OPERATING THE DIYNV
BEFORE YOU START
1. This device operates by plug-in power
only.
2. This device is intended to be an add-on
to our Bush Baby 4K Wi-Fi and Bush
Baby Night Eye lines. It is not a
standalone camera.
3. IMPORTANT: This unit’s acrylic can get
hot, so please use caution when
handling. To avoid heat, please do not
touch the acrylic while the unit is
powered or for up to 2 hours after it’s
been unpowered.
IMPORTANT WARRANY INFORMATION: If the
warranty sticker on your device has been
removed or tampered with, your lifetime
warranty will be voided. You may be charged
fees or denied a return should this happen.

OPERATING YOUR DEVICE
1. Plug the barrel end of the Charging
Adapter wire into the device’s power
cord, then plug the USB end of the
Charging Adapter into the AC adapter.
Plug the AC adapter into a functional
wall outlet.
2. Place the box front-facing towards the
area you need to have night vision.
a. Note: Think of the box as a
flashlight, and you need to
“light” the subject you want to
capture.
3. This device will turn on automatically
when it senses the lights going off.
4. To make sure the device is working, look
through your phone’s camera at the
unit in the dark. You should see the IRs
inside illuminated.

a. NOTE: For iOS devices, you must
use the front-facing camera.
TROUBLESHOOTING
VIDEO IS DARK
Make sure the IRs are on by turning off
the lights in the room, pointing your
phone’s camera towards the box’s front,
and seeing if the lights inside are
reflecting.
Move the box closer to the place you
need lighted.
VIDEO IS LIGHTENED BUT NOT ENOUGH
Move the box closer to the subject you
are trying to capture.
Make sure all the LEDs inside are
illuminated by performing the actions
above.
