temperatures from 0°C to 60°C.
− Unplug the mains adapter during storms.
− Wait for the device to adjust to the ambient temperature before
using it or connecting the mains adapter. Large differences in
temperature and humidity can lead to condensation inside the
device that can cause a short circuit.

and direct sunlight in the car.
− Keep the original packaging in the event the device needs to
be sent in the post.

General notes on rechargeable batteries
When using rechargeable batteries, it is important to ensure correct
use and charging so that the capacity of the battery is fully utilised
and its service life is maintained as long as possible. The optimum
charging temperature is about 20°C.
− Pay attention to the correct storage of the battery when the
device is not used for a long time.
− Carry out a complete discharge/charge cycle once a month.
Then store the device with approx. 100% of the battery
capacity. This prevents the battery from being completely
discharged so that it is permanently damaged/can no longer
be charged.
− The battery/device should not be charged unattended.
− During charging, the battery/device should not be placed on
sensitive or highly flammable materials.
Charging the battery
You can recharge the battery using either the mains adapter or the
supplied car adapter.
Charging with a mains adapter is much faster. When the mains adapter is
connected and switched on, the battery charges automatically regardless
of whether the device is switched on or not. The charging process takes
significantly longer when the device is switched on. The charging process
is interrupted if the battery voltage or temperature gets too high.
