• Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use in
rain, snow, damp or wet locations. Do not use in
thepresenceofexplosiveatmospheres(gaseous
fumes, dust or flammable materials) because
sparks may be generated when inserting or re-
moving battery pack, possibly causing fire.
• Do not use an extension cord with the appli-
ance. Using an extension cord could result in the
risk of fire and electrical shock.

serious injury.
Save these instructions - This operator’s manual contains important safety and operating
instructions for the MILWAUKEE 12V Power Port. Before using the Power Port, read this
operator’s manual, your battery pack and charger operator’s manual, and all labels on the
battery pack, charger and Power Port.
USE AND CARE
• Use the power port in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Use
ofthepowerportforoperations differentfrom those
intended could result in a hazardous situation.
• Keep powerport away fromother metalobjects
like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws,
or other small metal objects that can make
a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the terminals together may cause burns
or a fire.
BATTERY USE AND CARE
SERVICE
• Do not disassemble. Incorrect reassembly may
resultinthe risk of electric shock or fire.Ifit is dam-
aged, take it to a MILWAUKEE service facility.
• Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store where
temperatures may exceed 120°F (50°C) such as
indirectsunlight, a vehicle or metal building during
the summer.
• Maintain labels and nameplates. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing,
contact a MILWAUKEE service facility for a free
replacement.
• Power port is rated for 12 V DC only. Use only
appropriate MILWAUKEE battery packs. Use of
anyotherbattery packs may create a risk of injury
and fire.
• Recharge only with the charger specified by
the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for
one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire
when used with another battery pack.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, always
remove battery pack before cleaning or mainte-
nance.
• Follow appliance manufacterers’ instructions
regarding operation and power. Use of the ap-
pliance different from those intended could result
in a hazardous situation.
• Use the correct appliance for the application.
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating power port.
Do not use while you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention may result in serious per-
sonal injury.
• Disconnect plugs from the power port and
remove the battery pack before storing. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the appliance accidentally.
• Store idle appliances and power port out of
the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the appliance, power port or
these instructions to operate them. Appliances
and power port are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
• Maintain appliances and power port. Check
for misalignment, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the appliance
and power portoperation. If damaged,have the
appliances or power port repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
appliances and power port.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING Recharge only with the
charger specified for the battery. For specific
charging instructions, read the operator’s
manual supplied with your charger and
battery.
Inserting/Removing the Battery
To remove the battery, push in the release but-
tons and pull the battery pack away from the
power port.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body
of the power port. Make sure it latches securely
into place.
Fuel Gauge
Todetermine the charge of a batterypack,insertthe
battery pack into the power port. The Fuel Gauge
will light up for 2-3 seconds:
Continuous light: 11% - 100%
Slow-blinking light: 1% - 10%
Fast-blinking light: < 1%
Using the Power Port
After installing the battery pack, open the access
door and plug in a 12 V Automotive or 5 V USB
powered appliance.
Iftheappliancedrawsmorethantheratedoutputof
the outlet, the power port will shut off to protect the
batterypack.To restart the power port, removeand
reinstallthebatterypack. Use only appliances rated
within the output specifications for the port.
OPERATION
WARNING Always remove battery
pack before changing or removing acces-
sories. Only use accessories specifically
recommended for this tool. Others may be
hazardous.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING To reduce the risk of per-
sonal injury and damage, never immerse your
tool, battery pack or charger in liquid or allow
a liquid to flow inside them.
WARNING To reduce the risk of injury,
always unplug the charger and remove the
battery pack from the charger or power port
before performing any maintenance. Never
disassemble the power port, battery pack or
charger. Contact a MILWAUKEE service facil-
ity for ALL repairs.
Maintaining Tool
Keep your power port, battery pack and charger
in good repair by adopting a regular maintenance
program. After six months to one year, depending
on use, return the power port, battery pack and
charger to a MILWAUKEE service facility for:
• Electrical inspection
• Testing to assure proper mechanical and
electrical operation
If the power port does not start or operate at full
power with a fully charged battery pack, clean the
contacts on the battery pack. If the power port still
does not work properly, return the power port,
chargerand battery pack, to a MILWAUKEEservice
facility for repairs.
Cleaning
Clean dust and debris from charger and power
port. Keep power port clean, dry and free of oil
or grease. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth
to clean the power port, battery pack and charger
since certain cleaning agents and solvents are
harmfultoplastics and other insulated parts. Some
of these include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thin-
ner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents,
ammonia and household detergents containing
ammonia. Never use flammable or combustible
solvents around power port.

