Insert pump as shown until it stops/turn clockwise until click
Attach the luer connection - make sure the
connection is tighten securely
Attach rinsing fluid, connect the connecting tube to pump
Connecting tube: close clamp/spike into rinsing fluid/open venting cover

3. Test of water jet
Press foot on/off switch
•For a vusual test of water jet (flat or
point, water jet thickness)
•To test the water jet intensity on your
hand – start with a distance of 25 cm
(approx. twice the hanpiece-length).
Guide the jet starting at the wound
edge, and move the jet slightly back
and forth.
•If something doesn‘t work, replace the
handpiece
4. Optimal working parameters
Intensity levels at START for each handpiece : Level 4
(Level 1-5/weak-strong)

Contraindication
• Malignant tumours
• Open blood vessel lesions, unprotected vascular systems
• Eyes, nose and ears
• Exposed nervous/neurovascular beams
• Complex and/or highly contaminated wounds
• Patients with HIV, hepatitis C or other transmissible diseases/infection
Warning: In the following cases, the risks when using the device increase:
• Patients with a higher tendency to bleeding and arterial ulcers
• Patients with infected wounds
In such cases, the doctor must decide whether and in what form the treatment should
be provided
