INTENDED USE
• The device is intended to be used for massaging and for warming the lower back. The device
also has a cooling function. It is used for relaxation and is not a replacement for medically
required treatment.
• Never stand on the device.
• Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may
lead to problems getting to sleep.
• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• The device should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.
• The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, or attempted
repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear.
SAFETY NOTICES
WARNING: Note all safety notices, instructions, illustrations and technical data
provided with this device.
Failure to follow the safety notices and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
injuries.
• This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and also by people with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood
the dangers resulting from failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions. Children
must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.
• Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the
connecting cable.
• Only use the main adapter or car adapter that is supplied with the device. Do not use the
main adapter or car adapter supplied with another device.
• The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to heat or cold and may not be
used by other vulnerable people who are unable to react to overheating or undercooling.
• Do not use the device if it is wet or damp. It must be completely dry before it is used.
•
No safety pins or other sharp or pointed objects must be attached to the device or inserted into it.
• Do not switch on the device when it is folded up. It must always be spread out prior to use to
prevent the build-up of heat.
•
Always check the device and accessories for damage or wear before putting them into operation.
It may only be used if it is undamaged and does not display any signs of wear and tear.
• Do not make any modifications to the device.
• If the device or accessories are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer,
customer service department or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.
•
The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
• The device must always be disconnected from the main power when it is left unattended and
before assembling, disassembling and cleaning the device.
• Always allow the device to cool down completely before it is folded up and / or stored away.
• To ensure that the device is not damaged, fold it up loosely, do not press it together firmly or
bend it. Do not place any objects, animals or people on the folded device.
• The device should only be stored out of the reach of children and animals. Incorrect operation
may lead to injuries and electric shocks.

DANGER – DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate it outdoors or in closed areas
with high humidity.
• Never touch the device and accessories with wet hands when these components are
connected to the main power.
• Never immerse the device and accessories in water or other liquids and ensure that these
components do not fall into water or become wet. In addition, the device must not become
wet during use.
• Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to
pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the main power!
• Have it checked by a specialist workshop before using it again.
WARNING – DANGER OF INJURY
• Only use the device if you have no physical illnesses or ailments!
• Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
• Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out of the reach
of small children and animals.
• Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip hazard.
• Babies and sleeping or unconscious people may not be placed on the device.
• Pregnant women should not use the device or use it only after consultation with their doctor.
• People with a pacemaker may use the device only after consultation with their doctor.
• Switch off the device immediately if you experience pain or feel unwell during use.
• If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a doctor.
• Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.
• The device may only be used by people who are able to handle the controller.
WARNING – DANGER OF FIRE
• Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances. Never
operate the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
• Keep the device and accessories away from fire and other heat sources.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
• Only connect the main adapter to a properly installed plug socket. The plug socket must also
be readily accessible after connection so that the connection can quickly be isolated. The
main voltage must match the rating plate of the device and the main adapter.
• The device must be switched off when the main adapter or car adapter is being unplugged or
plugged into the plug socket or cigarette lighter.
• Never wrap the main cable around the device or the main adapter or the car adapter.
• Do not pull or carry the device by the main cable. Always pull the plug and never the main
cable to disconnect the device from the main power or disconnect the connecting cables!
• Make sure that the connecting cable is not crushed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no
interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage.
• Protect the device from heat, frost, direct sunlight, wet conditions and impacts.
• In the event of damage/faults (e.g. unusual noises, odor or smoke development) and in a
thunderstorm, switch the device off immediately and disconnect it from the power supply.

Check the items supplied for completeness and transport damage. If there is any damage, do not
use the device but contact our customer service department. Never remove the rating plate and

Massage Mat Control

HOW TO USE
PLEASE NOTE!
• Do not use the device while driving a motor vehicle.
• Unwind the connecting cable fully before use.
• The massage mat must not be folded up or covered when it is switched on. Do not place the
controller and the connecting cable on or under the massage mat during operation.
1. Join together the seat surface (8) and back surface (1) using the hook and loop fastener.
2. Plug together the connecting cables (9) of the two surfaces.
3. Place the massage mat on the seat and fix it in place there with its fastening straps. To secure
it to a car seat, the seat surface also has two rubber loops which can be placed around the
adjusting wheels for the backrest of the car seat.
4. Connect the coaxial connector of the main adapter or car adapter to the socket of the device.
5. Plug the main adapter into an easily accessible plug socket or plug the car adapter into the
cigarette lighter of the vehicle.
6. Sit down on the massage mat and lean back.
7. Start the ignition if using the device in a vehicle.
8. Press the I/O button (12) to activate the massage mat. The vibration and also the heating or
cooling function can then be switched on:
- Start and stop the vibration by pressing the button (13). Various types of vibrations
are sequenced through after the start.
– To activate the two level heating function press the button (15). Press once for high
heat. Press twice for low heat. Press a third time to turn heating function off.
– If the button (14) is pressed once, the cooling switches on at the highest level. There
are five cooling levels. Each further press of the button switches the cooling to a
lower level until it is switched off entirely.
- NOTE: The heating and cooling functions cannot be switched on at the same time. The
vibration and heating function are automatically switched off after 30 minutes of constant
operation.
9. After use, press the I/O button to switch the device off completely.
10. Pull the main adapter out of the plug socket or pull the car adapter out of the cigarette
lighter.
11. Allow the device to cool down if the heating function was activated before it is stored away
(see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
• When storing it away, do not press the massage mat together too strongly and do not
use any force. It could be damaged.
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for cleaning. These may
damage the surfaces.
• Make sure that the massage mat is not connected to the main power.
• Wipe down the massage mat and the controller (5) with a damp cloth. Then dry it with a soft
cloth or allow it to dry in the air.
• Loosely fold up the massage mat and place it together with the controller in the associated
packaging. Store the device in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is
out of the reach of children and animals.
• Do not place any objects on the folded massage mat, so that it is not compressed.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, first check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can
be recycled.
This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this device as normal domestic
waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an officially approved waste
disposal company
Problem Possible Cause How to Fix

• All cables are correctly connected to each
other.
• The main adapter is plugged in the plug socket
or the car adapter is plugged in the cigaree

defecve.
• The fuse of the main connecon is inserted
The device is overheated.
The device was in

succession / for too long.
Disconnect the main connecon and allow the
device to cool down. Always disconnect the
device from the main when it is not in use.
The device makes noises. Operang noises are a normal consequence of the mechanics and not a defect.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Your Medic Therapeutics Product is backed by a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
Medic Therapeutics will repair or replace your device at any time should it fail due to a defect
in material or workmanship, subject to the certain limitations.
This limited warranty does not cover any damage that results from unauthorized or improper
use, service, or repair. Further, it does not cover damage caused by accident, impact,
negligence, or normal wear and tear. Should you discover your Medic Therapeutics Product is
not functioning properly, please send your device to our repair center for evaluation. If your
product cannot be repaired or serviced, we will reserve the right to change it for a similar or
newer model.
Please note that a flat rate of $35.00 will be charged to cover a service evaluation fee and
return shipping of your device. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a copy of your
proof of purchase from an authorized retailer. Please send your device, proof of purchase,
and a check or money order in the amount of $35.00 made out to Medic Therapeutics to:
