following page.
LPgastanksmustbe stored outdoorsin a
well-ventilated area and outofthe reachof
children.DisconnectedLPgastanks mustnot
be stored inabuilding,garage oranyother
enclosed area.
When yourgasgrill isnotin usethegas
mustbe turnedoff attheLPgastank.
TheRegulatorand Hoseassemblycan be seen
afteropeningthedoors(ifapplicable),and
mustbeinspected beforeeachuseofthe
grill.Ifthereisexcessiveabrasion orwear
orifthehoseiscut,itmustbereplaced
priortothe grillbeingused again.
KeepthegasRegulatorHoseawayfromhot
grillsurfacesanddripping grease.Avoid
unnecessary twisting ofhose.Visuallyinspect
hosepriortoeachuseforcuts,cracks,
excessivewearorotherdamage.Ifthe Hose
appearsdamaged do notusethe gasgrill,
callourGrillInformation Centerforareplace-
ment,at1-800-770-9769.
Never lightyourgasgrillwiththe Lidclosed
orbeforecheckingtoensuretheBurnerTubes
arefullyseatedovertheGasValveOrifices.
Never allowchildrentooperateyourgrill.Do
notallowchildren toplaynearyourgrill.

NaturalGasSafetyInstructions
YourNatural GasGrillisdesigned tooperateon
NaturalGasonly,atapressureof7"watercolumn
(W.C.)(1/4psigor1.75kpa),regulatedatthe
residentialmeter.Check withyourgasutility
companyforlocalgaspressureandwithyourlocal
municipalityforbuildingcoderequirements.If
yourresidentialgasline pressurehasnot been
regulated to7"W.C., contactyourlocalgas
utilitycompanyforprofessionalassistance.
ThegaspressureRegulatorsuppliedwiththis
appliancemustbe used.ThisRegulatorisset
foranoutletpressureof4"W.C.
It isrecommendedthataShutOff Valvebe installed
at thegassupplysourceoutdoors.Install atapoint
afterthe gaspipeexitstheoutsidewalland beforethe
QuickDisconnectHose, orinstall itat the point
beforethegaslinepipingenters theground.See
Figure1.
Pipesealingcompoundorpipethreadtaperesistant
tothe actionofNaturalGasmustbeusedon allmale
pipe threadswhenmakingtheconnection.
Disconnectyourgasgrill fromfuelsourcewhen
the gassupplyisbeingtestedat high pressures.
Thisgasgrillanditsindividual ShutOffValvemust
be disconnected fromthe gassupplypipe system
during anypressuretesting ofthatsystemat
pressurein excess of1/2psi(3.5kpa).
Turnoffyourgasgrillwhenthe gassupplyis
tested atlowpressures.The grill mustbe isolated
fromthe gassupplypipesystembyclosing its
individual ManualShutOffValveduring any
pressuretesting ofthe gassupplypipe systemat
pressuresequaltoorlessthan1/2psi(3.5kpa).
The Quick Disconnectconnectstoa3/8inchNPT
threadfromgassource.The QuickDisconnect
fittingisahandoperateddevicethatautomatically
shutsoff the theflowofgasfromthe sourcewhen
it isdisconnected.
TheQuickDisconnectfittingcanbeinstalled
horizontally,orpointingdownward.DONOT install
the fitting withthe opening pointingupward
becausethe fitting couldcollectwaterand debris.
The Dust Covers(plasticplugs)provided withthe
Quick Disconnecthelpkeeptheopenends
clean whiledisconnected.
The outdoorconnectormustbe firmlyattached to
aridged permanentconstruction.
TheQuickDisconnectMUSTBEinstalled above
ground.
WARNING: Donotroutethe 12 footQuick
DisconnectHoseunderadeck.The hosemustbe
visibleand inspected priortoeachgrilluse.

againstcorrosioninanapprovedmanner.
Undergroundpiping musthaveaminimumof18"
cover.

2.SetallControlKnobstoOFFand opentheLP
gasTankValveslowly until 1/4 to 1/2 open. For
NaturalGasopenShuttOff Valveatsourcecompletely.
3.Pushand turnthe Back BurnerControlKnob toON
positionand immediatelypushthecontrol knob for3-
4secondstolighttheBackBurner.
4.If the Burnerdoesnotlight, turnthe ControlKnob
toOFF,wait5minutesforgastoclear,thenretry.
5.Oncelit,theBackBurnerwill reachcooking
temperaturequickly.The orange/redglowwilleven
outinabout5minutes.
ReadAllInstructions:
1.Alwaysattachthe Rotisserietothe grill first,and
thenplugcordintoagroundedoutlet.Todisconnect,
turnRotisserie"OFF"then removeplugfromoutlet.

Thepowersupplycordhasa3-pronggroundedplug.
Foryourpersonalsafetydo not removethe grounding
prong.It mustbe plugged intoamating 3-prong

Cleaning TheFlame Tamers
Toreducethechanceofflare-ups,FlameTamers
should becleanedwheneverfoodorgreasedrippings
accumulate.Brushoff FlameTamerswithafibertype
brushandturnovertoallow theburnerheat toburnoff
anystubbornfoodresidue.The CeramicFlame
Tamers workequallywelloneitherside.

ThespacebetweentheSparkElectrode Tip and

ReplacetheBurnersand adjustthegascollector
box.Theedgeofthecollectorboxshouldbe
overlapping theBurnerPort.
ReplaceFlameTamersandtheCooking Grids.
Reconnectthegassourceand observetheBurner

brasswirebrushorfibercleaningpad,andwash
withamildsoapandwarmwatersolution. Rinse
