ings of the device and make sure that
they do not become clogged. The
device must not be used with blocked
openings.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■Keep the packaging material away
from children and animals. There is a
danger of suffocation!
■Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
small children and animals. There is a
danger of strangulation.
■Keep items of clothing such as
scarves, shawls, jewellery, ties and
long hair and fingers away from the
device.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard. There
is a danger of tripping over it.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■Lay the connecting cable in such
a way that it does not become
squashed or bent and does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
■Switch off the device and pull the
mains adapter out of the plug socket
if an error occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■Always switch off the device first
before the mains adapter is pulled out
of the plug socket. When you pull the
mains adapter out of the plug socket,
always pull on the mains adapter and
never the mains cable!
■Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■Protect the device from other heat
sources, naked flames, sub-zero
temperatures, persistent moisture and
impacts.
■Do not lay or place heavy objects on
the device.
■Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW
The device has two different fans: an
adjustable one with three speed settings
and one in the main unit that is used for
purifying the air. Both fans can be operat-
ed either together or separately from one
another.
Fan / Speed
The Fan / Speed button (4) is used to
switch on the top, adjustable ventilation
fan (8). It starts operating on the lowest
setting (Low). The corresponding control
lamp(6) lights up. The speed can be ad-
justed by pressing the Fan / Speed but-
ton several times. You can tell which level
is set from the control lamps (Low-Medi-
um-High).
The ventilation fan can be detached from
the main unit by pulling on the rear edge
and set up at an angle of up to 90°.
To switch off the ventilation fan, the
Fan / Speed button needs to be pressed
for approx. 3 seconds. The control lamps
go out.
Air Purifier
The Air Purifier button (5) is used to
switch on the air purifier fan (2) in the
main unit. The Purify control lamp (7)
lights up. Air is then sucked in, purified
using the HEPA13 filter (10) and then
emitted upwards.
To switch off the air purifier fan, press
the Air Purifier button again. The Purify
control lamp goes out.
L To distribute the filtered air bet-
ter, we recommend switching on
both fans.
USE
Please Note!
■The device must have clearance of at
least 30 cm above it and to all sides
and be placed on a dry, even and
solid surface.
■Make sure that the HEPA13 filter is
fitted correctly before using it.
■Only connect the mains adapter to a
plug socket that is properly installed
and matches the technical data of
the mains adapter. The plug socket
must also be readily accessible after
connection so that the connection to
the mains can quickly be isolated.
■Do not operate the device unsuper-
vised so that you can intervene imme-
diately if there are any faults.

1. Connect the barrel connector of
the mains adapter to the connecting
socket of the device.
2. Position the device at the location you
want.
L For efficient operation we recom-
mend closing the windows and
doors of the room.
3. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and connect it to an easily accessible
plug socket. All control lamps (6+7)
light up once and then go out again.
The device is in standby mode.
4. Switch on the device and adjust it as
required (see the “Functional Over-
view” chapter).
5. If the device is no longer going to be
used, switch off the device (see the
“Functional Overview” chapter) and
pull the mains adapter out of the plug
socket.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■The HEPA13 filter cannot and must
not be cleaned.
■Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
• Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
• Wipe down the device with a soft,
damp cloth if necessary.
• Store the device in a clean, dry place
which is protected from dust and is
out of the reach of children and ani-
mals when it is not in use.
MAINTENANCE
The device must be kept ready to
operate, which means the HEPA13 filter
must be replaced regularly (roughly
every 3–6months). The precise intervals
at which the HEPA13 filter has to be re-
placed depend on the air quality and the
frequency of use of the device.

1. Turn over the device so that the
bottom is facing upwards.
2. Twist the lid (9) anticlockwise so that
the marking on the lid points towards
the marking of the symbol
(PictureB).
3. Take off the lid and take the used
HEPA13 filter (10) out of the main unit.
4. Insert the new HEPA13 filter into the
device.
5. Insert the lid into the device and
secure it by twisting it clockwise so
that the marking on the lid points
towards the marking of the symbol.
You must hear and feel it engage.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The device is not supplied with power.
►Check whether
○the barrel connector is inserted
correctly in the connecting socket
on the device.
○the mains adapter is inserted in the
plug socket.
○the plug socket is defective.
○the fuse of the mains connection is
inserted.
The Fan / Speed button (4) or Air Pu-
rifier button (5) has not been pressed
(correctly).
►Press the Fan / Speed or Air Purifier
button.
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices connected to the same
circuit.
►Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.
During use, an unpleasant smell is
detected.
The device is being used for the first time.
►A smell often develops when new
devices are first used. The smell
disappears once the device has been
used several times.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
This device is governed by the
European Directive 2012/19/EU
on waste electrical and electron-
ic equipment (WEEE). Do not
dispose of this device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an
environmentally friendly manner

fonction intégrée de purification d’air
adapté aux petites surfaces. Cet ap-
pareil n’est pas une climatisation.
■Cet appareil n’exonère pas d’aérer
suffisamment les pièces.
■L’appareil n’est pas conçu pour être
utilisé en tant que hotte (aspirante).
■Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à l’intérieur
de locaux dans lesquels des insecti-
cides (fumigènes) ont été utilisés ou
dans des lieux contenant des résidus
huileux, des incinérateurs ou des
vapeurs chimiques.

■Utilisez l’appareil uniquement avec le bloc d’alimentation
fourni (DZ012ELL120100V). Ne pas utiliser le bloc d’alimenta-
tion fourni avec un autre appareil.
■L’appareil doit toujours être éteint puis débranché du secteur
lorsqu’il n’est pas sous surveillance, avant d’être nettoyé et
avant de remplacer son filtre HEPA13.
■Ne procéder à aucune modification sur l’appareil. Si l’appareil
ou son cordon de raccordement sont endommagés, c’est au
fabricant, au service après-vente ou à toute personne aux qua-
lifications similaires (par ex. un atelier spécialisé) qu’il revient
de les remplacer ou de les réparer afin d’éviter tout danger.
DANGER – Risque d’électro-
cution
■Utiliser et ranger l’appareil uniquement
à l’intérieur.
■Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans des
pièces à fort taux d’humidité.
■Ne jamais plonger l’appareil et le
cordon de raccordement dans l’eau
ou tout autre liquide et s’assurer qu’ils
ne risquent pas de tomber dans l’eau
ou d’être mouillés.
■Si l’appareil devait tomber à l’eau,
débrancher immédiatement le bloc
d’alimentation de la prise de courant.
Extraire ensuite seulement l’appa-
reil de l’eau! Ne jamais essayer de
l’extraire de l’eau tant qu’il est encore
raccordé au réseau électrique!
■Ne jamais saisir l’appareil ni le cordon
de raccordement à mains humides
lorsque l’appareil est raccordé au
réseau électrique.
■Ne pas utiliser l’appareil en cas de
dysfonctionnement, s’il est tombé
par terre ou dans l’eau. Avant toute
remise en service, le faire contrôler
dans un atelier spécialisé.

■L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé à
proximité de matériaux facilement
inflammables (rideaux, textiles, etc.).
Ne pas poser de matières inflam-
mables (par ex. du carton, du papier,

chisseurs d’air ou d’autres produits
similaires, à proximité directe de

■N’introduire aucun objet dans les ou-

ces dernières ne sont pas obstruées,
l’appareil ne devant pas être utilisé
lorsque ses ouvertures sont bouchées.
