Product description
Orthosis consists of two shins made of plastic, which
cover medial and lateral ankle. These are padded with
soft foam and stabilizing bands which enables proper
placing and stabilization of ankle joint. Adjustable
plantar band provides circumferential regulation of
the orthosis and movements of ankle joint plantar and
dorsal exion.
Safety instructions
The brace should be used according to the instructions
given by the doctor or physiotherapist.
When used for the rst time, the support should be put
on by the experienced health-care personnel.
Before the rst use, please, read the user’s manual
carefully.

Orteza na staw skokowy TALU medical jest skutecz-
nym, leczniczym opatrunkiem odpowiadającym aktu-
alnemu poziomowi techniki. Ten podwójnie napinany
tkany opatrunek zapewnia bardzo dobre dopasowanie,
wbudowane na bokach elastyczne żelowe peloty dzia-
łają masująco na otaczającą tkankę i łagodzą dolegli-
wości w miejscach przyczepów mięśni i ścięgien.

Wskazania
Jeśli podczas użytkowania ortezy odczuwasz dyskom-
fort, pojawia się opuchlizna lub podrażnienia skóry
należy natychmiast skontaktować się z lekarzem lub
zjoterapeutą.
Użycie zgodne z przeznaczeniem i zalecenia
Stany pourazowe stawów skokowych (skręcenia,
zwichnięcia) w fazie leczenia czynnościowego, niesta-
bilność stawu skokowego, stabilizacja po zabiegach
operacyjnych, ochrona stawów skokowych podczas
pourazowego powrotu do czynności sportowych lub
zawodowych.
Zakładanie
1. Rozepnij taśmy stabilizujące.
2. Załóż ortezę tak, aby taśma łącząca znalazła się
pod stopą, a dwie części ortezy obejmowały kostkę
boczną i przyśrodkową. W tym celu wyreguluj
szerokość taśmy podeszwowej za pomocą rzepa.
Upewnij się, że orteza jest umieszczona równo
legle do osi podłużnej kończyny.
3. Zapnij taśmy stabilizujące dookoła stawu skoko-
wego tak, aby zapewniły dobre przyleganie ortezy,
ale nie utrudniały swobodnej cyrkulacji krwi
w kończynie.
4. Włóż stopę z ortezą do buta. Korzystając z ortezy
powinno używać się wygodnego, sportowego
obuwia.
Przeciwwskazania
Stany wymagające unieruchomienia stawów skoko-
wych. Trudno gojące się rany, owrzodzenia i zmiany
skórne w obszarze działania ortezy. Zaburzenia czucia
w obszarze działania ortezy.
Indications:
Post-traumatic conditions of ankle joint (sprain,
dislocation)during functional treatment. Instability of
ankle joint.
Stabilization after surgeries. Ankle joint protection
from recurrent injuries while re-undertaking occupa-
tional or sport activities after experiencing injury.
Application
Never put the brace on a bare foot (the best option is
to put the brace on a soft, cotton sock) which allows to
avoid skin irritation and abrasion.
1. Unfasten the stabilizing bands.
2. Put on the brace so that the junctive band would be
under the foot and two parts of brace embrace the
lateral ankle and medial ankle (using a Velcro band
adjust the width of junctive band).
3. Make sure that the brace is placed parallel to longi-
tudinal axis of lower limb.
4. Fasten the stabilizing bands around the ankle joint
so that the brace would adhere to the body but
would not restrict circulation.
5. Place feet with the orthosis inside shoe. While
using the orthosis wear comfortable, sport shoes.
Contraindications
Conditions which require immobilization of ankle
joint. Dicult to heal wounds, sores and other skin
changes. Dysesthesia
