thosespecifiedbymanufacturer.
HaveyourLP gas tankfilled byareputable
propane gas dealer and visuallyinspected and
re-qualified at eachfilling.
Never fillthegas tankbeyond80%full.
Have your propanegasdealer checkthe
releasevalve after everyfilling toensure thatit
remainsfreeofdefects.
AlwayskeepLPgas tanksinuprightposition.
Donotstore (oruse)gasolineorother flammable
vapors and liquids in the vicinityofthis gas grill.
An LP gas tankthatis not connected for use must
NOTbestoredonbottomshelfinside cabinetorin
the vicinityofthis or anyother gas grill.
DonotsubjecttheLP gastanktoexcessive heat.
NeverstoreanLP gastank indoors.If you
store yourgas grill in thegarage or other
indoor location, always disconnecttheLPgas
tankfirst, store it safelyoutside.
LP gas tanksmustbe stored outdoors in a
well-ventilatedarea and out of thereach of
children. DisconnectedLPgastanks
must notbe stored in abuilding, garageor
anyother enclosedarea.
Whenyourgas grillis notinusethegas
mustbe turnedoffatthe LP gas tank.
Proper Placement and Clearance of Grill
Never useyour gas grill inagarage, porch, shed,
breezewayor any other enclosed area. Your gasgrill is
to be used outdoors only,at least 24 inches fromthe
backand side ofanycombustible surface. Your
gas grill should not be placed under anysurface
thatwill burn. Do not obstructthe flow of ventilation
andcombustionairaround the gasgrill housing.
This outdoor gas grill is not intended to be installed in
oronrecreational vehicles and/or boats.
The LP gas tankhasaShutOff Valve,
terminating in anLP gassupply tank valve
outlet, that iscompatible with aType 1tank
connectiondevice.TheLP gas tank must
also have asafetyrelief device thathas a
direct communication with the vapor space of
thetank.
Thetanksupplysystemmustbearranged
for vapor withdrawal.
The LP gas tankusedmust have acollar
to protectthetankvalve.

TheRegulator and Hoseassembly mustbe
inspected beforeeachuseofthe grill. Ifthere
is excessive abrasion or wearorif thehose
iscut, itmustbereplaced prior tothegrill
beingusedagain.
Keep thegas Regulator Hoseawayfromhot
grill surfaces and dripping grease.Avoid
unnecessarytwisting ofhose.Visually inspect
hose prior to each use for cuts, cracks,
excessivewear or otherdamage.IftheHose
appearsdamageddonotuse thegas grill,
callour Grill Information Center for a
replacement, at1-800-770-9769.
Never light your gas grill with the Lid closed
or beforechecking toinsure the Burner Tubes
arefully seated over the GasValveOrifices.
Never allow childrentooperateyour grill.Do
notallowchildrentoplaynear your grill.
Failureto comply with these instructions

NOTE: Thenormalflowof gas through the
Regulatorand Hose Assemblycancreate a
humming sound. Alow volumeof sound is
perfectlynormaland will not interfere with
operationofthe grill. Ifhummingsoundis
loud andexcessiveyou mayneed to purge
airfromthegasline or resetthe Regulator
excess gas flowdevice. Thispurging proce-
dure should be doneeverytimeanew LP

Shut off gas supplyto the gas grill.
Turn theControl KnobstoOFF position.
Put out anyflamewith aClass B fire
extinguisher.
Open Grill Lid.
Get awayfromthe LP gas tank.
Do not trytofix the problemyourself.
Ifodor continuesor youhaveafireyoucannot
extinguish,callyourfiredepartment. Do not call
nearthe LPgastankbecauseyourtelephoneis
anelectrical device and couldcreateaspark
resultinginfire and/or explosion.