Procedure to make this warranty valid
Take the product to the ASC, along with the warranty card sealed/stamped by the distributor or store where you
purchased the product, and there any faulty piece or component will be replaced without cost for you. We will cover
all freight costs relative with this warranty process.
Exceptions
This warranty is not valid in the following situations:
a) When the product is used in a different manners from the end-user guide or instruction manual.
b) When the conditions of use are not normal.

UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN
DE LA BATTERIE ENTRETIEN
• Le port d’alimentation convient à une tension
de 12 V c.c. seulement. Utiliser uniquement les
batteries appropriées de marque MILWAUKEE.
L’utilisation de toute autre batterie peut créer un
risque de blessures et d’incendie.
• Ne recharger la batterie qu’avec le chargeur
spécifié par le fabricant. Un chargeur qui con-
vient à un type de batterie peut créer un risque
d’incendie s’il est utilisé avec un autre type de
batterie.
• Pour réduire le risque de déchargeélectrique,
retirer la batterie avant de la nettoyer ou de la
réparer.
• Nepas désassembler le produit. Unremontage
incorrectpeutentraîner des risques de choc élec-
triqueoud’incendie. En cas de dommage, confier
le produit à un centre de service MILWAUKEE.
• Entreposer le produit dans un endroit frais
et sec. Ne pas l’entreposer dans des endroits
où la température peut dépasser 50 °C (120 °F)
parexemple, un endroit exposé directement àla
lumièredusoleil,unvéhiculeou une construction
en métal pendant l’été.
• Maintenir en état les étiquettes et les plaques
signalétiques. Des informations importantes y
figurent. Si elles sont illisibles ou manquantes,
contacter un centre de services et d’entretien
MILWAUKEE pour un remplacement gratuit.
Insertion du bloc de piles dans l’outil
Insérez le bloc de piles à partir de l’avant en le
faisant glisser dans le corps de l’outil.
Pour retirer le bloc de piles, enfoncez les deux
loquets de la pile et faites glisser le bloc hors de
l’outil.
Indicateur de charge de la batterie
Pour déterminer la charge d’une batterie, insérer
la batterie dans le port d’alimentation. L’indicateur
de charge de la batterie s’allume pendant deux à
trois secondes :
Lampe qui éclaire de façon constante :
11% - 100%
Lampe qui clignote lentement :
1% - 10%
Lampe qui clignote rapidement :
< 1%
Utilisation du port d’alimentation
Après avoir installé la batterie, ouvrir la porte
d’accès et brancher le port d’alimentation dans
un appareil automoteur de 12 V ou un appareil
USB de 5 V.
Si l’appareil génère une puissance supérieure
à la puissance nominale de la sortie, le port
d’alimentation s’éteint afin de protéger la batterie.
Pour redémarrer le port d’alimentation, retirer et
réinstaller la batterie.
MONTAGE DE L'OUTIL
AVERTISSEMENT Ne recharger la
batterie qu’avec le chargeur spécifié. Pour
les instructions de charge spécifiques, lire le
manuel d’utilisation fourni avec le chargeur
et les batteries.
MANIEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT Retirez la batterie
avant de changerou d’enlever lesaccessoires.
Utilisezles accessoires spécifiquementrecom-
mandés pour cet outil, l’utilisation d’autres

Entretien de l’outil
Gardez l’outil, la batterie et le chargeur en bon état
en adoptant un programme d’entretien ponctuel.
Après une période de six mois à un an, selon
l’utilisation, renvoyez l’outil, la batterie et le char-
geuràuncentredeserviceMILWAUKEEaccrédité
pour les services suivants:

Si l’outil ne démarre pas ou ne fonctionne pas à
pleinepuissancealors qu’il est branché sur une bat-
teriecomplètementchargée,nettoyezlespointsde
contactentrelabatterie.Si l’outil ne fonctionne tou-
jourspascorrectement, renvoyez l’outil, le chargeur
et la batterie à un centre de service MILWAUKEE
accrédité, afinqu’on en effectue la réparation.
ENTRETIEN

branchez le chargeur et retirez la batterie
du chargeur ou de l’outil avant d’y effectuer
des travaux d’entretien. Ne démontez jamais
l’outil, la batterie ou le chargeur. Pour toute

Nettoyage
Débarrassezlesévents du chargeur et de l’outil des

toyage de l’outil, du chargeur et de la batterie doit
se faire avec un linge humide et un savon doux.
Certainsnettoyantstels l’essence, la térébenthine,
lesdiluants à laque ou à peinture, les solvants
chlorés, l’ammoniaque et les détergents d’usage
domestique qui en contiennent pourraient détéri-
orerleplastiqueetl’isolationdespièces.Nelaissez
jamais de solvants inflammables ou combustibles
auprès de l’outil.

