INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attention! Let the vehicle sit with the key
out of the ignition for a few minutes before
removing the factory radio. When testing the
aftermarket equipment, ensure that all factory
equipment is connected before cycling the
key to ignition.

† This kit can only be used with an ISO DDIN radio
with an “L” shaped chassis design, with the radio
chassis at the bottom of the screen. As of this
writing, only the Alpine INE-W967HD (discontinued,
replaced by INE-W977HD), iLX-107, and iLX-207 have
this design. Also, The Pioneer modular radios,
DMH-C2550NEX and DMH-C2500NEX, can be used
with the adapter brackets provided.

1. Unclip and remove the radio trim panel.

2. Unclip, unplug, and remove the climate
control panel. (Figure B)
3. Unclip, unplug, and remove the center
a/c vent and hazard switch assembly.

DASH DISASSEMBLY
4. Remove (4) 10mm screws securing the
bottom of the radio. Two screws will be
clearly visible, but two will be hidden,
facing upward. Unclip and slide the radio
out, then unplug and remove. (Figure D)

ISO DIN radio provision
1. Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim
ring from the aftermarket radio.
2. Secure the radio brackets to the radio
using screws supplied with the radio.
Note the location of the bracket on the
radio and the screw slots to be used.

3. Locate the factory wiring harness and
antenna connector in the dash and
complete all necessary connections to
the radio. Metra recommends using
the proper mating adapter from Metra
and/or Axxess. Test the radio for proper
operation.
4. Slide the radio assembly into the dash,
then secure using the factory screws.
5. Attach the ISO DIN radio trim panel to
the trim panel housing, then secure
using (4) Phillips screws provided
(Figure C)
6. Secure the trim panel housing clip
brackets to the trim panel/housing
assembly using (4) Phillips screws
provided. (Figure D)
7. Attach (2) panel clips provided onto the
trim panel/housing assembly.
8. Clip the trim panel/housing assembly to
the dash.
9. Reassemble the dash in reverse
order of disassembly to complete the
installation.

ISO DDIN radio provision
1. Secure the radio brackets to the radio
using screws supplied with the radio.
Note the location of the bracket on the
radio and the screw slots to be used.

the radio. Metra recommends using

and/or Axxess. Test the radio for proper
operation.
3. Slide the radio assembly into the dash,

to the trim panel housing, then secure
using (4) Phillips screws provided
(Figure C)
5. Secure the trim panel housing clip
brackets to the trim panel/housing
assembly using (4) Phillips screws
provided. (Figure D)
6. Attach (2) panel clips provided onto the
trim panel/housing assembly.
7. Clip the trim panel/housing assembly to
the dash.
8. Reassemble the dash in reverse
order of disassembly to complete the
installation.

Pioneer Modular DDIN radio provision
Note: For steps 1 and 2, reference the
installation manual provided with the radio
for which hardware to use. The display
screen and radio chassis use two different
types of screws.
1. Secure the Pioneer adapter brackets
to the radio chassis using (4) screws
supplied with the radio. (Figure A)
2. Secure the radio display to the Pioneer
adapter brackets using (4) screws
supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
Note: Use the screw slots in the adapter
bracket indicated in the inset.
3. Connect the radio display to the
radio chassis.

4. Secure the radio brackets to the radio
chassis using screws supplied with the
radio. Note the location of the bracket

7. Attach the ISO DDIN radio trim panel
to the trim panel housing, then secure
using (4) Phillips screws provided

8. Secure the trim panel housing clip
brackets to the trim panel housing
using (4) Phillips screws provided.

trim panel/housing assembly.
10. Clip the trim panel/housing assembly to
the dash.
11. Reassemble the dash in reverse
order of disassembly to complete the
installation.