MANTENIMIENTOUSO Y CUIDADO DE LAS
HERRAMIENTAS CON BATERÍA
• El puerto de alimentación sóloestá preparado
para una corriente continua de 12 V. Sólo use
las baterías MILWAUKEE adecuadas. El uso de
cualquier otro tipo de batería puede crear riesgo
de lesiones o incendio.
• Recárguela solamente con el cargador es-
pecificado por el fabricante. Un cargador que
sea apropiado para un tipo de batería puede
crear riesgo de incendio cuando se use con otra
batería.
• Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica,
desenchufe siempre el cargador antes de limpi-
arlo o realizarle mantenimiento.
• No lo desmonte. Si se vuelve a montar de
manera incorrecta se puede producir un riesgo
dedescargaeléctricaoincendio. Si está dañada,
llévela a un centro de reparaciones MILWAU-
KEE.
• Almacene la unidad en un lugar frío y seco.
No almacene la unidad donde la temperatura
superelos50°C(120 °F), como por ejemplo bajo
luz solar directa, en un vehículo o en un edificio
metálico durante el verano.
• Mantenga las etiquetas y las placas de iden-
tificación. Tieneninformación importante. Si no
se pueden leer o si faltan, póngase en contacto
con un centro de servicio MILWAUKEE para
obtener un repuesto gratuito.

ENSAMBLAJE
Cómo insertar la batería en la herramienta
Coloque la batería desde el frente, oprimiendo los
botones de liberación y deslizando la batería en el
cuerpo de la herramienta.
Para extraer la batería, oprima ambos seguros de
la batería y deslícela fuera de la herramienta.
OPERACION
ADVERTENCIA Recargue la batería
sólo con el cargador especificado para ella.
Para instrucciones específicas sobre cómo
cargar, lea el manual del operador suminis-
trado con su cargador y la batería.
Indicador de carga
Para determinar el nivel de carga de una batería,
introduzca la batería en el puerto de alimentación.
El indicador de carga se encenderá durante 2-3
segundos:
Luz continua:
11% - 100%
Luz que destella lentamente:
1% - 10%
Luz que destella rápidamente:
< 1%
Uso del puerto de alimentación
Luego de instalar la batería, abra la puerta de ac-
ceso y enchufe un artefacto alimentado por USB
con 5 V o a través de un automotor con 12 V.
Sielartefactoconsumemás de la potencia nominal
en la salida, el puerto de alimentación se apagará
paraproteger la batería. Para reiniciar elpuerto de
alimentación, retire y vuelva a instalar la batería.
ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el
riesgo de lesiones, extraiga siempre la batería
antesdeacoplar o desacoplar accesorios. Uti-
lice únicamente accesorios específicamente
recomendados para esta herramienta. El
uso de accesorios no recomendados podría
resultar peligroso.
Mantenimiento de la herramienta
Adopte un programa regular de mantenimiento
y mantenga sus baterías y cargador en buenas
condiciones. Despues de 6 meses a un año,
dependiendo del uso dado, envíe su herra-
mienta, batería y cargador, al Centro de Servicio
MILWAUKEE mas cercano para que le hagan:
• Inspección eléctrica
• Probarlaparaaseguraruna adecuada operación
mecánicay eléctrica
Si la herramienta no arranca u opera a toda su
potenciacon una batería completamente cargada,
limpie, con una goma o borrador, los contactos
de la batería. Si aun asi la herramienta no trabaja
correctamente, regrésela, con el cargador y la
batería, a un centro de servicio MILWAUKEE para
que sea reparada.
MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el
riesgo de una lesión, desconecte siempre la
herramienta antes de darle cualquier man-
tenimiento. Nunca desarme la herramienta ni
trate de hacer modificaciones en el sistema
eléctrico de la misma. Acuda siempre a un
Centro de Servicio MILWAUKEE para TODAS
las reparaciones.
ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el
riesgo de una explosión, no queme nunca
una batería, aun si está dañada, “muerta” o
completamente descargada.
Limpieza
Limpieelpolvo y suciedad de las ventilas del carga-
dor y la herramienta. Mantenga los mangos y em-
puñaduraslimpios,secosy libres de aceite o grasa.
Use solo jabón neutro y un trapo húmedo para
limpiar la herramienta, batería y el cargador, ya
que algunos substancias y solventes limpiadores
sondañinosalosplásticosypartesaislantes.Algu-
nos de estos incluyen: gasolina, turpentina,thíner,
lacas,thínerparapinturas,solventes para limpieza
con cloro, amoníaco y detergentes caseros que
tengan amonia. Nunca usa solventes inflamables
o combustibles cerca de una herramienta.
